Gerald (and maybe his team?) had responded promptly with price and what to expect. On the day of the service, he showed up on time and thoroughly inspected the space. Ran water tests, remarked on electrical panel & electrical outlets, tested dishwasher and stove, and checked on the A/C unit. My realtor was there looking around as well. Overall, I think the inspection went well and I was informed of things I needed to keep an eye on and little and big details that I may want to change in the future. I was purchasing an older home in Long Beach and I was worried that I was making a bad decision but there just isn't that many homes for sale in the area where I want to live. These guys were fast and efficient and totally professional and the inspector showed up early, gave an amazing summary at the end of the inspection and explained every little detail including significant findings I needed to be aware of right away. I received a very detailed report loaded with pictures and recommendations that clearly laid out everything I needed to know from basic maintenance to urgent safety issues. Same Day Mold Testing lives up to their name!…read more Jason was fast, responsive, and not only did he come the same day, he showed up within an HOUR of me calling! He was awesome. We weren't sure when our walls were going to be closed up after a remediation project, and we wanted to get a mold test just to confirm that everything was mold free. Our contractor let us know the evening before we called Jason that he was going to begin closing walls the next day, so I called Jason and he was unfazed by me giving him zero notice. If you get his voicemail which instructs you to go to the website to book, it's very easy and user friendly, but I wasn't sure exactly what I needed so I left a message and he called me back in minutes. He walked me through my options and then gave me a fair price for the services I needed that was on par with other vendors I reached out to. Other vendors who weren't available same day. ;) Jason arrived quickly on a Friday, was very kind and knowledgeable and explained what he was doing, and then turned our results around by Monday so we could proceed with closing all of our walls. So, I thought this company was no joke... Which was an about $30,000 mistake. As I paid the extra fee for the "pool/spa inspection". The inspector had zero idea what he was doing with the pool "inspection". The pool turned out to be completely compromised. The plaster lining has to be replaced because there are cracks so that are leak leaking behind the plaster. The entire filter and heater are compromised. Everything has to be replaced.

Sadly, he scheduled the wrong day and my agent went to the property and basically wasted the trip there since we had to reschedule to the next day. For me this wasn't a big deal since I didn't go out myself, but I felt bad that my agent wasted his time. Elias was very apologetic and even bought my agent a gift card as an apology. He totally owned up to his mistake and for me that speaks volumes about a person. The actual inspection was pretty good as far as I can tell, I'm not an expert on these kinds of things but the report was very detailed and had a lot of photos. He flew a drone up to the roof to take a look and even pointed out minor details like staining on the carpet that I honestly didn't catch when I saw the property myself. Seems like he used infrared to check for water leaks when inspecting the plumbing in the bathrooms and kitchen. In terms of pricing, he was one of the more expensive options but given the level of customer service he provided and the quality of the report I would say it's worth it. Overall, the experience with Elias was very positive and if I ever need inspection services again, he'll be the first I call.
