Tyler was willing to work within our time constraints and provided us with the information over the phone that we needed to make an informed decision on what inspection company to hire. After his inspection, he patiently took as much time as needed to walk through and to explain many of his findings that later he put in detail in his report. He thoroughly answered all our questions and concerns with the property and made sure we had them all addressed before he left. We came away not only with a quality home inspection at a fair price but also with recommendations to confidently go forward in making improvements to the structure and systems in our home to be up-to-date and safe. His report came within hours of the inspection and easy to understand. His efficient report contained photos of each item to be corrected which has been so helpful to identify each area needing attention throughout the renovation of our property. Thank you Tyler!

I was not in a hurry, but he emailed all the documents to me promptly. Most importantly, he did not try to convince me to inspect the popcorn ceilings in every room. I set up a project here in Yelp for pre-purchase Home inspections. I received about 4 answers…read morewithin a day and this Home Inspection Experts is the one that got my attention and trust right off the bat. The first message is very welcoming and they already tell you what packages they have with the prices and even extra services like termites and general pool inspection. No need for back and forth messaging asking for prices or your number for them to call. I checked their reviews and that's it, I decided I want their services. I messaged back and her reply is almost immediate at a very strange time. I think I messaged her late at night. I just copied and pasted their message to my agent and there, appointment is set. We chose the platinum so the sewer inspection will be included and additional pool and termites. During the inspections, the 2 inspectors came on time. Home inspections took about 2 and a half hours which is really good coz it means they check every detail. They delivered the findings verbally and the written report was sent to my agent and me the next day. I don't even know how to share to you the result because there's a lot. Just trust Home Inspection experts. They got you covered. I recommend this company 100%.

I was worried about potential mold during the phone call, and Brandon addressed those concerns onsite without aggressively trying to upsell us to a more expensive mold test. That gave me a lot of confidence that his recommendations were based on what he actually observed rather than trying to sell us additional services. After the inspection, he took the time to walk us through both the major and minor issues he found and explained what should be done to address them. We had a lot of questions, and he was clear and patient with us. Instead of just pointing out problems, he showed us what he saw and explained what could happen if certain issues weren't fixed. The inspection report was also easy to read and understand, which made it much easier to keep track of everything that needed attention. It had the same amount of detail with photos explaining the issue.

The difference between inspecting a home yourself and having a knowledgeable professional conduct the inspection is truly night and day. For first-time homebuyers especially, finding a home inspector you can trust can be challenging. With Brando, I felt confident that I was getting a thorough inspection and that my money was well spent. Nowadays, many inspectors rely on drones to inspect roofs and rooftop HVAC units, which can sometimes make it difficult to feel confident that everything has been properly checked. Steven, however, personally climbed up to the two-story roof and carefully inspected every corner. His attention to detail and dedication were truly impressive. He also speaks multiple languages, including Mandarin, which made me feel especially comfortable and welcomed. It was such a warm and wonderful experience! If I purchase any property in the future, Steven will definitely be my first choice for an inspector. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, trustworthy, and dedicated inspector. Thank you, Steven, for your outstanding service!

I hired Elite Group for a pre-purchase home inspection and unfortunately was very disappointed with…read moreboth the inspection and how my concerns were handled afterward. Shortly after moving into the home, I discovered several issues that were not identified in the inspection report, including a dishwasher door that drops open without proper resistance and a noticeably sloped kitchen countertop that causes water to run off the counter and onto the floor. I contacted Elite Group, provided photos, videos, and the seller's disclosures, and gave them an opportunity to review my concerns. Their response was essentially that the dishwasher appeared to operate normally during the inspection and that evaluating a countertop for slope is outside the scope of their inspection. They ultimately denied my claim and declined even a partial or goodwill refund of the inspection fee. I understand that a home inspection cannot uncover every hidden defect or predict future failures. However, these concerns were particularly disappointing because they involve readily accessible areas and components. In the case of the dishwasher, the company confirmed that the inspector actually opened and operated it during the inspection, yet the door issue was not identified. What disappointed me most is that I paid for a professional inspection specifically to help identify potential issues before closing, when I still had an opportunity to negotiate repairs or credits with the seller. Discovering these problems only after taking possession meant that opportunity was gone. Based on my experience, I did not feel that the inspection provided the level of thoroughness or peace of mind I expected from a professional pre-purchase inspection. I also found the company's resolution disappointing, as they ultimately relied on the limitations of the inspection to deny responsibility and offered no refund or goodwill accommodation. I would recommend that future buyers carefully understand exactly what is and is not included in the inspection and independently test important appliances and other functional items before removing contingencies or closing.
