Last year I paid handsomely for a Belgian Malinois female. She had a lot of medical issues not described in her veterinary record. She was in terrible pain when I i got her to our vet. Who was surprised to hear the dog was fed an all meat diet despite heR issues. The dog itself has high separation anxiety. Perry says to be fair to the dog but he is anything near it. He asked to take the dog back and give mE a new one; as if the damage to my dogs health esteem was ok. Anyway, don't fly to Canada. Don't wire Perry money. don't sign any shady contracts (he gives you a bad dog and then says you have 3 month to PROVE you need another). Don't even hear him out. Perry is a wonderful dog trainer, more importantly he trains you in all of the secret ways of how to work with your new dog. If you want to train your dog to do something special at home, you just follow the same things he taught you and they will learn how to do it. He will teach you the philosophy of dogs which is different than humans, how they learn, why they learn. He teaches you to understand the love and bond you will have with your dog and to pay attention to them when they subtly warn you of potential danger, like walking in front of you and stopping, telling you there is danger ahead. Perry loves his dogs and truly wants them to go to good, life long homes, not just a puppy phase home or a throw them out in the yard, Guard dog home. These dogs are family to him and he is placing them in your care, in your home to be with your family protecting you, loving you and God forbid give their life for you. His dogs can be as gentle with a child that is afraid of dogs just sitting on the floor being pet and the next minute stopping someone from getting in to your home (first hand experience). His dogs will walk by your side without a leash and never leave you, turn left or right, stop, jump over a wall, they are right there with you still on command doing every command you ask of them because they love you, not because they fear you. These dogs will be your best friend. The dog I have right now from Perry is Exo, you may see him on some of the pictures, an all black GS. He sleeps in our room, he checks the house several times a night, if I get up in the middle of the night he is there checking on me, if I tell him to stay, he stays, I walk all around him and he never trips me. He meets me at the couch to put on my shoes in the morning and walks me to the door. When we go for walks he doesn't pull on the leash, he doesn't spin out of his collar, he is right there beside me. He identifies problems ahead and looks to see if I see it. If I do not then he makes me aware of it, then I can either tell him to leave it or to watch it. I know this sounds crazy that a dog would do this but Perry's dogs do amazing things that you never knew you needed in your life. Exo and I are best friends and all I have to do is watch him as he is watches out for me. He is different for every person in the family according to our needs. My wife is more scared to be in public, Exo puffs up a little more for her and leans in to her to make her feel secure. My 80 year old mother, it is all business for her when we are out. He monitors everything to keep her safe. Getting a dog from Perry will be the best choice you have ever made. Wait untill you meet him and talk about dogs, you will see the passion in his eyes and the love he has for them. He will ask you some crazy question that you will think why is he asking me this? He is matching you up to the right dog and its personality that will fit your family or purpose. I mean the man can train a dog to either wait until you get in the door to bark or meet you at the door and not bark. The abilities are endless of what he has done and can do for you. He can take the dog for a walk and put him in the coffee shop on a down stay while people are walking everywhere, go to the restroom and come back and the dog will still be there unmoved. Ours will stay on the landing on a down stay while we have company for hours and never move. No more begging at the table or yelling at them to get down or leave the food on the table alone, you will never have that with his dogs. I think the best way I can explain what it is like to have a CCPD K9, is Perry trains them like a Spy. They are like a normal dog that plays with you and rolls over for your kids and is well behaved in public never shaken or stirred, all the while they are watching every threat around you and your family. With a seconds notice they are up to protect and defend on command, then right back to being a Spy. I am amazed every time I see it. I would not be here for my family if we hadn't gotten a dog from Perry all those years ago. We have been purchasing our dogs from Perry at Command control for 15 years. We love how well trained our dogs are! We are now enjoying our 4th dog. Our first dog, we made the trip to Canada to pick him up and get our training! It does not make any sense to have a highly trained dog if you do not know how to control it or meet its needs! First order of business was to introduce my 5#, 2 year old, very spoiled, Chinese crested powderpuff to a 125# German Shepherd. It was amazing to watch as Perry worked with us and both dogs and in a matter of less than an hour, they were friends! We got our protection dog Rocky, as an older dog. He was amazing and his skills were razor sharp. When we got Rocky, we were not even thinking that he would be responsible for literally saving my husbands life. Something that still gives me chills. Sure, I watched our dog go through all his commands and his bite work, but I questioned "what if"? Because it is not something you need everyday, and would Rocky remember the training? Perry assured me that he would. I wondered how such a sweet loving dog with a 5# powderpuff as a best friend would react if danger presented itself... then I found out...with precision... as promised! I researched personal protection dogs for several months before we purchased from Perry. I could list instance after instance with our dogs over the years that will keep us going back to Command Control Protection Dogs. The best reason? When I took my dogs in for their first annual vet visits, the first thing they asked "is it a trained dog?" and promptly handed me a muzzle! I was shocked! I just told you my dog was trained! It turns out, where I live there is a trainer whose dogs are what I call "environmentally mean". The owners have very little control, and the dogs are just mean to everyone but their owners. They bite out of fear. They should honestly not to be out in public. The techs at the vet office have been bitten by THOSE dogs numerous times and the breeder/trainer is local, so there are a lot of them here....NEVER ONCE has any of our dogs at ANY time, ever displayed that type of unwarranted behavior... and now that the vet's office knows these dogs are from a reputable trainer and more importantly know our dogs. They LOVE our dogs! We are welcome to bring our dogs to their office anytime, no muzzle needed! Every kid in the waiting room can pet and love on these dogs! The next best reason? I used a trained protection dog from Perry, for a therapy dog, at a behavioral health hospital. Well trained in the art of protection and a loving soul for those needing the warmth and comfort of unconditional love. I could be here all day with all of the amazing things that our dogs do on a daily basis, because of the training they have. Yes, our dogs eat frozen raw meat and fast once a week. We have fed expensive commercial bagged food, but our dogs on meat are much healthier and their coats are shiny and beautiful! We didn't just buy a dog. We bought a highly intelligent, well trained command controlled protection dog. We get support anytime we need it and anytime we have a question, all we need to do is email or call. Perry has been able to select a couple of our dogs without us "picking them out" because we filled out the questionnaire honestly and completely. He matches our household needs and personalities to his dogs. The result of that is we have dogs that are amazing... I only wish I could give him 10 stars! We have had association with 4 dogs over the past 15+ years,and WE plan on getting a shepherd sired by the latest one here pretty soon. i have pictures of my great granddaughter sleeping using a 100 pound shepherd as a pillow, and a 4 year old walking her dad's shepherd on a leash. Hello all i figured i would write a little bit here on my family's experience with CCK9 after reading all the other reviews and not just on yelp, M y family has always had german shepherds in the past since i was young growing up so now that i have a family of my own , our last special edition to the family was to get our own german shepherd, so luckily in todays day and age we can scour the internet and look for reviews that other people have left regarding there personal experiences, not like when we were young and to take the person at face value when you arrived after calling them on the landline lol , anyway small world but i recieved cck9 's phone number thru a friend whos aunt had at one time purchased a puppy from cck9 's wainfleet location, so I figured i would inquire myself seeing as it is much much closer than california ( how helpful) multiple locations can be, .I was with a colleague the other night and he was telling me how he has been leaving reviews and reading them for every single thing he does, so i know we purchased our dog a few months back but i figured maybe i should see the "online reviews" for cck9, i have read nothing but fantastic reviews until I stumbled on yelp to find chucho's review, in this case i would say DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ONLINE!! , so im happy to be contributing to this online review because my family's experience was definitely not what chucho says at all, Perry was more than happy to deal with us on the phone over and over as we lived a few hours away i kept calling and felt like i was bothering him , he was always more than helpful to answer all my questions which i had many but i wanted the best puppy we could get , trusting my friends aunt was all i was going on at first but like i said perry was very professional and considerate every time we spoke on the phone so i was definitely feeling like i was in the best hands possible and my mother being a dog breeder( small dogs tho) i knew after i spoke with perry about the particulars of these shepherds that he was on point and very knowledgeable, so the day came we went down to pick out our puppy after perry had spent alot of time sending us photos and making us really feel comfortable , upon arrival the property and establishment was very well kempt and professional, we met perry outside and he brought us into the training facility after having the consideration to ask us small things like how was our drive and such and welcomed us to the town and facility, which again just made us feel comfortable And confident we were making the right choice. Perry took us into the training facility to see the puppies, upon first inspection I noticed it was a very well kempt establishment, most dog training facilities and kennels usually have an somewhat unpleasant odor, this place was so clean there wasn't anything even like that at all, as far as im concerned " doesnt treat dogs well" pretty sure there livin in the tosh mahal lol from what ive seen over the years, so we ge our puppy and get to the paperwork part, what do ya know, all legal and legit! Perry took all the time we needed go over everything so we understood it all and what to expect with the next shots etc. So we have had our beautiful shepherd puppy for about 5 months now and she is literally the best well behaved , well manored, so smart and intelligent which does not come from bad blood lines, and great with the kids and cats to lol she has absolutely completed our family, we cant thank Perry enough for all his help through the entire process and i 110% recommended cck9 dispirite what you may read out there!!
