Ceviche tostada, elote and guacamole
Renata G.

Came here for dinner. Super chill casual vibe. You scan QR code and come up to order at the bar. It's Happy Hour from 5-7pm so the Guac was $7. Then we got elote, ceviche tostada and some tacos. Everything was delicious including the salsas. The tacos aren't super loaded so I'd recommend to get other plates too. I love the outdoor seating - it's cute and I can only imagine it during the day when it's sunny. Would love to try more things when I'm in the area!

Seriously great place with killer drinks and insanely good food. Came here with a friend and really dug the palomas. Fruity and sweet with a hefty pour of booze. Glad I went with a whole torta, and it was really massive. Ate the PAMBAZO and oh my. That vegan chorizo was AMAZING. The crema fresca and the queso fresco was on point - I was just in heaven the entire time. Service was attentive, even on a Friday night and truly enjoyed my time. I definitely want to come back for the happy hour deals and I want to try more on the mezcal menu.

Small bar and restaurant in Bushwick with a solid selection of tacos and tortas. The tortas also come in half portions, they are delicious but very filling! Also has a daily happy hour with $5 beers and discounted margaritas until 7pm. The staff are friendly and overall it's pretty good value for money. Little outdoor space in the back seems nice for the summer but a bit cold right now!

The outside seat place!! It's perfect!!

This is the best Mexican place in Bushwick, the food is great, the cocktails are awesome and the prices are the best!! And they have a cute outside place in the back!!

Great new casual Mexican spot with a focus on tortas and tacos, but everything that comes out of the kitchen is excellent. Definitely get the guacamole to start ($9), which comes with very few but very large chips that are super crispy and nicely seasoned. For something really light and refreshing, start with the Ensalada de Jicama ($8), then move on to the Tuna Tacos ($9 for 2) and the Pambazo-Azo ($6 for half or $11 for a whole).

Cool spot

Mind blowing Mexican from the Hecho en Dumbo folks. Hipper than hip, cooler than cool, the metal security door opens to a long bar cum restaurant. The feeling is clandestine and the epitome of cool. Named La Loncheneria means amazing tacos and tortas, but this bad ass spot is so much more. This is serious Mexican food, made to order, small plates style nothing casual about the food. Ate: Creviche Chilitos rellenos with tuna Tuna taco al sarten Mushroom soup Veggies Total;$45 The chilitos rellenos with fresh tuna was unlike anything I've tasted. Everything was delicious and super tasty bordering on spicy in the best possible way. The cerviche comes with large crispy round corn tortillas. There are a few larger plates including a pork shank cooked on a grill- will come back for that. PS I ate here Friday night and I pay for my food! #Faboulos!

Delicious tacos and mezcals

What a delightful place! As someone who loves mezcal, I couldn't believe the great selection of high-quality mezcals, all 100% artisanal and from different varieties. We paired those mezcals with two orders of tacos: Campechanos, wow! The perfect balance between the three meat varieties, and finally, THE COSTRA, it's a MUST! I won't say more. When you enter the place, it seems like it's just a bar, but they have tables at the back and even a quite large patio in the back part. Highly recommended.

Classic Mexican cantina meets modern luncheonette / diner. Serving casual but sublimely delicious food. Understated but undeniably cool in every aesthetic, from the wall art and custom tiling to the lighting and counter design. With a staff and atmosphere that exemplify what I love about my home borough: eclectic, unpretentious, convivial, artistic, welcoming. Great happy hour and 2-for-1 Monday mezcal specials. Everything I've eaten here falls between delicious and mind-blowingly delicious. Highly recommend: - La Niña Popov lamb-belly torta - Ensalada de la Casa (refreshing salad with butter lettuce and beautiful combination of flavors) - Sartén de Palo tuna tacos - Sopa Tarasca (black bean soup) - Green pozole (this was a special, not regular menu item)

Great ambiente and fantastic service. The food is not just spectacular, it is presented in a marvelous way and the cocktail is memorable. It is an amazing experience, 100% worth it.

#Fantastic Happy Hour! $5 Margaritas $4 Micheladas in those big Dallas BBQ chalices. #Daily They gave me a little taco that's #complimentary during Happy Hour if you buy a drink. That was #really good. I did get the #Pork Shoulder plate. It had good flavors. But I wish it wasn't a cutlet. I thought it was going to be slow cooked pull apart meat. Or I wish I could order some of the other meats they have as a plate. Like the #Lamb Belly. #I like how the tortillas have some grilled char on it. Everywhere else in the neighborhood, it's #steamed and wet. This makes a big difference. Even though I try not to eat much #carbs.

Everyone that works there is super attentive and for how busy they are they always make sure to check up on your table. Their tacos are extremely delicious, they don't hold back with make sure each taco is full of any kind of meat that you get! Full of flavor and just looking at them reminds you why they're the best. Some other notable things that you should get is the quesadillas and the nachos they have. I'll have to keep coming back to try other things. Great place for sporting events as well as I was here with a group to watch Brazil vs Morocco and stayed to watch the Knicks win right after and become champions!

This neighborhood gem offers an industrialized minimalist form of decor with pops of color and art. Cozy but roomy, the bar area had mostly 2 seater tables and a few with high chairs. We recently went for a birthday brunch. Restaurant Week was still in effect but we decided to choose from the regular brunch menu. Place was low key and giving neighborhood vibes. The service was 10 STARS! Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind. We were also checked on by a second staff member who I think may have been a manager but cannot be certain. We started with cocktails and they serve chips and salsa gratis. I had the Jalapeno and Hibiscus Margarita and my friend ordered the Pepper Margarita with Strawberry and Chipotle. Mine was a bit on the sweet side without a hint of tequila. My friend's drink definitely was the better of the two. Not overly sweet and definitely a flavor of tequila was present. We also ordered a guacamole. I must say it was quite small and barely served 2 people. I suggest if more than 2 guests are part of the experience, order more than one. For my entree, I requested a market salad and 2 veggie tacos with a side of birria consume. Salad was very fresh and I am sure was made to order as opposed to premade a week prior and waiting in a fridge to be served. My tacos were average but satisfying. The consume was a bit disappointing as it was more of a water/broth based and not of a typical gravy consistency. It was not exciting. My friend's entree was the highlight of the experience. She had the brisket quesadilla. Never have I seen a quesadilla with a crispy outside such as this. A culinary masterpiece indeed. She consumed it all and not one complaint afterward. Delish. We did receive a complimentary Churro plate for the birthday celebration. They were drizzled with caramel and berries. Served warm, they were a dream for the palate. I did use the bathroom which was a single stall. It was clean enough but not well lit. The biggest downfall of my experience was the temperature of the restaurant. I understand it is summer, however, there was no A/C and the inside was extremely hot. I sweated through my entire experience. Even the bathroom felt like 100 degrees. We did not complain but our waitress noticed and brough a fan out to circulate the air. They do have ceiling fans but honestly I did not feel them. The management/owner should consider more temperature control methods during the hotter months as it was quite uncomfortable. To sum it up, I thought this experience was mostly positive and would patronize it again.

Very cute, vibe-y little spot, perfect for lunch with amazing drinks!…read more Very cute, festive cultural decor. Great music! Outdoor covered seating available. We started off with a round of drinks. A Mexican Coke, two types of mezcal margaritas that were amazing! The one with the blackberry syrup and thyme was INCREDIBLE! Our table also had a mocktail and it was delish! We started off with some guac and fresh chips. VERY SMALL SERVING. I would skip this dish based on the serving size alone. It wasn't worth it. And it wasn't that great to be so small. We also had a bowl of black bean soup. It was great! My daughter and I shared a plate of salsa verde enchiladas. Chicken. We loved them! The salsa-SO GOOD! The only thing that was spicy was the habanero salsa. But it was overly good! I couldn't help myself! We also each had a taco. And had a shrimp taco that was topped with a cool, crunchy coleslaw. She had a Birria taco. Both were perfect! My husband order a steak torta. He's a man of few words. But he seemed to be happy. My son in law had the molcajete and raved about it. It certainly looked beautiful! Look forward to coming back! Service was amazing! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, had great recommendations, and was absolutely the sweetest!

Most of all, what I really appreciated with every bite is that I wanted more and that it was so unique compared to anything else that I had ever tried. I thought the tasting menu was a really good deal, but you should also consider booking just a la carte because everything was so solid. You can tell when the chips served alongside the guacamole are so delicious and so unique that the rest of the meal is going to be incredible. I will say that it did seem slightly understaffed. Our waiters did the best they could, but dinner took longer than expected. It was still a great experience for both those on dates and those there with friends!
