All you are seeing is true, Aris is a home inspector of a different level. The man has a keen eye/experience/equipment and takes the time to inspect many parts of a home down to even the small details. I had my home inspected over a month ago and recently closed on it. I will be reviewing Aris' report again and again as I go through all the smaller things that may need attention. Request a sample report from him if you want an example, and you will be a little daunted at first sight like I was. But take the time to read through what is in there and you will start to see the details that are being pointed out and it won't be as scary as the initial look:) If you just want an "easy to read report" that just gives generic statuses as "serviceable", go with any of the bigger companies who do home inspections. If you want a detailed report to understand what the inspected home is about, have Aris do the inspection. More detailed inspection/report at a good price is what I got from NCSI/Aris. Will get my referral to anyone in need of home inspection! read more

Almost a month since I filed a BBB report on NCSI/Aris Lopez. I just got a notification from BBB that HE/HIS FIRM have ignored any contacts from the BBB. I will be filing with the FTC, and would sue him in Small Claims Court. Yes, compared to a house $400 is small change - but the stress and frustration of losing your "dream home" because of his scheming self can never be paid back! read more

They're great!!!! Recommend. My wife and I needed a last minute condo inspection and while Aris was booked, his incredibly knowledgeable son, Joshua, was able to squeeze us in less than 24 hours after our initial phone call. Joshua was great! Smart, patient, detailed, great memory, and made us feel comfortable. We're 1st time homebuyers so we wanna get this right, and Joshua made us feel good the whole time, while being completely honest with his detailed assessment. He checked every light, every appliance, used FLIR for every wall and the bathrooms, took apart the circuit breaker to peek inside, took us on the roof, checked the external electrical meter, and a ton of other things. He gave us a solid two hours, answered our questions, our realtors questions, and promised us the detailed report in 24 (to at the very worst 48) hours. He showed up on time, was polite, kept everything clean and didn't bump any walls (which has always been a pet peeve of mine). The reviews didn't lie, this company is legit. And having called 5 places, moderately priced. The lowest I found was $250, the highest was $550, and they were right in the middle. read more

Our realtor recommended Aris from NCSI for our home inspection. As a first time homebuyer, this portion of the purchase process can be quite a daunting experience because I have absolutely no prior knowledge of what an inspector should be looking for and if I would need to be responsible to point out anything wrong I saw myself. It was not the case, in fact the exact opposite working along side with Aris. Aris is super detailed and honest about everything he noticed about the house. He is very updated with all the city regulations and communicated the whole inspection process very professionally. It was quite an educational experience for me! One thing I thought was really cool, is all the techy gadgets he brought with him. He showed me the water moisture level inside the walls with this radar gun and even flew a drone up to the roof to capture aerial shots of any roofing issues. Not sure how many inspectors out there takes time to explain and show all this to their client while on the job! In conclusion, I am very impressed by Aris's work. His price is great! His expertise and honesty are priceless! I am reaffirmed by him before we parted ways that working with NCSI meant I become a part of the NCSI family and they always take care of family. I can confidently say they earned this 5 star review. Thanks again! -Happy Customer :) read more

NCSI - Aerial Drone used for roof inspection portion! - Home Inspectors Near Me - Los Angeles, California

When we started the process with NCSI, we saw the 5-star reviews on yelp and also the strong reviews on another real estate site. The initial sales call and marketing was great with talk about drones, robot crawlers etc. He required up front payment via PayPal, though not as a service. I gave him the benefit of the doubt here understanding the risks involved, but if you deal with NCSI I would highly advise against it. Payment was collected up front, and being over $400 dollars, was on the more expensive end. Aris showed up to the actual inspection, albeit very late, but it seemed to go smoothly. We were given the 48-72 hour time frame, and after 5 business days we received no report. We contacted him, provided an additional 2 days to complete the report. This only led to a series of excuses, and no report ever provided to us. After finally talking with him, he sounded apologetic, and told us that he would provide a refund. However, this was just followed by an additional week of excuses with no refund provided. read more

HE SCAMMED A CHURCH! We contacted NCSI aka Mr. Aris Lopez regarding getting an inspection on property our church was considering for purchase as ministerial housing. Mr. Lopez was great on the phone. We set an appointment and we made arrangements on paying his fee. Mr. Lopez and an associate came and inspected the property spending two hours doing so. We paid him as requested doing so in good faith. That is where the great service ended. we set this appointment up for June 22, 2016 and to date we have not received the report. We have called on numerous occasions and emailed as well. All to no avail. We have not received the report that was to take 72 hours max. While Mr. Lopez may be great at inspecting a property, he is horrible at producing a report. We will be seeking legal action against Mr. Lopez and NCSI Home Inspectors. While $400.00 may not seem like a lot of money to others, it is to a religious organization. We can't afford to have money that was given in faith by our congregants be STOLEN through bad business practices. read more

I didn't use this service this time around quite frankly because I didn't need to! I recently purchased a condo and noticed an unusual smell lingering throughout the unit every time I walked in. I couldn't put my finger on it because it didn't smell like natural gas, but it was pungent and irritating. I did what every homeowner does and tried to diagnosis the problem via Google (because with Google, who needs a specialist??) Boy was I wrong. I suspected first that it was mold because there were some traces of previous water damage. Then I deducted that it was formaldehyde because I had cheap engineered hardwood floors probably from China. Then I decided it was more likely a gas leak from my fire place. Sounds good. 3 probable issues, no confirmed sources. I came across NCSI through it's stellar Yelp reviews. 5 stars across the board? Please. I've met too many businesses that coax and persuade their customers to leave them 5-star reviews for special discounts or whatnot. Then I scanned the reviewers to see who actually had a history of leaving decent reviews - yes I am quite meticulous when it comes to researching the legitimacy of a business. Seems legitimate. I sent an email to Aris at 11pm after frantically researching for someone to evaluate my scenario as quick as possible. He returned me email the next morning at 5am (talk about prompt service) and told me, "As much as I want your business, let me try to narrow the source down before you spend your money." That alone was a line and sinker. I have rarely met a service business that would offer advice and help without payment. Most service driven businesses I have dealt with try to force their services on you and then tack on extra costs. Aris didn't. He asked what kind of flooring I had because there could be a chance the smell was from the formaldehyde used in manufacturing laminate floors (see, I was somewhat right!). Came back and told him I had hardwood floors, so he threw that source out of the picture. He politely suggested to contact the Gas Company to have them send someone out to do a free air quality test. Took his advice and low and behold, it was indeed a subtle gas leak coming from my fireplace. Again, while I didn't use his service, he can be sure that I will call him for any home inspection issues I may have! Thank you again Aris! Your honesty and integrity can't be beat! read more

Airs was awesome!! He inspected the house I had put an offer on back in April .As a first time buyer he took extra time to explain to me all the issues and why they needed to be addressed. Very friendly and easy going. A good thorough inspection takes a few hours and he was a pleasure to hang out with during that time. Aris was in no rush and had no problem answering all 10 million of my questions. Great experience all around! read more

Today is day 6, and still no inspection report from Aris. Refuses to answer phone calls and respond to e-mails now. He was 45 minutes late to the inspection, and his assistant was undoubtedly unlicensed and appeared to be someone hired at random; he barely spoke English and giggled for 2 hours straight without providing any valuable insight about the property. Requested a full refund. Filing multiple complaints and will take Aris to court. read more

Aris did a phenomenal job at our home inspection. He goes above and beyond what most home inspectors do (including ones that have 5 stars on yelp). We had scheduled Aris for a Saturday appointment and an emergency came up (pretty big) so we were going to fine another inspector that could make it due to our contingency period running out. I didn't feel comfortable with any of the others I spoke to. When I was asking someone else about the machine that allows you to look in the wall he stated he didn't do that because it's not required. At that moment I knew I needed to wait for Aris because I wanted someone who wouldn't do just what was required. I wanted someone who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good purchase. After all this is a HOUSE not a pair of shoes! Aris took the time to personally call me prior to our appointment and we discussed everything for almost an hour. He really made sure I was comfortable and explained all of what he would do. The day of I couldn't be happier. He was so thorough and identified every single thing we would need to fix and he patiently walked us through everything. If it weren't for Aris we would have ended up buying a lemon. The house needed a ton of work and it was expensive work. We put our house buying on hold for now but will only call Aris in the future. THANK YOU ARIS, you're the BEST! read more

If you're looking for the best home inspector on the PLANET, do yourself a favor. Just STOP what you're doing and place a call to Aris Lopez. I know you don't know me, but TRUST ME, from one honest human being to another, your search is over!!! Since I met him just a month ago, I cannot even begin to tell you how many people I have told about this man! I can assure you, once you have dealt with Aris, you will be a customer for LIFE. I work in a service industry, so I am not at ALL easily impressed when it comes to a service-oriented business, but I know knowledge, experience and expertise when I see it and any aspiring homeowner can NOT do better than to hire Aris to inspect his or her home! Aris came out today to inspect another home in which I was interested. BOY, was this inspection different from the last one (not in terms of the quality of Aris's work, which was every bit as thorough as the first time he did an inspection for me, but, fortunately for me, in the results of what his inspection turned up!!) It looks like I am going to be buying a home soon! You can read my previous review for more details, but I am here to tell you that Aris could easily charge three times the fee that he asks and he'd still be worth every single penny. I honestly feel as though I have grown in leaps and bounds in the past few weeks in terms of what to look for in a home, and a HUGE portion of the credit for my education belongs to Aris. Friendly, courteous, honest, prompt (actually early!), well-equipped, knowledgeable and professional, with prices so unbelievably low compared to the value he adds . What's not to like??? Thank you beyond what words can ever express, Aris. You are a stalwart of truth and I feel confident placing my family's future in your competent hands! read more

We used NCSI for our home inspection, from the recommendation of our realtor, Kevin, and couldn't have been happier with the service we received from Aris. Aris was nice, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He knows all the current standards. His inspection was thorough from bottom to top (he even used a drone to take photos of our roof). He went through all the rooms and even climbed up into the attic. He used his special equipment to detect heat and see through the walls. The same evening, he provided a highly detailed, full electronic copy of my home inspection report, even with lots of photos and graphics of recommendations. A few weeks after I moved in, I noticed something, and I was able to call him back up for some professional advice. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a home inspection to use Aris at NCSI. read more

We had Aris inspect our second home purchase and as before, we had both a great service experience and value from his expertise and simple-language explanation afterwards. Besides all the high tech equipments that we loved such as the infared scanner for things behind structures and the aerial drone used for the roof inspection when not accessible, the final inspection report and follow-up verbal explanation in simple terms helped us clearly understand the conditions of the home. And best of all, the practicality! Aris would break down all the safety items that should be fixed and big ticket repair items that can be leveraged in the price/repair negotiation. We found this summary invaluable in our transaction. read more

Aris is a gentleman, a professional and a damn great inspector! I not only found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable but very easy to talk to, he walked us through the inspection and didn't try to put fear into us just give us the facts and tell us what can be done to fix them. He was also very flexible as we had an issue with our agents and the seller not getting back to us when they were meant too and Aris was very understanding with the 24 hour notice to postpone the inspections. We ended up not closing on that property but now have our inspector for life. We will no doubt call him the next time we need a home inspection. He is awesome... and also a dog lover, what more could I ask for of his services. Polite, thorough, professional, intelligent, awesome equipment, loves dogs and also had a great assistant to help out. Thanks Aris! read more

Are you looking for a property inspector? Congratulations, your search is over. We were in escrow on a property, and asked Aris to do a home inspection. He was very thorough with his assessment, took the time to explain in detail the pros and cons of the property, provided us with an in depth report and left us with no doubt that every inch of the property had been carefully assessed. Aris was very confidant but also very approachable, and did an excellent job. Very professional - you will not find a better property inspector. read more

Aris is extremely helpful and loaded with knowledge and resources. An absolute must for your rolodex if you ever own property. Also, he has all the latest tech gadgets that see through walls (moisture etc), drones for arial inspection/photographs, remote controlled equipment for inspection/pics under your house etc. Very thorough. read more

I have used Aris three times so far. Twice for a home inspection (one fell out of escrow, after Aris found so many things wrong with the house) and once during the "walk through". He is knowledgeable and gives you useful tips on home ownership and maintenance of your home. Aris is also great at explaining things and is ALWAYS available to answer questions via text, call or email. We found having Aris at the "walk through" to be very helpful and advantageous specially since the seller did not do a good job on "fixing/repairing" items (FYI: have Aris come for a re-inspection after the seller agrees on fixing items so you know for sure if what the seller/agent is saying is accurate and fixed correctly). Lastly, Aris brought along his associate, Joshua during the walk through and we found Joshua to be knowledgeable, helpful and patient. A great team! Overall Aris and Joshua are my go to guys. I highly recommend them. My realtor even commented that she would recommend NCSI because of his professionalism, knowledge and gadgets. Thank you NCSI, Fara read more

I would highly recommend NCSI for your home inspection any time any day. Aris is very detailed very professional. He arrives early. Has a good assistant with him. Gave verbal reports alongside the inspection and offers clear helpful advices. With the gadget he uses, his aptitude, his attitude, I can tell you he knows what he is doing and is on top of his game! I am extremely happy with his service. It is money well-spent! 5 Thumbs up!!! read more

Aris is by far (very far) the best inspector in California. I have worked with many home inspectors and he is absolutely amazing, professional, responsible, hard-worker and always kind. It would be under extreme almost impossible circumstances that I will ever work with anybody else. Thank you Aris !! Looking forward to keep working with you. read more

Absolutely highly recommend this group of professionals. I give the NCSI team 10 stars but only 5 are available here. Why? Because this team know what they are doing. They know every angle of inspecting a building and know what to look for. I purchased a commercial/residential building in March and couldn't find anybody that would fit my busy schedule. Aris and his team fitted me in their busy schedule and as a good professional, was there before time. Extremely friendly but most important, very knowledgeable to the point that if you are there (which I recommend you do. You'll learn alot) he will explain things to you with such tranquility and assertiveness. You will be amazed by the high tech devices they carry (including drone, which they used to inspect my 2 story property). They do not leave any nook or cranny unchecked or stone unturned. They really look out for the interest of the buyer. Thank you Aris and please forgive me as this review was waayyyyyyy Over due. But here it is! And thank you so much. God bless you, your family and your business. Keep up the fantastic work! read more

I used these guys for a few different properties and Aris the owner is really cool but the last two inspection I never revived the report which I payed for. The Best Best Inspector. Very detail and explain all the place and condition of the house. Very very detail report and sent to you the next day. My wife search yelp and find Aris to help us inspect the house. He explain the whole house very clearly. And one more thing I like him is : he is very fair when explain the condition of all the place. He won't worry the seller or buyer agent are there. He just work for his client. My wife and I are in the process of purchasing our first home. Based on the reviews and comments on Yelp we decided to go with NCSI. What a great choice we made. Aris is truly one of the most genuine men we have ever met. The report itself is incredibly detailed and has been very helpful for our negotiations. But back to the man. Aris made us feel very at ease and took the time to explain any and all questions we had. If you need a home inspection you really cannot do better than NCSI. read more

Potential homebuyers beware! Aris collected payment (which was on the pricier end of the spectrum) before confirming my appointment and subsequently completed my home inspection as scheduled on 6/24. He was very friendly and explained some of the concerns he had with us on the spot. At the end of the appointment, Aris stated that he would complete and send the report within 24-48 hours. When I had not received the report by 6/29, I started to worry. I left multiple voice messages and emails between 6/29 and 7/1, but did not receive a response until midday 7/1 after leaving a message warning I would revoke payment and leave feedback on yelp due to lack of communication. Aris reported that he had been in the hospital without access to a phone, but had instructed his associates to send the report which he claimed had already been completed. Aris was apologetic for their delay in sending the report and assured me I would receive it before the end of business that day as he had been released from the hospital. As of today (7/3), I have not received the report and NCSI has failed to return any of my phone calls. I am extremely disheartened as Aris' reviews are some of the best for inspectors in this area. However, upon further review I now see that many of these are quite dated. NCSI's repeated failure to meet their own deadlines is appalling. Furthermore, their inability to consistently communicate with potential homebuyers whom are in vulnerable positions by deferring to NCSI's professional expertize and thorough reports to make a huge life changing purchase is extremely unprofessional. I caution anyone who considers using Aris and NCSI to heed my experience and consider exploring other options. read more

The experience with Aris was flawless from beginning to end. He was incredibly prompt in returning my inquiring when I reached out for his services. He arrived early to the inspection site and made sure to explain the whole process. He even asked how we would prefer to hear the information as the owners of the home were still home during the inspection and he wanted to make sure we were comfortable with how we received the information. He is incredibly knowledable and knows all the codes and law surrounding electricity, permits, ect. We are first time home buyers and his inspection saved us from making a HUGE mistake in purchasing a home that had outdated electricity, mold and a dangerous foundation. We really owe him and will be reaching out to him for our next house inspection in the future. read more

A+ for Aris Lopez! Excellent professionalism, knowledge, and personality. When you're new at the home buying experience it can be difficult and scary to know who to trust with something as important as a home inspection. Aris made us feel comfortable and was very thorough with everything and not once did we feel overwhelmed even with some of the "not so great news" in the home. We will definitely be recommending NCSI and Aris to all of our friends and family. If you're searching for a great home inspection company stop your searching and call NCSI! read more

I have never written a review...either too busy or simply couldn't be bothered...but I feel compelled to write one to share my positive experience with everyone at NCSI, from Aris, the owner, to Randy his associate and Anna, office support staff. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations... to begin, Aris returned my call after regular business hours because he missed my initial call due to phone issues. This act of consideration and courtesy impressed me and it continued throughout the inspection process. On the day or inspection, Aris and Randy arrived before our scheduled appointment...I'm sure because one can never predict traffic and travel time in LA... : ) Only because I had to go outside to my car did Aris come over to introduce himself. I asked him why he didn't come to the door and he responded he didn't want to disturb me until our scheduled appointment! During inspection, Aris and Randy patiently answered my questions and explained everything in 'layman's" terms. I never felt rushed or that they were watching the clock. Aris' written inspection report was very extensive, detailed and thorough. Needless to say I highly recommend anyone looking for a home inspection to avail themselves of NCSI's services. They are highly experienced, professional, trustworthy and honest. read more

it's a darn shame yelp limits you to five stars because once in awhile, not often, but once in a rare instance, a business TRULY deserves more. Aris was amazing....I mean I think everyone who's worked with him agrees so maybe I should just cut it here...jk We were referred here from another business since they couldn't accommodate our crazy turn around. We were in an extremely competitive bidding war and ended up getting our bid accepted on a friday night, and most businesses are closed over the weekend so come monday morning, i reached out to aris and told him that we have a 7 day inspection contingency window and needed to schedule an appt immediately. not only was he able to accommodate that he also got out our report that same night! we can't say how much we appreciate that bc the report yielded HUGE, EXPENSIVE, BIG TICKET items that quoted up to 30K. We also realized that we needed to schedule a sewer scope at the suggestion of aris and that yielded that our sewer is shot that the pipes are misaligned and roots are growing into them. that quoted around 13K. Needless to say, we walked away from that deal since the sellers were unyielding in how much they can help us. Aris, you saved us from buying a house that would've been nothing short of a money dump. He even personally called us right before sending the report since we are first time buyers and I kind of had a minor freak out during the inspection since a lot of stuff seemed wrong. He personally reassured us that while it's common to find a lot of stuff wrong, there are only a few huge things to concern with. which ultimately led to us walking away from a seemingly "hot" house...a hot mess is more like it. anyway, we CAN'T wait to have aris come inspect the next house we buy. You are an absolute pleasure to work with, endlessly patient and very clear in explaining things in terms that I can understand. ALSO! i forgot to mention, because the appt right before us was a huge complex, aris had 2 other associates with him since they were all coming from that appt so our inspection actually had 3 inspectors! I'm not saying to expect it, but I mean he could've sent them home but we got 3 sets of eyes doing the work. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. this is truly above and beyond service and you'd be CRAZY to use someone else for your home inspection. a millions stars for NCSI! read more
