We've lived in this area for a minute and finally decided to have brunch here. We arrived around 1:30 and were seated right away. Let's get into it! Service was attentive and quick. Two people held down the entire restaurant. Seating, serving and bussing tables were all done by them. Ambiance felt comfortable and laid back and the 2nd most important thing outside of the food are the gender neutral bathrooms which were clean and well lit! The food was delicious and filling and the weird things that stood out to me was the fresh squeezed OJ and the side salad which was so nicely seasoned and the OJ was bangin! We definitely will be back. Go here!!

Food is always incredible, and atmosphere is always warm and inviting and the owner always kindly interacts with diners with a good vibe. Greta was our server and was SO down to earth and sweet - hope to get her again next time!

I thought I reviewed this place back in 2018, but think my review disappeared. Anyways, as mentioned, came here back in 2018 for dinner and never went back. I can't remember why, except the fact I wasn't blown away by the food. I came back here because it was easy to get to without worrying about everything else, so decided to book a resy for brunch. Got the following items: Croissant - good Steak Tartare - I wish they had more of kick in here. I added loads of pepper, but I appreciate it was chopped and not ground, because I hate ground. Steak Frites - good Oyster - good Lobster roll - good ratio, it could have been reworked a bit and didn't really care for their take on this east coast classic. I added pepper in this too. I didn't even realize they had a cellar back in 2018, but we sat there and it was a bit cramp, but better than nothing. Service was good.

The things I miss most about Brooklyn are the local restaurants that you can walk to. We were invited to this establishment by a great friend of mine. Now I see why she chose this place. The ambiance is intimate also not for the little ones for no kid's meals on the menu. Non the less we chose the burger for our boys it was a big-size burger that they split with some fries. I indulge in one, very huge but very tasty. The fries were well prepared and seasoned. My wife had the poulet aux morilles which is a chicken dish. By now you should know that she is a picky eater. But she enjoyed her meal so I know this place is it. My friend had a special mushroom meal that the chef prepared for her. They need to add it to the menu. I can honestly say this place has it from service to the food it is a must. Bedford Stuyvesant has come a long way. Kudos to this establishment for representing fine cuisine and amazing hospitality. We will return.

I never leave reviews because I find the "review culture" to be kinda pathetic and gives pathetic people way too much too much power, but I went here last night and OMG. I also went for my birthday back in October and everything was sooo yummy. My mom and I went last night and had rose, the red snapper and the lamb chops. Literally still drooling thinking about it. Service was on point excellent thank you to our server. And the vibe was quiet and cute def felt Parisian and Laissez faire - in a good way! 5 stars!

Brunch in France? Oui s'il vous plaît (yes please). I was excited to try my first-ever omelet and French. Let's not forget the croissants and wine! The oeuf Benedictine aux salmon or eggs benedict with salmon (poached egg, smoked salmon, spinach, hollandaise, market greens, pommes frites) was pretty interesting. It was fresh and savory, but a tad too salty for me. Great service and ambiance!

Cozy French neighborhood bistro that makes you feel at home. The owner Amadeus is usually there and goes out of his way to make you comfortable. Maya is the sommelier and since we are usually in right when they open is waiting on us. Her wine recs have always exceeded our expectations. We usually dine with our 11 month old baby who sometimes needs extra attention. Maya has even helped us with the baby while we finished our last bites. The food is very good. We usually start with oysters which are very fresh and served with a classic mignonette. Last night we has the appetizer on special which was bone marrow, fried frog legs, escargot and black garlic. We completed by our meal sharing the Contre Filet (12 oz dry aged NY strip steak) and Roasted Hen of the Woods. All pictured here so you can SEE how delicious it was. I would really recommend anything on their menu but these in particular if you catch them on the menu get them. You won't regret it.

He was so kind and warm and genuinely treated us like he knew us personally, which added so much to the cozy, homey vibe of the place. The space itself is really cute -- perfect lighting with red tones, exposed brick walls, and such an intimate, inviting atmosphere. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was one of the best I've ever had. It was packed with an incredible variety of meats and cheeses and was more than enough to generously feed our table of four. At a lot of wine bars, I leave still feeling unsatisfied, but this one was filling and so well done. I had the Riesling and it was amazing -- the perfect balance of sweet and dry. And the real star of the show was the grilled cheese with ragù. So delicious. I'm from LA, but we will absolutely be back every time we're in Brooklyn. Highly recommend & cannot say enough about this place! It was one of the highlights of our trip :)

We started with two perfect oysters which had ikura, ramps, Thai chili oil and coriander flowers. Then sugar snap peas cooked perfectly with a hint of sesame - oil some special kind. But the superstar starter was the leek custard, with a mound of Osetra caviar atop a little dot of wasabi sprinkled with Alyssum flowers. $55 but worth it! Then we moved on to the seafood risotto which was the most toothsome risotto made with Japanese rice - seafood broth - and a mound of fresh red shrimp, razor clams, scallops hint of chili and a bit of mint. Perfection The charred white asparagus with sable fish with Shiro miso and green garlic was a complete surprise - delicious. Another superstar was the soft egg sitting in a sea of blue crab meat - in a brown butter garam salt bath. Served with a crusty baguette that we used to lap up all the amazingly tasty sauce. Unique - unsurpassed in flavor. We ending the savory courses with a lovely steelhead trout surrounded by thinly sliced fresh asparagus and fava beans with this basil and almond. Despite eating every last drop we made room for strawberry rhubarb pavlova. So well prepared. Little bits of crunchy raw rhubarb and nuts added a nice contrast to this often soft dessert. The wines are incredible and we had a Portuguese blend with a Cortes to cema (sp?) Service was beyond excellent. Friendly professional and even fun. Wine knowledge is first class. Hip and cool. The atmosphere was super intimate and cozy, and the service was paced really well throughout the night. Some of the dishes definitely could've had a little more flavor or seasoning, especially compared to how hyped up the restaurant is, but there were still a few standout plates that made the meal memorable. My favorites were the clams, the tuna, and the rice dish, all three were so simple but done really well. The tuna especially tasted incredibly fresh and balanced, and the clams had such a light, clean flavor that worked perfectly with the wine. You can tell this is one of those places focused on quality ingredients and a more understated approach to food rather than overly heavy flavors. Overall, really glad we went and it's definitely worth trying at least once, especially if you love sharing plates and trying a bunch of different dishes throughout the night.

I walked in 29 seconds before they opened and they told me so, and I went across the street to walk around bc I was meeting a friend and by the time I went back they were packed (this annoyed me...slightly....). :-/ However, we were given a table, even though there was some confusion at first as to whether we could have one if we weren't eating. But we did have food! And they were friendly, and the service was unexpectedly focused and tight. I'm not a huge wine guy, but I enjoyed the glasses of wine I had here. The menu was lovely. The small plates were very good, but Rude Mouth has taken *more than a small cue* from Bar Jambon, in Gramercy, the wine bar connected to the Michelin-starrred restaurant Casa Mono - in their wines and their small plates (ham, bread, butter, etc.) Who can fault them, really? Are you gonna hate on every rock band that wants to sound a little like My Bloody Valentine? Enjoyable, serious place, good wine, solid food, nice vibe, no real complaints, worth your time.

I plopped myself on the bar and had the pleasure of making conversation with Elouise and Alejandra. They put in my standard two dozen oyster order and paired my platter with a glass of the happy hour white wine which happens to be their house chardonnay. The oysters were delicious although I must say there was a lot of shell pieces inside, which was very annoying to eat. I don't think this is necessarily the fault of whoever is shucking them. I noticed the oysters they serve have a lot of thin slivers of shell on the edges which are bound to end up in your mouth. Perhaps they can try serving another variety of oysters? Just a thought. The chardonnay was pretty good and service was amazing. The girls at the bar also let me try the Ten Bells red wine which is produced specially for them in Boudreaux, France.
