The chorizo breakfast burrito was AWESOME. Tasty and hot, even though the burrito fell apart at the end I went native and scooped up all the remaining chorizo, eggs, and rice with my fingers. Lupitas has been a go to burrito spot for me over the years. It started with their breakfast burritos and now I go foe their asada and on this last time there, I had a carnitas burrito. The ladies put a great amount of rice, beans and meat inside the burrito. The red salsa is delicious. They do offer a small size burrito and that can definitely satisfy me. They have a large sized burrito as well. Lots of pan as well. There is seating in the place that it is connected to. The service is great. read more

Ok so I go to this place every Friday for a burrito, food is good. However, this last visit i was double charged. I don't know why, but this time I decided to ck my bank account before leaving and noticed the double charge. I went in to ask why and they said "noooo it's ok we only charged you once," I had one of the workers take a picture of the double charge from my checking, so if I was charged twice, someone would be aware of the issue. A few days pass and sure enough the money was taken out of my account. I called and had to go down there before work to take care of the problem. Yes, I got my money back, however this led me to go back through my back account to see if they're had been any other weird charges. Come to realize, that every time I've been in, I had been charged different $$ amounts for the same exact order I get every week. Ummmmm ya, uh that's a problem!! WHY different amounts?? When they ask me, "do you want your receipt" I always say "no, that's ok". Thinking this place does right by their customers. In short, DON'T trust them, and ALWAYS get a reciept! Best burritos around. The chili relleno burrito is awesome. Not greasy and just the right amount of cheese! They have a great selection of baked items but I can't review them because I've only had the burritos. The service is great. Staff is very friendly but you primarily deal with the cashier only. The place is very small and can get crowded real fast, standing room only. There is a very small section to sit and eat but the lines for the burritos, tacos and other entrees will pretty much over take the small sitting stool area. Most, if not everyone, get their food to go. Parking is very limited. The location is in a small 10-15 business strip mall so if you see a parking spot as you enter the area, take it because you might not find one and will have to drIve out of the parking lot back onto the main road, Vineyard Avenue. This place is the true definition of a "hole in the wall" place. Don't let the location fool / scare you. This is as authentic as it gets and the food is real good. Give it a try! read more

Came here during the week with my stepson and the burrito was bomb! Asada was juicy and flavorful. Came back on the weekend and it was awful. Meat was dryer than a piece of jerky! Flavorless burrito! Also have to point this out cause it's super important to me! When I came with my stepson he speaks fluent Spanish and ordered in Spanish and got all smiles from the older lady. Today went in with just me and hubby and no hablas espãnol! We speak just a tiny bit, enough to order. But let me tell you, if looks could kill we'd be dead. This place used to be good and inexpensive, this morning the food looked very bland, specially what looked like scrambled eggs with something, got a chile relleno burrito, and a coke. The lady made a mess with the thin foil, I had to cleaned it from excess salsa and cilantro and onion. To my surprise for the food they serve now was very expensive and no flavor at all. I used to get the chicharron en salsa verde but they did not have it today. For $10 bucks for a burrito and $3.50 for soda and a service charge of $.54 plus $1.25 tax and no flavor is disappointing. I've purchased a dozen of chicken and pork tamales for an office party. To my disappointment I actually got 90% masa. The tamales were extremely dry with very little meat and Chile sauce. Been coming here for more than 11 years. Used to love their breakfast burritos and coffee. Today changed all that. I walked in and not a single employee was wearing a face mask. The kitchen crew nor the cashier. To top it off, all customers are sharing the same tongs to pick up their sweet bread. All customers are serving their own coffee and touching the creamer containers. I did not see any employee coming out to keep wipe down or disinfect what's being handled. How is this ok with all the strict regulations? Customers, however, are still walking in wearing face masks. I love this bakery for pan & burritos The food is fresh & you can see them cooking it for the most part. The prices are cheap! A burrito is between 4.50-6.50 which is a great price! As a first time customer I walked in and asked where I order & the cashier was like "aya" I'm like???? Okay. They need to have a sign that says order here & pay here.
