Mango Margarita

If you're into strong (and I mean STRONG) frozen drinks and fun decor, you'll love Nacho Borracho! It's one of my favorite places to randomly pop into. The staff is exceptionally nice and the always greets you upon entering. I always end up grabbing a mango marg, but I love their seasonal/rotating drink menu too. You can also order non-frozen drinks (but that's no fun!) I love looking at the random stickers in the booths. Seems like there's something new every time. They also recently got a new food menu - I have yet to try but I saw an order of nachos come out and yummmmmm. Next time for sure. FYI - Currently requiring proof of vaccination

Pink Guava Moscow Mule and 3 Carnitas tacos

I got the Pink Guava Moscow Mule and 3 Carnitas tacos. Everything was SO good. Pricey for Tacos, but that's just the way it is these days if you're not going to your local taqueria or vendor on the corner. Place was a little empty during my visit, but the place has good vibes and the playlist was REALLY good. I guess you could come here for music discovery too.

I'm not sure why this place isn't more popular but I am glad for selfish reasons. I come here all the time for drinks and tacos. It's a good place to chill, and everything I've ever ordered has been excellent. Their blended drinks hit the spot during the summer (my favorite is the mango lassi) and the queso birria tacos have literally ruined my life (they're so good we get them several times a month).

Don't order this. Tequila dark and stormy-- has too many flavors going on, and not in a good way.

Nacho is a solid spot in a world of rotating bars and taco joints. I think it's pretty cool that a minority and women owned business is so successful in this city. I also love that Neon Taco is one of the first window/pop up restaurants operating independently inside a bar and now a lot of places do it that way. It makes me happy to see business owners being able to open their own places and help each other out like that. The food is great, the drinks are strong and delicious, and the employees are friendly and professional. Photobooth, party room in the back, a few arcade games, DJ nights...it's a good spot any night of the week. Oh, and they refuse service to Nazis! Yet another plus in my book.

The tacos are so yummy! I recommend the al pastor tacos and the drinks are also great.

Hooray for Nacho Borracho! I love going here when I can - meaning when I can drag my friends to go with me. The inside is spacious and kept clean - theres ample seating at the bar, tables and booths (booths are my favorite). I really enjoy the vibe here - a little grungy and punk. The staff is always so helpful and nice and one big plus is that the music isn't obnoxiously loud to the point you can't hear yourself think or your friends talking. I pretty much only order the Pink Guava Moscow Mule (BEST DRINK EVER) and the veggie tacos. The Pink Guava Moscow Mule is a powerful and delicious drink that will have you on your but after a few - haha! There aren't many vegetarian options but you will fall in love with the tacos. It's overstuffed and packed with flavor.

Dear world, This review is for the bar. I've been here twice and I tend to see a pattern of sass with the bartenders. Not regular bartender sass (I used to bartender as well), but a bitter I-hate-my-job-so-I'll-retort-like-an-uncalled-asshole sass. But it's fine, I got my drinks and sat to wait for the delicious Neon Taco food to arrive. Love, Erika. P.S.: The Avocado Margarita sounds good. Don't get it. It doesn't taste like Avocado at all, but does have that tangy, shitty mix taste that is reminiscent of a bad college weekend in Tijuana.

I was craving for neon tacos, but to get to neon tacos you, must go inside of nacho borracho. We made a stop at the bar for a few drinks. The service was nice, interior is absolutely alive with lightings hanging from the ceiling it made me felt like, I was on vacation in mexico sipping on their tequila slush on a summer night..... They have tequila slushy machine!!!! I never made it to neon tacos haha it just means it'll give me another reason to come back!!!!

The whole space has this intimate, luxurious atmosphere that makes the experience feel special the moment you walk in. We tried the Japanese Breakfast, which is a savory cocktail and such a pleasant surprise. It genuinely has miso soup notes. It's very unique and creative. I also had El Boho (flavorful but not overly sweet). The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to recommending drinks. The prices are on the higher end, but personally I think they're totally worth it for the creativity and overall experience. This is the spot I bring all my out-of-town friends to because the ambiance, vibes, and drinks are just that good. Truly one of Seattle's gems.

The First Gentleman was attentive and we got our drinks and an appetizer timely. We ordered our second appetizer with our first server and thats where the service deteriorated. I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. Another 10-15 mins go by and I had to ask "do you know how long our order will take to which she seemed to get annoyed. It could have my energy because by that time I was annoyed. I'm not sure what happened to our original server but he must have gotten off. About 5-10 mins goes by and here it comes. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. Make sure to read the website on their thought around the 22%.

When the city reopened in 2021, I was eating here almost every day; partly because of convenience, but mainly because the food and service never miss. I've hosted everything here: birthday celebrations, after-work hangs, and dinners with friends and colleagues. Every single time, it's a hit. People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they send out. Drinks are equally impressive. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. They're incredibly accommodating with large parties, and the service stays sharp even when the place is packed. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced; they know how to take care of people. Dead Line checks every box: atmosphere, flavor, presentation, service, and seamless hosting for big groups. It's easily one of the most reliable and enjoyable spots in downtown Seattle, and it's stayed that way for years.

The front of the bar is standard tables with the back of the bar having cute seating areas. I got the gingerbread expresso martini which was really yummy! Our drinks did take a while to get to us despite sitting right at the bar but we did have a table of 7 so understood. We got our appetizers before our drinks: Brussel sprouts (SO YUMMY), oysters, and truffle fries (towered in parm!). These went down super quick. I then ordered the pork arepa for my entree and wow...not what i was expecting but will never regret! One of my favorite dishes I've had in a while that I'll keep thinking about. All the flavors worked so well together and the arepa itself was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pork was sweeter due to the marinade and not salty at all which i preferred. Will 100% be back!

Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.
