Our struggle: leash pulling, dog reactivity, focus & settling around people. This program taught me how to communicate with my puppy and let go of the worry that I cannot manage my puppy inside or outside my home. 1) The program: very thorough consultation where they listen to your needs and recommend what they feel is best with ZERO judgement and pressure. I went with day training w private lesson due to my work schedule. You get tools needed to replicate the training at home. 2) The trainers: Kind, adaptable, observant and very easy to talk to. There are multiple as well so there is no worry that your pup isn't getting their dedicated training time. 3) The environment: Clean, air conditioned AND smells really nice. They do coat and safety checks on your pup before each session too! The best part is it doesn't end after a few lessons, we get to continue working on skills in group and private sessions as needed, so he gets the exposure I otherwise wouldn't be able to provide by myself. With their help and consistency on my part, I see my pups future staying bright

The difference has been nothing short of incredible. My dog didn't just improve a little, the transformation has been complete. Behaviors that once felt impossible to manage are now consistent and reliable. What really stood out to me was how effective and structured the approach is. It's not just about teaching commands, it's about building communication, trust, and clarity between me and my dog. I feel more confident as an owner, and my dog is more relaxed, focused, and responsive. It's like we finally understand each other. I have so much more confidence to finally take HONRAY places I wouldn't have tried to before. I love the group of trainers at sgv!

Ian's training is completely different from anything I've seen. Instead of constantly depending on treats, he showed me how to use PLAY to motivate my dog and actually build engagement with me. I love that! And the squirrels omg! Ian showed me how to work with my pitties pray drive and make it fun for us. The difference in our walks has been night and day. I enjoy walking my girl so much! Her obedience is on point:) What I really liked is Ian doesn't just train your dog he puts the leash in your hands and teaches YOU how to handle your dog. If you've tried other trainers and still aren't getting results, give Keeper of the Dogs a shot. Ian's approach is different, and that's exactly what we needed. Ian truly cares, my girl and I are so happy.

Deku has been through a previous board and train, but I feel like that board and train mainly tackled his obedience, not his behavior issues. I let Ian know about all of this prior to boarding Deku and he made sure to explain his process with me. He also made me write down goals for Deku so that he can focus on them and make sure he tackled through them. I boarded Deku with Ian for 3 weeks and Ian made sure to send over progress pictures/videos every single day! I appreciated the content of Deku because that is basically my baby lol. There was a mid session where Ian taught me how to properly use the ecollar and showcasing what Deku has been up to the time he was with Ian. Deku was pretty much a different dog by the mid session, so it excited me to have him back after the 3rd week. The day I got Deku back, Ian showed me all of the progress and work Deku did and he was completely different. Deku stopped reacting towards people/other dogs and he was very obedient with following all commands! It's been almost a week now and Ian has checked in on Deku while he's been at home for the week and I also have follow-up sessions included in my service! I have been so happy with Deku is at! Before, I would be too scared to bring Deku out in public due to his reactivity/behavior, but I truly believe he is a completely different dog now, for the better! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Ian to EVERYONE. He is the real deal. I do feel like Ian knows how to connect with these dogs and emphasizes about how important relationships + communicating with your dog. Ian id the BEST!

When we started looking for a training program for Ruby last year, she was very dependent, anxious around other dogs, and struggled with listening to commands. Through a friend, we heard about Pack Pawsitive and were impressed with what was being taught here. When we were first introduced to the trainer Harmony, she was very kind and attentive and we knew she would make a difference in Ruby's learning experience. We loved reading through Ruby's report card at the end of each day and seeing what new things she learned! One of the best parts of Pack Pawsitive's programs is the digital resource library where we can refer to handouts and videos that throughly explained how we can continue to train Ruby at home. The in-person training sessions were also especially helpful, and Harmony was very insightful towards our questions and concerns. Seeing Ruby's growth week to week has been extremely rewarding and couldn't have been done without Harmony and the trainers at Pack Pawsitive. Ruby has become much more confident and focused, and has improved so much with socializing with other dogs. She learned new cues like recall, place, leave it, leash manners, and door manners which has made a great difference in our daily routines. With Ruby's newfound skills, we feel much more comfortable introducing her to new environments. Thank you to the team at Pack Pawsitive for providing a safe, caring, and of course positive learning environment for our pup! We're looking forward to solidifying Ruby's learning experience through the Enrichment daycare program.

She gives such great advice on how to properly train your dog without food incentives and shock collars! I was so amazed that I started telling a lot of my friends about it! I just finished my second session with Justine today and she was giving me tips and tricks on how to walk Bella without her pulling. By the end of the session I was walking Bella and Bella wasn't walking me! Justine truly cares for me and Bella and is very thoughtful on modifying things that help me the best! It's definitely worth the investment. I couldn't be any more happy and I would definitely recommend Bark Busters, especially with Justine, to everyone and anyone! Since then, we have done our best to train her (even hired a dog training company) and while she's been amazing to us, there have been some incidents. We tried to correct her behavior but we had to go beyond just correcting a behavior, we had to know the why. We needed a dog behaviorist. Enter Bark Busters and Justine! From the very first phone conversation with Justine, she told us about a dog's personality (the who) vs. a dog's behavior (the why). Was our dog just naturally an aggressive dog or was our dog showing aggression due to past trauma. After the initial phone call then came the in person assessment in our home, Justine knew our dog's personality was sweet and loving to us; however, due to her being a rescue, her past experiences led to trauma that led to aggressive behaviors towards others in certain situations. Moreover, during that first assessment, she educated us things we had no idea about or thought about with dogs as pets plus what we need to be and do as owners. Justine was and is exactly what we were looking for in understanding our dog and from there building the right relationship with our dog that will keep her and others safe. The business model and curriculum that Bark Busters and Justine have put in place is one of a kind and works from day 1. We have always wanted what is best for our dog and to give her the best life possible, especially because she is a rescue and her breed. Bark Busters and Justine continues to give us the tools in place to build the confidence and trust we have as owners in our dog and our dog has in us as owners. We are forever grateful to Justine and will recommend her and Bark Busters to anyone!

Emily is equally wonderful--warm, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. They both clearly love what they do, and it shows in every interaction. When I started, my almost 3-year-old pug mix, Fifi, struggled with barking, reactivity, separation anxiety, and had no reliable recall or response to commands. I was feeling overwhelmed, and even being at home had become stressful. While the training journey had its challenges, especially as a first-time dog owner with no prior experience, Chloe and Emily were there to guide and support me every step of the way. Their patience and encouragement gave me the confidence to keep learning alongside Fifi. The one-on-one sessions each week were invaluable, giving me the opportunity to receive real-time feedback in a supportive, judgment-free environment. The improvement in Fifi has been amazing. She's so much calmer, listens to commands, and we can finally take her out without worrying she'll bark at every person we pass. We actually enjoy our walks now, and even life at home is so much more relaxed. I can't thank Chloe and Emily enough for giving me the tools and confidence to help Fifi thrive. Rooted Dog Training exceeded our expectations.
