I can't recommend the LA Dog Behaviorist enough! I took my 3-year-old dog Ziggy to see Michael shortly after relocating to Glendale from Chicago. Ziggy is an Australian Cattle mix who was struggling with some territorial and aggressive tendencies toward other dogs. She would also bark at the door when neighbors would pass. From the first day Michael worked with Ziggy, I was amazed at how receptive she was to the training. 7/21/21. It has been a week since our Redford (7 yrs Old English Bulldog) died under your care while we were on vacation.  You never took ownership of what happened only dropping him at our vet deceased calling us that he "expired" at 5:00 p.m.  We cut our vacation short to rush home from MX where our vet said he died of heat exhaustion.  You over worked my poor baby and we specifically told you when we dropped him off, its hot out so please make sure he is kept cool meaning no exercising as well.  You take these dogs on your crazy skateboard and run them down tired rather than walking them like a real trainer does. How can you Call the night of his death that he was lethargic in the morning and threw up his food.  He stayed in the kennel all day pooped his the kennel and not once did you call us nor call our vet this was going on.  You said you checked on him around 5 p.m. where he passed already.  How can you call your self a dog trainer letting my poor baby sick and suffering without calling for medical care nor us.  He could have been saved.  He just had his annual checkup three weeks before coming to you and was completely healthy. The pain, heartbreak and suffering I am going is unbearable.  More so, your inability as a professional to take responsibility of what happened blocking our phone calls and text rather than giving us the comfort and support we need during our loss. You have caused me such hurt, pain and heartbreak and we wish we never trusted you with him.  I will be grieving for my Redford for the rest of my life.  He was my everything and I miss him so much the tears will never stop. Since you are not returning our calls and text this is the only way communicate with you on how we feel and let everybody know what you did to be aware of what we had experienced with you. read more

As we came out of the pandemic, we noticed that our Frenchie had become very aggressive towards other dogs and passers by. His aggression escalated when we took him camping, and he snapped at some of our friends. Michael was referred to us by a local rescue group who uses him to work on hard to adopt cases. He worked with Duke, and us, and we saw improvements after just one visit. We implemented his advice during our training walks and have continued to take Duke several times per week for training. I took my Chihuahua puppy to Michael at the recommendation of my vet for socialization and training. Our elderly dog was exhibiting some aggression as a result of anti-seizure medication which caused increased anxiety amongst other side effects. It got to a point where we couldn't put her on a leash without her biting us, so we ended up ordering kevlar gloves just to be able to take her outside. I rescued a German Shepherd mixed with a Rottie over a year ago and we struggled with walking our dog because we understand we needed training as much as our loved one.
