Used to be a lot better. I know it's early in the season so I expected them to be small but all of mine were teeny tiny and way over cooked. Everyone in my table had over cooked crawfish with that rubbery texture. Also when I got my I crawfish they were like warm at best, not even hot. Only reason I gave 3 stars and not two was for the flavor and wings. read more

AMAZING crawfish! Perfectly seasoned, I love spicy and the spicy crawfish is perfected to the t. The crawfish comes out so fast. I add seasoning to my butter and go in on my food. The corn and potatoes come out delicious as well. One of my favorite places to get crawfish. read more

I had a friend suggest this place to me. I definitely like the sauce that they have for the crawfish. It was $5.99/lb. but it tasted FROZEN to me and NOT fresh. I wouldn't pay $5.99/lb for frozen crawfish EVER! Maybe they just mixed in a bunch of frozen ones but majority of them were not fresh. I know my crawfish! I will give them a plus for the sauce and the taste but not for the frozen crawfish. I would definitely come back to try them again since they are the closest to where I live now. read more

Maybe crawfish season is over, because the crawfish we got last night were surprisingly smaller than most other crawfish places. But it was very flavorful, liked the 10% check-in discount, and loved being able to BYOB and whatever other food/snacks you wanted from Ranch 99. Also had a bowl of LA special pho with a bit of every kind of pho meat - it was pretty tasty and I thought it was a filling break from the same crawfish flavor. We'll give this place another chance, but it may have to wait until the peak of the next crawfish season. read more

We get tired of waiting 2 hours for crawfish from the BCrab so we came here. Very fast and surprisingly good. The quality of the crawfish is hit or miss. One time they were as big as my fist and other times as small as a finger. The seasoning is delicious (if you like garlic and spice). Recommendation, leave it in the bag for a few minutes so the flavors can marinate and percolate. And be aware, they are very hot (temperature). Definite repeat. read more

I crave this place when I'm not in Houston. Most delicious crawfish ever! And they have Pho if you want some of that too. Great staff as well! MUST try! read more

Crawfish have such great flavor!! Some yummy craw daddy's! Delicious! Defiantly will be coming back! Crawfish were ready within no time! Hung out with some friends & drank a few beers & to make it better it's BYOB! So I don't have to pay 4$ for one single beer! Cheaaaaa that makes anything better! The only reason this place didn't get 5 stars is cause the place is small inside the 99ranch store! Needs to be a bit bigger for the amount of people that come here! But other than that, great!!:) read more

This review is ONLY based on their chicken wings. They will not give you two flavors on an order of 12 wings. BUT, I still award LA Crawfish 5 stars for their excellent wings. Their dry rubbed wings are the best in town, hands down. Nothing else needs to be said about this place. read more

Well I don't like craw fish I eat them wings but they are dry and insipid, my review is just on wings, my partner likes the craw fish from there read more

I had crawfish from here when it was off season n we had to exchanged it for something else. Wanted to try it one more time during active season. Terrible decision- the worst crawfish place by far this season ! The crawfish tasted like it was reheated multiple times. My friend and I ordered the glaring butter Cajun style - 2 lbs each (glad it was only 2lbs), along with an order of lemon pepper wings, waffle fries, and 1lbs of snow crabs to try. It came out less than 10 mins. The snow crabs & wings took a little longer. The crawfish did not taste fresh at all & it was small to normal in size. The only reason I'm giving it a two stars because of the snow crabs and wings. Both were fresh; seasoning was average. Waffle fries were over cooked. Our stomach are still aching and rumbling. Disappointed. read more

My wife got food poisoning from this location as i could tell the crawfish were not fresh. Do not go there

I used to live in Houston, TX and discovered this wonderful crawfish place I mean it was always the best of the best!! Now living in California and although tried crawfish in different restaurants I couldn't find the flavor I had here.. cant wait till I go visit Houston that way I can have some more at LA crawfish! People living in Houston are sooo very lucky to have this place read more

I love LA crawfish! I'm here atleast 2 times a week! The staff is awesome, food is great, and prices are affordable!!!

The seasoning on the crawfish was amazing..... but they were so overlooked the tails crumbled in the shell. ... Don't go out of your way.

Everything fresh flavorful and on point! Cheap Prices are a bonus! Great job please keep it up!!!!

The best crawfish in h-town ! I've literally tried every single restaurant that serves boiled crawfish and this is the BEST !

Best crawfish I've eaten in Houston. They're big and very tasty! Also, service is fast and easy.

This place is ok. Had spicy cajun crawfish, fried oyster basket, and fries. Wife had the crawfish pho. The crawfish were average. A little dry and not a lot of seasoning on the crawfish themselves. The corn was actually really good. The crawfish were also very very small. Oysters were pretty good, but had to much breading on them. The french fries are MONEY. Wife did enjoy the crawfish pho. Friendly staff. Get there early or you will be standing in line a while... read more

I just have to keep it real here....LA crawfish is one of the most overrated crawfish places in Houston. The crawfish were small and inadequately seasoned. It was made even less worth it by the fact that there is a huge line for dinner. If you're going to drive a bit to get crawfish...just go to chinatown. read more

Ok I called the next day and spoke with someone and she reassured me that they weigh it before adding in extra sides. Thank you for the free potatoes and for clarifying. I do appreciate your comment/reply which shows that you care about your guests/customers. read more

The first three times I came here the crawfish and pho tai were phenomenal! After that the crawfish was mushy and most of them were dead :( way too much grease and over seasoned with parsley. read more

The food is really good and the cashier Muffin is really friendly and helpful. I'd never been here before and she helped me get the best on the menu and I really enjoyed the food. 10/10 recommendation for the food and even better custom service. read more

This place is definitely the best crawfish place I've ever been to. I'm from Louisiana, so I've had quite the variety and this place takes the cake! Their crawfish is lavishly seasoned with butter and garlic and other ingredients that are mixed to perfection throughout the crawfish. The size also shocked me. They have bigger crawfish than any cajun restaurant I've been to around here. And if you aren't a crawfish lover...their wings are to die for! My kids loved their fries and noodles...any picky eater will find something to love. I highly recommend trying this place out! You won't regret it. read more

I am not writing the review for this location, the location near my house doesn't have a yelp page. But I was amused and impressed with the choice to fuse Vietnamese with Creole/Louisiana seafood. The food turned out quite well! I hope the location I went to remains in business. read more

I've had better seafood! Dallas has better Cajun seafood places! The crawfish were not that flavorful and it could use more kick. This place is overrated. Long line for not so flavorful food. read more

The beignets were AMAZING, but the garlic butter crawfish were way overcooked and the flavor was a little off.

My favorite place for crawfish, never disappoints! Their Thai chilli oyster presentation is also very good

No other way to out it other than they have the BEST crawfish in Houston; hands down! Their chicken wings are good as well, and their crawfish pho is addicting. My only complaints, they sell soda in cans and don't have a fountain for refills. Typically with spicy crawfish, I have to buy 2+ cans. Their seating area is very small and the associates that work for the 99 Ranch Market can make you feel uncomfortable for eating in the cafeteria when LA runs out of tables. They have signs saying its for cafeteria purchases only. In addition, not LA's fault, but the restroom at the 99 Ranch Market is ALWAYS dirty! read more

Worst place to eat crawfish at! Had a friend talk highly of it, so I figured I'd try it, but I definitely made a mistake. It was FOR SURE frozen crawfish they gave me, with some fresh. The seasoning was good, but you can't mask the taste of FROZEN REHEATED crawfish. Will never make the mistake of going here again. If y'all want EXCELLENT crawfish BB's is THE place togo. read more

Tried the Baytown location for the first time since me favorite spot was closed and was pleasantly surprised how good it was! The staff was friendly, the crawfish were BIG & the flavor was just right. Needless to say, I'll be back for more! read more

Have not eaten here in a couple of years so my wife and i decided to get a couple pounds for a quick fix! Sure enough it might be our last! Use to be our favorite but crawfish was literally bad like they were serving us spoil crawfish. read more

Wow some of the best crawfish I've had in Houston! The market price was 7.99/lb and it was worth it because these were HUGE crawfish! I ordered 3 lbs of the garlic butter and Cajun style (mixed) with 3 potatoes and 2 sausages for myself and I was getting full. I usually go to Hanks and eat 3 lbs with 4-5 potatoes and 3-4 sausages because their crawfish aren't that big so it takes more to make me full. Definitely coming back for more SOON!! Also want to try their crawfish pho, looked really good! read more

I love them! This is the one place that doesn't taste like oily crawfish! It's literally seasoning on every bite! I love their crawfish!

Had the crawfish and shrimp and it was out of this world. Wings were on point too! There is a ramen noodle restaurant right next to LA Crawfish that had a great spicy beef soup! Plus it comes on a hot bowl which was pretty cool! read more

This is the best crawfish in Houston in my opinion. The crawfish has great flavor and is not overcooked where the crawfish meat becomes soggy. It is inside the Ranch Market shopping center. read more

These folks really know crawfish. They made it so easy and stress free. I was having 50 ppl over to my house for a boil and never had crawfish delivered. It couldn't have gone more perfect. Arrived at my house at 10:30 am for Saturday delivery to south Florida. They were good size, no,dead, and we didn't have to throw out any. Delicious. I will always always use lacrawfish.com. read more

Three strikes and you're out. Sorry, but I thought maybe the last two times you guys just had a bad day or new staff and decided to give you one last try based on all the hype. Alas, I was wrong to think any better because once again the crawfish came out super tough, chewy and overpoweringly fishy. Sorry guys but there are so many better places in Houston that don't overcook their crawfish and use live Fresh crawdads. read more

Friends say their crawfish is good. I have nothing to compare it with, but I love their shrimp! We had a pleasant afternoon and conversations with a young couple sharing the table with us. I guess it's easier to make friends when you are sucking fingers and chugging Asian beers you got right there at 99 Ranch market. read more

So I went here expecting premium crawfish and I was let down. The crawfish are fairly small and we had half a pound of dead crawfish. They are not purged, and there's dirt all over them. The sauce is great but at $8.49/lb with all considerations, I'll rather go to BB's cafe. read more

The quality here has gradually decreased over the years. It has gotten to the point where its uneatable. Crawfish was small and mushy, must have been dead for a while before cooking. Unedible, had to throw away half of my order. Wings are tasty and good, but it is much smaller than Wingstop. read more
