Ordered two liquados de horchata fucking delicious. But they fucked up. They gave my girl a good amount but gave me literally half empty with the rest being foam. I mean I felt the difference between mine and hers. The fact that she was holding both and felt the weight difference and still gave it to us and didn't say shit is why I'm giving you stingy fucks 1 star. Shoulve made more if you saw you didn't make enough. Shit was lime 7.00 dollars. I was not satisfied at all. This place has the Best Tortas, Best Tostadas, and great fruit drinks. The meat never has any fat. They grill the sandwich panini style. The juice is made with fresh fruit and is always refreshing. Everything around $5 Bux!!! read more

Great tortas that are very generously portioned. But they are always short staffed, the cooks have to work hard and do double duty back and forth from the register to the kitchen which leads to long waits (up to 10 mins) in a short line. Food keeps this place at 4 stars, but the recent price increases.... ($7.xx torta) might deter some to go just down the street to the many Mexican Places in El Rio. read more

Restaurant needs a new manager. Starting with customer service. .there was none. No welcome or thank you. Lady who took my order look like she had somewhere better to be. But, the most important, and disappointing was the meat. The carne asada torta we got was oiling and clearly reheated from the day prior. I always come here for the fruta energetico even if sometimes they are out of ingredients and they don't tell you till you get your order. Poor costumer service, I called for a Togo order I was on hold for 15 min. I got to the place and told the lady if she forgot she had me on hold. And she didn't know what to say. This place has lost a bit of the service they once had with it's rise in popularity due to word to mouth and over zealous yelpers. The daily baked bread makes up for the warming of pre-cooked meat in a microwave. Tortas made here are average. It's a great value when you have time to wait 10 minutes to initially place your order. If the owners added more staffing I might be apt to add a star to my rating. Come for the tortas and stay for the blaring Banda music from a boombox with shot-out speakers. read more

The place is dirty, the tortas were way smaller and not great! Drinks, yea they may have variety but whats the point if there is no quality! I just paid $12.41 for a torta de jamon and an horchata. Wow...that's pretty damn expensive! Their menu doesn't even have the prices on it...shady. If I had seen that the regular size horchata was $4.99 I sure as hell would not have ordered it. But, like I said, there weren't any prices. I went here with my sister for lunch before work and it was horrible. My sister was given a drink that tasted like it was left out for days and then given to us. She politely asked the lady if she can get it replaced and the ladies who were working there started talking in Spanish about my sister. They didn't realize we are Mexican. I went up to the lady and told her in Spanish that was rude for her to be talking about their customers like we're not there and she told me if she wanted to refuse my service she has the right to do so. I told her I didn't want her service and to refund my money. Not only was the workers there rude but they were very unsanitary. There were flies hovering the food area and the tables weren't picked up of the mess left behind, the floor looked sticky. I only agreed to eating there cause I didn't have time to go anywhere else due to that I had to leave to work right after. Believe I called environmental health department and reported the place. I received a call back from them telling me they agreed the place was in violation of health codes. I work with lawyers and the workers who work there gave me a bad taste of this place. They're lucky I didn't take legal action. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more
