Pork filet

Service was great. Super St. Germaine spritz cocktails Food pork was flavorful but dry/overcooked Nice ambience

If you're looking for the perfect Parisian corner bistro experience, this is the place. Charming patio vibes, delicious food, fantastic cocktails, and quintessential French Café ambiance. We went here for an early lunch and were glad to have beat the crowds. It gets busy but never felt 'crowded'. This is one of those restaurants where you could sit and talk for hours while sipping cocktails and eating yet another plate of escargot.

I had walked past the adorable exterior of Le Corner a few times during my stay in St. Germaine, however this past Sunday I thought it fitting to stop in and grab a bit of brunch. I was quickly seated at a small table of my choice and given a menu. I opted for Le brunch corner which came with a hot beverage, fresh oj, a croissant or pain au chocolat, main, and dessert. Who could turn down that menu? I ordered an earl grey tea, the orange juice which was freshly squeezed , croissant which was so flaky, the eggs with grilled veggies and side salad, and the dessert of the day which was what could be described as brioche French toast with crème fraise and fruit. The meal was the perfect bites to start my last day in Paris' st Germaine neighborhood. If you get a chance to stop into Le Corner... don't think twice! Just do it

Escargot was large and delicious, Baratta appetizer was delicious with a bits of mango and peppers. For a main we had the Salmon with risotto and the tenderloin of pork. Both were amazing, so delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was fabulous as well! Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Perfect ending to a Monday evening in Paris. Quaint and Friendly service, good food. Lovely patio to enjoy a nice glass of wine or have a beer with steak and fries.

Chicken satay with veggies

Found this sweet little bistro a short walk from our hotel in the 4th in Paris. Quaint setting with friendly staff and yummy food. Husband had the burger and fries (husband commented the ground beef tasted much better than American burger) with a bun which is also very Parisian with the light bread and the perfect crunchy cover. I enjoyed the chicken satay with veggies and cos cos which was melt in your mouth good. We weren't rushed as we took our time and enjoyed the rainy evening, savoring every bite.

Now this was an outstanding choice for sidewalk cafe dining in Paris. Great location, impeccable service and outstanding food. Yet nothing fancy or pricey but cozy, other than seating that could use more cushioning. My one complaint. My wife's order: the Poulet Satay Julienne de Legumes (chicken satay & vegetables Julienne ).. My order: the Boeuf Persille Angus (Angus beef with fries and a salad). I also requested the Virgin Colada but was informed that the only remaining mocktail selection they had left was the Fruits frais, which basically consists of orange juice. Almost the consistency of a very thin smoothie, very refreshing. My wife normally doesn't care much for chicken satay, but this wasn't anything like what you find in Asian restaurants; she loved it. And as for my beef angus, probably about the best seasoned and prepared flavorful cuts of beef I've tasted in a very long time. And did I mention dessert? For her, a type of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, which she relished. But I believe my tastebuds went beyond hers with my choice of 3 scoops; chocolate, strawberry and passion. Italian Ice has nothing on this French ice cream I enjoyed at Le Corner! In any return visit to Paris we'd definitely dine here again.

Food was very tasty, fast, and they had several healthy options without bread or flour. Out waitress was very patient and helpful, she answered all of our questions. We ate outside and even though it felt a bit tight, we enjoyed our meal.

We ate a late lunch here on the recommendations of Yelp and it was great. My wife and I enjoy all foods, as does my daughter, but my son is a picky eater (chicken tenders and fries are the norm). We all enjoyed the Chicken Satay, Beef and fries, and a salad so much the first time that we went back and all ordered the same thing. They also have a great wine list and local beer on draft called merrier that was great and hard to find elsewhere. The next time we are back, this will be a go to!

Pork and mashed potatoes

Food here was amazing. I ordered the pork and mashed potatoes and wow - the wine reduction sauce on the pork - magnificent. Perfectly tender and cooked to perfection. The only issue was the smoke smell. The first entry into restaurant is the smoking area which is pretty typical I believe but the smell drifts into the non smoking part and it was a little distracting, especially with a child in tow. Maybe double layer the opening to drown out that smell? Service was fast, accommodating. We felt very welcomed!

Another great meal. We had many during our trip to Paris. We had lunch at an outdoor table. Service was good.

Service was good. Hygiene was good! Decor was good! Food was on point. We ordered Escargot, Polet Satay, and filet mignon de porc, 1 cup of champagne. I would recommend this place.

A nice bottle of red Brouilly accompanied our meal.

We found this little gem of a restaurant while wandering around Saint-Germaine one evening. We were looking for something rather light, and thought their appetizers looked interesting. We ordered their starter sampler plate, which came with: --Fried Brie with Black Garlic. Just amazing; so rich and decadent! --Sweet Potato, topped with Guacamole, Goat Cheese, Garbanzo Beans, Herb Mixture (Chimichurri?) and Shaved Red Onions. Sounds odd, but this was delicious! Boyfriend loved it, and he's not a big vegetarian fan. I bought the ingredients to try this at home! --Super Creamy Burrata with Mangoes and Veggies. Very rich and decadent! --Fresh (raw) Salmon with EVOO. Restaurant was out of the Foie Gras, so they substituted this dish, which was just great. A nice bottle of red Brouilly accompanied our meal, as we sat and people watched during a lovely evening at the end of our stay in Paris. This is a great brasserie. Definitely worth a visit!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

We split a very fairly priced bottle of wine and ended the night with the scoop of mousse. If they could figure out how to do that intravenously, that'd be great. The mousse reminded me of a great guilty pleasure, which is eating straight out of the can of Duncan Hines chocolate frosting (ask me how I know, I do this often, going to rebrand it to me being European). It was a cute little spot with plenty of seating and a small bar right up front. The problem was that it's so cramped in there. They fully pack that place pretty tight in there. While they take walk-ins, they were so busy that had we not had a reservations we likely wouldn't have gotten a table in a reasonable timeframe. I think we waited about 15-20 minutes outside until our table was ready. As for service, while they weren't exactly rude, they for sure weren't exactly friendly either. This was also a spot that didn't cater too much to tourists by having English on the menu. I don't fault them for that though, it's their country. I would recommend having a translator app at the ready though with French downloaded. As for the food it was a bit of a letdown for me. We had a number of items to share with each other. Without having reliable signal in Paris, it was hard to use the translator app so I'll do my best with the foods. We ordered a ratatouille (don't think it was a traditional one though), a shrimp dish, white sauce pasta, escargot, duck breast and the chocolate mousse. The ratatouille was OK but was just like a roughly chopped cooked vegetable dish. The shrimp dish was fine as well but nothing standoutish. Our favorite dish was my friend's white sauce pasta; it was flavorful, rich and decadent but somehow not overpowering. The escargot, as expected was not good for me, but "When in Rome" (or Paris haha). It was just a weird chewy Thing that just tasted like oil and garlic with whatever herbs they used. I especially was off put by the little grains of sand or broken shell that was a part of each bite. The duck breast was a little bland if not for the sauce and it was also a tad tough as well. I will say the chocolate mousse was super rich and sweet; I couldn't eat that whole order by myself but it's nice to share for a little end of meal treat.
