I'd give the nail technician name Lee ZERO stars. Maybe the other technicians are better but I was extremely disappointed with the older lady who did my gel manicure. I've never experienced such poor quality work where one of my nails was in pain after the service was completed. She only used the dremel tool to erase the previous gel on my nails and kept filing it aggressively throughout the session. What's more aggregating is having one of my nails breaking in half after just one day!! I can understand at least a week but this isn't expected within 24 hrs. And if you look at the pictures, you can easily tell how sloppy she did my nails. Will not be going back here. read more

The nail technicians were very nice and the lady who did my daughter's nails did an amazing job. My mani pedi was average but a mediocre paint job on my nails. I forgot my phone which also has my id and credit card in the hotel (across the street). I told the lady doing my nails at the beginning but when I went to check out a third lady had a huge issue with it. Embarrassed and on my mind already throughout the service I explained I needed to be right back with my card. She asked me who was staying? (It was me and my 8 year old daughter) I understood I was asking for grace in this situation but I had cash that I had generously tipped the ladies already and showed the key card that the hotel was across the street and I would be right back. I offered my phone number and she asked what are you leaving of value? I ended up leaving my car keys which didn't seem to satisfy her but it was all I had. I was NOT leaving my 8 year old daughter. When I came back, less than 10 minutes later, I paid (I believe I paid a slight $2 premium plus .75 credit card charge) and was on our way. The lady who originally was asking for collateral never acknowledged my presence when I came back to pay. While not an ideal situation I felt it was a bit out of place when I had a plan to pay and didn't have excessive services. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! I would give this place ZERO star if I could. It is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I still feel TERRIFIED when I think about my experience. I came here after seeing all the positive reviews. I was helped by an older Asian female nail tech and asked for a regular manicure with gel removal. TLDR: Left this place with ruined, brittle, uneven nails. Dry hands for the next few days from acetone soak. RUINED $150+ coat. She started by placing both of my hands in WARM BOWL OF ACETONE to remove the gel. She didn't even warn me that the bowl contained acetone so it got to my coat sleeve. It was hard to breathe as well because the acetone vapor was so strong, so I had to hold my breath a couple times. Then, she only used the dremel bit to remove old gel from my nails. She just kept drilling non stop, and I felt my nails getting warm and painful. I left and paid after she applied nail polish. I went home and saw that my nails were so bumpy so I immediately removed all the polish. My bare nails look so HORRIBLE and RUINED. There was so much unremoved gel on both hands. She filed too much and my nails were so UNEVEN and THIN. My entire hands were so dry for the next few days since she left my hands there for at least 10 mins. Not only that, my $150+ coat is ruined from the acetone discoloration. I told all my friends to run from this place. I didn't even bother to complain to the owner because I don't think she will pay for my jacket and it is discontinued. I saw another review that mentioned an older nail tech. It sounds like the same person. I came here the end of 2021 and the review was from 2 months ago. If the owner is reading this, pls do something with her and train her properly. read more

Updated review - still love this place. I've been coming a lot less as I am a new mother and don't have time like I used to. Still lots of selections and great employees, but the last two times I love the end result but ended up disappointed. In November I came in for a pedicure and gel manicure, the gel chipped in a few days... the expectation of getting gel is that it's going to last at least two weeks, otherwise I'd get regular polish. I came again over the weekend and this time I got crystal dip as it supposed to last longer. Two chips by the third day... very disappointing. It was a $60 manicure... I don't have time to go back and fix as I know it'll be a process, removing, RE-dipping, painting etc. I will not give up on this salon but I felt this updated review as necessary considering this was the second time I was dissatisfied. Initial review - Love this place. Always efficient and timely. However today was a little different. I called ahead as I do not like waiting, I am also 8 months pregnant so sitting down for too long is quite uncomfortable - and they told me to come in. I got there and noticed all their techs were busy and there were 3 people waiting. I considered leaving but told myself I'd give them 20 min before I left. Thankfully Jimmy saw me for my fill in the 20 min grace period, loved him and loved how my nails turned out - he suggested the "Hailey Bieber" since I have my baby shower next week I went shorter than my usual long length (as I won't be able to have long nails with the babe) but didn't ask at the time the cost to go shorter (due to reshaping) as I figured it couldn't be more than $5 (if any cost was to be applied). Took him about an hour (super efficient) and I loved everything (shape, length, color, grinding my under nails, and great conversation). By the time he was done I still had to get my pedicure which I wasn't expecting to have to wait as they typically do both together, but they were busy. read more

Don't come here for eyebrow waxing! I went in on Thursday to get my eyebrows waxed for my daughter's promotion and left with my eye lids burned. I've been there twice before and didn't have any problems but the lady that waxed them this time, cleaned my skin with alcohol or acetone, waxed my eyebrows AND THEN PROCEEDED TO WIPE MY RIGHT LOWER EYEBROW WITH THE ALCOHOL/ACETONE and was surprised when I reacted to my skin burning! She apologized, but then continued polishing my toes and left them streaky and my toenails are not even shaped nicely. Today, however, I found that the normal $35-38 price that I pay for services was up-charged by 40% because my underarm hair was "too much." She essentially doubled the fee in the pamphlet. This was not hair that has been growing in for a year; it was not inches long. This arbitrary yelling of prices as the worker dictates across the store and questions being waved away with a dismissive "well it's a you-problem" attitude is neither professional nor acceptable. To add insult to injury, both underarm areas are painful and very red. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I do not recommend you come here unless you are willing to pay random prices for subpar work. read more

I AM NOT JUST OBSESSED, I'M BEYOND OBSESSED WITH THIS SET!!! I came to this salon 3 weeks ago to get gel extensions and a pedicure. The manager, Cindy, was so welcoming and accommodating. My gel extensions were done by Karen. She was so patient and made sure that I was 100% satisfied with my nails. I'm not sure who did my pedicure but she was also very patient and even helped me choose the color because I was so indecisive lol. 3 weeks later my extensions are still GOOD, no lifting or breaking! After checking in, we had a very short wait, maybe about 3 minutes while they finished up other customers so we could have 2 side by side massage chairs. The staff are very nice and welcoming, and the manager has this place running very smoothly. The staff are eager to chit chat with customers, even while paying attention to detail. Very glad that my girlfriend makes me come here every so often because I enjoy it every time (part of it is getting to practice my Vietnamese with someone who isn't a family member.) I have been her multiple times and have rec'd good service, so I'm not sure why today was so different. The salon had 2 people in pedicure chairs and 2 at the nail stations. We signed in & was hoping to get 3 services. No one looked over, no one acknowledged that we were even there....so we left. If you try this nail salon, hope your experience is better than mine. Ok. I recently went in and got a pedicure and OH MY GOSH. I'm not sure what the ladies name was, but she was a little older.. she made fun of me clipping my own nails, she watched the tv while giving my "massage" (If you can call applying lotion with no pressure a massage) didn't set a timer for the "massage" and was done very quickly, cut me a few times when trimming the cuticles (then laughed and said I needed to relax, that's why she cut me.. like it was my fault!) the pumice stone had no muscle behind it and I still have rough heels, then she globbed the polish (GEL!) all over like it was her first time.. I'm shook. Jimmy was doing my nails and we were talking so I didn't really notice the HORRIBLE gel application until I got home, but if I'm walking out of a facility paying $110 before tip... it SHOULD NOT look like this.. also was NOT offered a discount for bleeding.. Replying to Cindy: I've been to your place more than 5 times and each time (except the last one) i had to ask again to fix their work bc it never seems professionally done. The ONLY reason why I didn't ask this time was that i realize it's not my job to ask a technician to "use the cuticle gel" or "remove the unfinished paints that are on my fingers". There should be better training for the technicians at your place so that customers wouldn't have to feel the need to ask for redoing the work ALL THE TIME. Lastly, if your place charges extra for a cuticle removal, your technician should not let me go with these nails as these pics show... But, thank you for clarifying the price breakdown. I wasn't even informed of the breakdown when i paid. It cost more than I expected. Went in today with my 6 year daughter. I got a basic pedicure, which was priced at $15 according to their menu. My daughter got nail polish on her fingers and toes. The total came to $40.50 not including tip. So if my basic pedicure was $15, that means they charged me $25.50 to put polish on my 6 year old's nails. That's literally all they did, they didn't even file her nails or anything. Next time I'll ask in advance how much they charge. I just wasn't expecting it. Then when we were leaving, the woman at the register and the woman who did our nails seemed to be arguing, and when I thanked them and said goodbye, they just continued their discussion.
