    Waiting patiently for treats!

If you're like me who relies on yelp to find where to get the BEST dog trainer/program California has to offer ... well look no further because YES dog training is IT! Amanda is highly trained and knowledgeable! She's super sweet and right off the bat you can tell that this is where her passion truly lies. She was so good to my puppers. At the initial consultation/meeting, within 30 minutes of one on one training trial, my 4 month old golden retriever went from cute but monster like behavior to ... well mannered sweet angel that knew commands such as "sit", "drop it" and "lay down". Her techniques are positive reinforcements and incorporated structured play but in a fun way. My fiancé and I opted for the board training; and yes although it was very difficult to be away from your best friend, it was definitely worth the wait! Communication was never an issue and her response time is impeccable. She continuously gave us updates and didn't mind me contacting her via video when my daughter missed her terribly. You can customize how long and what type of training you want and her prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend her!

Wow!!! I boarded my 9 month old puppy with Amanda 2 night and the dog that came home was not the same. My puppy is a 50lbs labrador that was very hard to manage and with 3 children I know I don't have the time the dog needs to become well manageable dog. After two night she has learned to stop pulling on a leash, she can sit, lay down, not to jolt out of the door, and to have low energy while inside. So much progress in such a short time!!! Making the decision to be separated from my puppy was not easy, but definitely worth it. I just booked 2 more nights with her and am so anxious to see the improvements. Thank you so much Amanda. You have not only improved my dogs life, but my life as well.

We found our sweet girl Micah Ellie through a San Diego Animal rescue as a 4 month old, underdeveloped pup. We knew right away, that we needed help with puppy management. Right from our first session of Puppy Basics, Amanda was so educational and informative from the get-go. She provided very helpful and educational training to get our Micah going on the right track. Every week, we really worked to implement the training goals and completed the additional fun games and socialization homework. Our very shy pup has become a playful and much more confident pup over the 5 sessions with Amanda! She really does teach very crucial skills and at the pup's pace - which we really appreciated. We learned how to practice and refine our skills with great feedback and communication from Amanda every week. Though our Micah initially started with some socialization challenges, with Intailigent's educated, kind, positive and gentle approach to training, consistent effort, and patience, we can definitely see a positive difference in our pup's overall behavior and confidence We are so excited to continue onward into the next round of training with Amanda soon!

Hi, we adopted an 18 month (?) Border Collie a week and a half ago. While he is still adjusting to his new home, we are leash training him. His biggest issue is a puppy biting which at 58 lbs is a problem. Is this something you can help us with?

Hello, yes it is. Because this is a herding breed, it should be considered the mouthing may also be out of frustration if there are no herding outlet activities for the dog. And I agree it could also be due to adjusting and stress considering the… Read more

Hi. I have a very timid older chihuahua and my husband has a 7 year old female husky. As of right now we keep them separate because the husky gets very aggressive with small animals. We would like to be able to leave them together at our home alone?

When we started looking for a training program for Ruby last year, she was very dependent, anxious around other dogs, and struggled with listening to commands. Through a friend, we heard about Pack Pawsitive and were impressed with what was being taught here. When we were first introduced to the trainer Harmony, she was very kind and attentive and we knew she would make a difference in Ruby's learning experience. We loved reading through Ruby's report card at the end of each day and seeing what new things she learned! One of the best parts of Pack Pawsitive's programs is the digital resource library where we can refer to handouts and videos that throughly explained how we can continue to train Ruby at home. The in-person training sessions were also especially helpful, and Harmony was very insightful towards our questions and concerns. Seeing Ruby's growth week to week has been extremely rewarding and couldn't have been done without Harmony and the trainers at Pack Pawsitive. Ruby has become much more confident and focused, and has improved so much with socializing with other dogs. She learned new cues like recall, place, leave it, leash manners, and door manners which has made a great difference in our daily routines. With Ruby's newfound skills, we feel much more comfortable introducing her to new environments. Thank you to the team at Pack Pawsitive for providing a safe, caring, and of course positive learning environment for our pup! We're looking forward to solidifying Ruby's learning experience through the Enrichment daycare program.

Our pug Boba, who is 6 years old, had a huge issue with barking and reactivity. Before training, anytime there was a loud noise, another dog, or even a person just a few feet away from us, he would immediately start barking and getting worked up to the point where he would do that pug scream, and no amount of reassuring would help. Walks were stressful and we constantly felt on edge trying to manage his reactions. Working with Yasin made such a difference. He was incredibly patient and really took the time to explain why Boba was reacting the way he was and what we could do about it. Instead of just trying to stop the barking in the moment, he helped us understand how to work through the behavior step by step. Everything he taught us felt realistic and doable in everyday life, which made it so much easier to actually stick with. One of the biggest moments for us was when we took Boba and his sister with us on a trip to Joshua Tree. Before training, something like that would have been stressful and probably not even enjoyable. But because of everything we learned from Yasin, it ended up being such a pleasant vacation. At one point we even stood and ate at a restaurant for almost two hours with multiple dogs around us, some of them were even reactive, and Boba was such a model citizen the entire time. It honestly felt amazing to see the difference. Because of Yasin's training, we actually feel confident bringing our dogs on vacations now, which is something we never thought we'd be able to do. Boba is a completely different dog in the best way possible, and we also feel so much more confident as owners because we now have the tools to handle situations that used to feel overwhelming. If you have a reactive dog or feel overwhelmed with training, we definitely recommend working with Yasin. He really cares about the dogs and the owners, and it shows.

Blue was three years old when I adopted him from the shelter and had been there for two years, essentially his entire life. He has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about his clients and their dogs. I truly wish I had found him sooner. I will continue working with Yasin and Empire K9 Dog Training to help Blue for as long as needed.
