Delicious strawberry croissant.
Rudiger S.

A great in the little twin of Morro Bay. The strawberry croissant is outrageously delicious as are their breakfast sandwiches. We ordered our sandwiches on their baguettes and wow. Well worth every penny. We meant to hibachi a second time but never got around to it. Service is great. The little bakery had a couple of tables outside and a fed more inside. The coffee was tasty and the smell was even better. We're sold. Cheers .

Definitely a great little place to stop in & get a pastry, sandwich or anything else that may sound good on their menu. Been stopping in for years, food is always good with friendly service. All in all: Good food, friendly! Can get packed in the morning/lunch.

Get to this shop if you are anywhere near Morro Bay. The baked goods are divine. Excellent! Raspberry, cherry, strawberry pastries with a delicious custard-type center. Cookies so good you'll have a hard time eating only one. There were multiple choices of various quiches and the slice was generous. The shrimp salad was great, especially for the price. The sandwiches were filling, tasty and reasonably priced. The small restaurant might have a long line requiring a wait to order food, but it's well worth it. There are lots of tables despite the small size of the restaurant. Everything was very clean. It's a great place for breakfast or lunch, or just for a sweet treat.

Morro Rock view!

Wow...the BEST!! It's all I can do not to come every day to this amazing bakery! Their quiche is so light and tender-the best I've ever had! Every pastry I have is accompanied by "mmmmm" and the French toast sticks are incredible!! They have tasty looking breakfast sandwiches that I will try soon--I'm sure they'll also be amazing!! They also serve lunch which is also on my agenda...I imagine their French onion soup will be delicious and perfect for a cooler Morro Bay day! Sitting out looking at the rock and the wharf is perfect!Prices are fair and the value for the quality is outstanding! And if that's not enouthe people are as wonderful as the food--super dog friendly too! This place deserves more than 5 stars!!!

There is often a line out the door early in the day. Trust me it's worth it! Their breakfast croissant is the best deal in town but that doesn't stop there. They have to lost reasonably priced menu on the Embarcadero. If you're in the mood for a quick bite before you head off to explore the marina, come here. They have scratch made pastries and baked breads. They also offer coffee and iced lattes. The quiche is excellent and my go-to is their fruit tart. So good.

Almond Brioche for a light quick breakfast.

We got a Cream cheese Blueberry Croissant and an Almond brioche. The croissant won this round. Light, airy, crispy and fluffy. Crafted perfectly and offset by the tasty blueberry cream cheese. The Almond Brioche was good, but somehow overshadowed by my wife's croissant. (Sounds like odd code words, but it's not... right?!) The customer service was good, space is small and can get crowded. We were here at 0830 so just 3 other parties somewhat crowding the limited space. We will return to pick up some pastries for our chitlins! THAT'S code for children, you weirdos.

Delicious pastries. The breakfast croissant was over toasted and plain. Stick with the pastries and you can't go wrong.

Cute bakery near the water and the major street in Morro Bay. The quiche was solid and I appreciated that the strawberry croissant was packed with strawberries

Whether you're here for a pastry, a sweet treat, a healthy dog treat, a coffee, or anything else, they've always treated everyone like family. No one is just a customer. I will always cherish my memories of the first cinnamon crisp when I was barely old enough to walk. All these years later, they still impress me with fresh baked goods and the best ice cream! She treated my family wonderfully and took the time to explain all the treats, which made the experience genuinely enjoyable. This time, however, things were different. When I came back, there was a very short 4 ft man wearing a hairnet and another woman behind the counter. The woman glanced at me and immediately turned away, while the man gave me a hollow, thousand-yard Gen Z stare. To make matters worse, they didn't heat up my scrumptious snuggle treat--it was served cold. If those two hadn't been more focused on flirting with each other, this visit might have been a good experience too.

I purchased the pain au levain, in lieu of a baguette, for $12. The price is pretty steep for a loaf, but seems to be the going rate for these smaller boutique bake shops. The bread itself was warm when I purchased it, which was awesome. Enjoyed it with my coffee, but did find it to be a little doughy on the inside. Good flavor, but not something I would come back for. I'd rate it a solid 3.5. I also purchased the chocolate chip cookies. I think I completely went brain dead when I bought these, because I did read they were gluten-free and vegan, but still bought the pack of 6. Man, they looked like chocolate chip cookies, but didn't taste like chocolate to me, at all. For a regular chocolate chip cookie lover, it's a 1 star. For someone looking for a gluten-free and vegan cookie, this could be a winner. Maybe.

I asked for a Mango something smoothie but no pineapple, be creative. The place has a good variety of drinks and edibles, sandwiches, salads, avocado toast, and on and on. The folks were friendly, it was pretty crowded. I considered the Eggs Benedict but was disappointed to see that the Hollandaise was "creole" flavored. I ended up ordering a basic breakfast: eggs, bacon, potatoes, english muffin. Can't go wrong with that, right? I ordered my eggs "broken over-hard" but they came out over-hard. I order this way to have the yolk spread out into the white. The english muffin was grilled, so not hard on the outside, but it was still good. The eggs were rubbery. The potatoes were a bit too spicy, I needed ketchup to eat them. Bacon was OK. Thin napkins, needed more. Plate was chipped. Had to use the restroom before leaving, it is now a gender neutral bathroom and Burt Reynolds is still presented in all his glory!! I must have a totally different sense of humor. Won't be back here, nothing on their menu appeals to me. Sorry.
