I think this is the new seedy bar of this generation. It's like a nice upgraded trendy seedy bar. I think the cocktail i ordered was a squirter with tequila and lime. Reminds me of corona with lime except margaritas version lol. The waiter was friendly. This is somewhere I would come if I just want to have a drink and be left alone.

Good vibes, and pretty good food! I had heard great things about this place and finally got the chance to try it. We came on a rainy Thursday evening right before the end of happy hour, and were able to still order off that menu in time. I got the chicken nachos, and our table got the quesadilla, mango habanero wings, and the ultimate margarita. The happy hour deals are so worth it! The nachos were great -- the chicken was super well seasoned, toppings were plentiful, and they used queso which I actually enjoyed despite not being a huge fan of cheese. I'd come back for the happy hour deals and ambiance. Its a nice place!

Such a fun and cute spot! Met my friend here for HH and to catch up on work and life. Wasn't crowded when we arrived but def filled up as we were leaving. Our server was so cute and always checked in when walking around. I ordered mango habeñero wings and he got ceviche since he just had his ortho visit. Couldn't really eat anything too hard. My wings were tender and very flavorful. Wasn't spicy but that's okay. Drinks were on the stronger side. Will probably be back in the future as it's only a few min away from the office.

Chips and salsa aguacate (would not recommend this as it was a bit watery, get a different salsa)

This is a spot I didn't know about til recently! Their crispy curly fries with chipotle aioli are to die for. Our group devoured like four servings. Would definitely recommend! Tough seating though if going with group of more than 4.

A decent spot for spending time. We visited during happy hour. My friends enjoyed the potent drinks. The food was passable, though the curly fries arrived cold and soggy. The service was satisfactory too. However, one disappointment was paying for a jukebox song that was abruptly cut off after just 5 seconds. I wouldn't consider returning to this place in the future.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant! We love mexican food and had stumbled upon La Josie's. The atmosphere is pretty lively, with loud music and an overall fun vibe. I had the chicken tortilla soup and a couple of tacos, and they were all very tasty. If you have a big appetite, note that they tacos are street tacos, meaning, they are smaller. So order more and try a few extra tacos. Our server was prompt and attentive, and really nice. I really enjoyed my dining experience at La Josie's. BATHROOM REVIEW: The bathroom had an interesting purple hue. Everything was in working order. They have one of those dual flush systems. One for #1, other for #2. Sit or squat? Squat.

La Josie's Seattle appears to have opened right around the beginning of the pandemic. Its been a year dishing up Mexican favorites and cocktails , but they're still going strong, With most restaurants opening up again at 25% capacity its been interesting which place would meet our needs of physical distancing/ barriers following the strict COVID restrictions and our own need for personal safety from others. They do have a small outdoor patio section as well as indoor booths that are separated by plexiglass. Now for the food, we ordered: Chimichanga (chicken) $11 Quesadilla (Carne Asada) $8 Coquito (a coconut cocktail with rum and allspice) $8 The Carne Asada Quesadilla was amazing! the meat was grilled and had a slight char on it. Combine it with melted cheese sandwiched between a tortilla shell and you got magic! The Chimichanga was stuffed to the brim with braised chicken. But the flavours of everything let me wanting the chimichanga to be stuffed with the Carne Asada instead. The Coquito was a nice creamy drink and perfect for a light weight like myself. If your looking for something with more of a punch then they have a large booze menu for you to try. Keep up the great work La Josie's! Can't wait to try the other items on your menu!

Food, was well seasoned and tasty. Service could have been more helpful, server would not give suggestions just stated "everything is good".

La Josie's is such a fun spot in cap hill! They have great happy hour deals and I really loved the veggie chimichanga I got! I thought $11 was pretty reasonable for the portion as well. We also got nachos and tacos which were also delicious. The servers were also very kind and chill, I appreciated their check ins.

Good food and drinks, a little on the rich/cheese-heavy side. Nachos had a queso rather than melted cheese which was a unique twist.

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. This is the spot I bring all my out-of-town friends to because the ambiance, vibes, and drinks are just that good. Truly one of Seattle's gems.

For one, the bar service was mediocre for my $26 cocktail. I get more conversation from the bartenders at the Red Onion.... And because they bartender wasn't paying attention, he forgot to put our food order in....probably didn't need it anyway, I need to diet. And then we get the check and they automatically add 22%...if you are a quality establishment offering exceptional customer service, you don't need to tell me what to tip...guess you are not. And they they have the nerve to ask me if I want to tip another 18%, 20%, or 25% when I sign the check on their Toast device... I'll go out for a quality cocktail experience at Needle & Thread, The Doctor's Office, or maybe the Red Onion, lol. But I won't be coming back here ever again.

Either way, we had a great time. You get a small cup of champagne while you wait/once you are seated. We each tried two drinks, and honestly everything was great. My favorite was the tart au citron-- it was sweet and tart and a perfect cocktail! My friend really loved the espresso martini-- I had a sip and it's probably one of the best in the city. Definitely worth a try and will be what we get again next time we come again!

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
