on 05/14/2025 my tenant complained that his unit has mold, and told me that I need provide him free accommodations and renovate his unit. I was able to book an inspection within two days of my initial contact after Sam's clear and timely communication. He was on the site early, checking the outside while we were looking inside. When he discovered there might be asbestos in the attick, Sam was able to take a sample and submit to the lab on the same day (asbestos testing is an additional service, not a part of general inspection). I received the inspection report from him on the same day and he rushed the lab results for us as well. It was easy to make the payment as multiple methods were available. I live in an apartment complex that was built in the early1970's and was known to have asbestos in the walls. Which usually isn't a problem unless the walls are disturbed. I had a leak in bathroom sink that went into the wall. Maintenance said they would need to extract the wall, repair any damage and replace the wall. So, I had to move out while they fixed this. When the work was done, I was concerned there might be asbestos dust in the apartment and on my furniture. And what made me even more concerned is that I have cancer, so I really needed to be reassured that there wasn't any asbestos in my apartment. That's when I started calling around to a few asbestos testing companies. The first one sounded reputable, but with cost per visit and cost for each sample taken and air sample it would have been a lot. And the report would take 2-3 business days. The second place I called was reputable too, but again with all the costs it would be pretty expensive. That's when I decided to call one more place and found Interlink. I called and spoke to Sam. Sam was so upfront and honest about what needed to tested and what didn't. His pricing was reasonable, so I felt so comfortable going with him especially because he used to be a state inspector and now he owns his own business for over 20 years. Sam came out the next day.
