It may be due to the fact that I grew up eating mediterranean food as I'm from Croatia, but I was not impressed with this place much at all. The flavors that should have been there were lacking...think a lot of lemon, olive oil, herbs & garlic. The whole fish I ordered was not how it should traditionally be served, and the octopus appetizer was overcooked. I recommend they get real cooks from the mediterranean region to show them how to properly cook & season/taste the food, so it isn't basically an American wanna be mediterranean restaurant. read more

The food is outstanding. We had 5 separate items including sauteed calamari which was prepared by Chef Pano at my request. It is usually breaded and fried. I only know of one other restaurant where one can get sauteed calamari and that is a Pia's in Gulfport Fl. The focus is on smaller plates--think appetizers- and a few main course meals, with fish/seafood being the main dishes. Meat lovers will find some, but the focus is not meat. The ambiance is friendly, efficient, and very welcoming. Our server Maya exemplified that spirit. She was thoroughly attentive and proactive. I hadn't been to Kyma in about 12 years, so I was thrilled when my friend chose it for her birthday dinner. While the food and drink were good, the overall experience was somewhat lacking. I arrived early and decided to wait at the bar. There were maybe 4 other people at the bar. I sat there for a full 15 minutes and the bartender never asked me if I would like a drink. Then when he finally decided to pay me attention, my party arrived so I decided to just wait until I sat down. The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit, and not at all good for group pics. There was a DJ spinning music. I can't recall what type of music it was. Maybe some sort of low-tempo euro house? Thankfully it wasn't too loud so that we couldn't hear each other. One of my friends had a visibly dirty wine glass in front of him. Then his water glass had a very large crack in it. Our server was friendly but not at all efficient in taking care of a party of 8. He took our drink orders one at a time. Meaning he took one order then left. Came back and took another order and then left. I get that we were a chatty bunch and he probably didn't want to interrupt us, but he should have had a more commanding presence to take our drink orders all at once. I finally had to flag him down and ask him to take the drink order for the guest of honor. Our food was good. Loved the octopus. I enjoyed my fish. Others enjoyed their food as well. I really appreciated the loukoumades they brought out for my friend's birthday. Overall it was a good, not great, experience. It's gone down hill over the years. I visited Kyma on a Tuesday evening. Reservations were easy to get and the restaurant was not busy. I hate that this is my first review of Kyma because I've been many times over the last 10 years and each time I order the tasting menu. Previously 5 star for taste and food every time. I come from out of town and make it my mission to visit Kyma. Or did... Ordered the tasting menu again. The portions are half the size they once were and the mezze is different, not in a good way. The octopus portion is so small now and the recipe has to be different. I used to talk about Kyma having the best octopus I've ever had. Unfortunately not the case anymore. So sad. Environment: This restaurant was nicely decorated with bright colors and furniture and accents that made me feel like I was at an actual restaurant in Greece. I also liked that they had the display of fresh seafood on ice that too could view from the dining room. Food/drink: Ordered the Whole Fresh Snapper to eat and an Espresso Martini to drink. The Snapper was quite delicious! The skin was cooked nicely and the meat on the inside was moist and had good flakiness to it. I liked the olive oil and capers that added additional flavor to the dish. The Espresso Martini was also quite satisfactory and was made with an actual shot of espresso which is an absolute must for me! Service: The waitress was very friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions or seek the answer from another staff member if ever she was not sure. It was a nice atmosphere. Came here for a date. We had the grilled octopus, the dahlmas, the lamchops, the prawns and the lemon potatoes. We came for the Martimi Thursdays advertised on Open Table... the server had no idea what we were talking about. He had no idea the had a martini menu and he basically came back and said instead of a martini menu they could make us whatever we wanted which took away from the martini experience bc we never had martinis before so we ended up just getting traditional dirty martinis... The server kept trying to clear our plates while we still had food on them. I wasn't done with my lamb chops and I didn't even get to eat the potatoes that came with them before he just grabbed my plate and walked away. He also took away our octopus appetizer while there was still octopus on the plate. It made me feel rushed. He tried to take away the prawns while there were still prawns on the plate The portions are already small. At least let us eat all the food on the plate first. I most likely won't be back but if you have a man who will foot the bill for a hot date... I'd go at least once. read more

I want to give this place a good review, first it started with an extensive dress code when we made our reservation. We thought we were in compliance until I was asked to take off my pull over which was no issue. When we got to the hostess we checked in and she said it will be 5-10 more minutes which was no issue but it turned into 20-30 but they did give complimentary champagne. As we got seated at a 6 person booth with three of us, we were skeptical. We ordered, got our wine, appetizers and drinks. We were waiting for our main courses when they brought a complimentary salad because it was taking so long and the server said it would be 6 minutes. About 10 minutes later the server said another 6 minutes. When the food finally came, the ribeye for two wasn't cut. They forgot our potato's. The pasta with the lobster pasta was ice cold. The food itself was very good but we were definitely disappointed. If they are going to hold the guest to the standard of a nice restaurant, it would be nice if they held up their end. read more

This place is good but too expensive for what you get. First off, there's valet parking only and it costs 3 dollars. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat at the tables by the bar. We decided to do a tasting menu which was 3 appetizers with an entree and the spreads. This turned out to be 47 per person. We started with the spreads and the eggplant based one was my favorite. I also enjoyed the spicier one as well. The olive spread was a bit bitter with the after taste. The pita bread it came with was delicious. Next we had the oysters. I wouldn't say these were the best I've had. Very mediocre. Enough for two per person in our group of 3. It came with marinara sauce, a lemon, and some type of fishy sauce we couldn't distinguish. The spinach pies were AMAZING. They were nice and flaky and had a packed inside. I wish we had more of these. Then, it was the beef/lamb pie. I honestly can't remember what exactly it was, but it was served on a creamy yogurt. This was also pretty amazing. Just a bit hard to share as a group. Finally, we had the lamb chops. I thought there was too much seasoning on these. The meat itself was cooked very well, but the seasoning really overpowered the taste. The restaurant in general has nice beach vibes. I came here with two friends on Sunday night because we had a $25 voucher. We didn't have reservations so we just seated ourselves at the small tables near the bar. It was pretty full around 7PM. We ordered the Appetizer & Specialty Entree Tasting ($47 per person). It came with all four spreads (olive, pepper, chickpea, eggplant) and a good amount of pita, as well. The spreads were so delicious, but the pepper and eggplant ones were definitely my favorites. They had a nice savory flavor that had me scooping out any remnants from the bottom with my last piece of pita. For our appetizers (mezes) we picked the oysters, spinach pie, and lamb pie. There were 6 oysters and it came with a cocktail sauce and mignonette. Pretty standard. The spinach pie (spanakopita) came in crispy triangles filled with feta cheese and spinach. They were so warm and rich and delicious. Definitely a must-have if you haven't tried spanakopita before. The lamb pie was similarly in spiral crispy filo, filled with cheese and garnished with arugula and yogurt. This was also very rich with the cheese and lamb but once again super tasty. The yogurt and arugula was nice to cut through the richness. We ordered the lamb chops as our entree. Each of us were served a plate with 2 lamb chops (with lemon), salted potato slices, and tzatziki sauce. The lamb chops were INCREDIBLY seasoned (maybe a little too much? I got some flakes stuck in my throat a few times) and cooked really well. The tzatziki sauce was refreshing and helped cut the heaviness of the lamb, but I didn't find myself using too much of it since the lamb was already so flavorful. The potato slices (greek fries?) were also pretty heavily seasoned with salt but a nice side for the lamb. Overall - a nice Greek place with good food. For $47, it's pretty worth it to try all their spreads, three appetizers, and an entree (pretty much five courses). You will be pretty full afterward, surprisingly enough. Service was a bit slow but probably because we were pretty much at bar seating instead of regular dining. Our server was really nice though. Had a decent dinner here tonight after fighting some serious Atlanta traffic. I should have checked the prices before coming in as I had some sticker shock upon arrival. The seafood platters are around $80/person and it is not a restaurant for kids, which was our mistake. But the reason for the stars is entirely on service/food. The menu I saw online looked different than in person looking back now but we tried the Santorini tasting platter which came with a bunch of different seafood. The lobster was overly peppered and also too salty and it would have been better even just plain. Scallops, grilled bread, lemon greek potatoes, and grilled leeks were all pretty good, but again, for the price just ok. The octopus was pretty good, a little dry/salty like some of the rest of the food despite the wine/broth at the bottom of the dish. The hummus appetiser was good. The saganaki cheese was also pretty tasty but one small block of cheese for $13 seems overpriced. The ambiance is nice here; especially outside where they've done a good job of making it feel like you are actually in Greece. Finally, the waiter was courteous and initially very prompt with service but later seemed to forget about us. It took us about 20 minutes to pay and leave. He also quoted us at one price for the Santorini dish, we ordered it, and then he came back later to tell us that the market price had come up (but it was too late to change our order). It pains me to be so dissatisfied in a place I was excited to try. Before anything, if you must go, I highly encourage the lamb pasta. Such a very tasty dish, and it strikes as an inside out Greek lasagna. It's good. But nowhere is anywhere without great service. And unfortunately for me, Kyma was nowhere. The service was sadly so subpar. Shockingly so, seeing as how the greeter was very friendly. The waiter taking care of us that night was rude. Tossing forks onto the table, sliding a plate without care, and worst of all: unkind when asked questions about the menu. I liked the pasta, sure. First I would like to comment on the waiter we had. I do not remember his name but he came off as extremely arrogant and cocky. After taking our drink order I asked to place the order for the appetizers as well and he was like "oh well here we order all of the food together" and just walked away. I was trying to figure out wether I had to place my dessert to order at the same time he took the appetizer and main course meal. I get that some restaurants have certain ways of doing things, but there is a nice way to tell people. Anyway. I ordered the pork ribs, lobster, octopus, scallop, calamari, and the stone crab appetizers to try for my party of 4. They were worried that I ordered too many but it was just the right amount for our table because of how small the portions were. At first when I saw the menu prices I thought they were reasonable but after actually getting the plates I feel they were a bit overpriced. Also this place was valet only parking. We literally parked in a spot and the guy walks two feet to where we parked, told us it is valet only so we backed out came to the front entrance near the valet booth. The gentleman took the car and parked it right back where we were first parked. I thought it was a little silly for the restaurant. For the main course we all ordered different things. I ordered the shank and it was not bad. The lamb chops were very good. Cocktails were not that great. Switched to wine after the second one. Had Greek donuts, baklava with pistachio ice cream, chocolate lava cake and the yogurt dessert. I liked the yogurt dessert because it reminded me of a Sri Lankan dessert called "kiri pani". Recently enjoyed Kyma with family. They have adapted a little for Covid, and I'm afraid that means the cool bar scene is mostly gone, though there is a nice outdoor grotto to enjoy by the fire. Menu is mostly the same, although I think some of the mezze are streamlined. Still many good things to choose from. If you've not been before, try the fish and mezze dinner. First, you'll get all four spreads, which are fantastic. I don't even like egg plant usually but the babaganoush is excellent. Then you'll pick three mezze. The lamb pie is exceptional, so if you like lamb, get that. Cheese saganaki is really good, and the octopus is also. We tried the calamari sauteed last time, but it was quite fishy and management promptly replaced it with apologies. During warmer seasons they have great salads, especially a watermelon and tomato salad with feta that rocks. Then you pick a fish with about half a pound per person in your party. Their standard roasting is fantastic, but you can also have it cooked encased in salt or in bamboo leaves. I'd suggest trying their wine list. It's really unique, and you can pick all kinds of Greek wines, which are reasonably priced. Their guidance is good with the selections. Personally i enjoy their cocktails, which are interesting and unique, but this is the place to try ouzo if you so fancy. This place expensively and unfortunately missed the mark. I'd give this place 2.5 stars if we could give half stars but since that's not a thing, I'm rounding up because the service was good. The physical restaurant confused me- it looks upscale but also had some elements that made it feel cheap to me, like the ice display of seafood, fishy smells and revolving door. The bathroom stall reeked of salt and sea. Overall temperature of the restaurant was fluctuating and offputting to me too. Anyway, enough of the small stuff- let's get to the food. Our table of three ordered the three appetizers to share and one specialty entree. For our apps, we ordered the calamari (fresh tasting but the smallest portion I've ever seen that claims to be shareable for three), octopus (cooked well with a smoky yet tart flavor. Could have held some more salt tho), and spinach pies (PIPING hot and enjoyable but was it rlly worth it for how much it cost??). Our main dish was the lobster pasta. The lobster was well cooked and you get a sizable amount but the entire dish was overwhelmed by the amount of salt in it. It was honestly painful to eat towards the end. Our table of three also had varying flavors of spice and salt in each of our ramekins.. strange. We did get a free dessert for my friends birthday and it was a pistachio ice cream and baklava which was yummy. What a gem! My girlfriends and had dinner here one evening and the service and food were phenomenal. I mean, everything was seasoned perfectly and our server had excellent recommendations. My friend commented that she felt like she was in Crete and the other said it was the best restaurant meal she'd had in a while. We shared the lobster bites and quad of spreads with fresh pita. Intimate setting for Date night. Everyone was so helpful and friendly with suggestions. Anytime the water was low they filled it without asking. The whole experience was awesome. You can get full on appetizers here. Friday night had the place packed. They have Valet thats $3.00. They have a full bar. The place is reasonable . I wanted to try all the appetizers but had to leave room for entree. The waiter Jacob was exceptional and he gave a lot of points and tips on the food. Started with the Lamp Pie , Oysters and Pork Rib. These are a must get in my opinion. My entree was the Snapper. The lady had the Lamb Shank. Everything was great. The dessert was Pistachio ice cream and Baklava. If i could have the dessert everyday i would. I appreciate the waiter for suggesting it. There is a dress code at the restaurant. The bar has a vegas vibe to it. The place was dim and after a certain time the lights got dimmer. Seafood is fresh and everything on the menu is worth giving it a try. It was my first time at Kyma, and I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, service, food, and attention to detail were all a bit lackluster, considering the prices. First, the service: it wasn't bad, but it just felt like none of the staff wanted to be there. Service was a bit slow at clearing away plates, and at one point, we ran out of space on our table and had to stack dirty plates ourselves. Water was refilled quickly though. Attention to detail: the inside of the restaurant was nice, but decor didn't give an expensive or elegant impression. Some of the restroom stalls didn't lock securely. Food also came out on chipped dinnerware and I was given a dirty water glass. Plating was a bit sloppy sometimes too. Food: Our group ordered the Aegean, the whole fish tasting that comes with 4 assorted spreads and pita, 2 appetizers (we chose the lamb pie and lobster morsels), Greek salad, and whole fish (we chose a fillet of arctic char and lavraki). The spreads were all very delicious, as was the lamb pie! I wish the pita was warmer. The Greek salad is mostly tomatoes. Fish was good, but nothing memorable. For dessert, I had the mini tasting and chose the baklava, Greek donut, and blueberry pie. Desserts were all good and the perfect portion. Greek food is true food that shines in simplicity. The well-established upscale chic Greek restaurant attempts to deliver the core of the cuisine but leaves some areas for concern. [Our Experience] Came in on a Wednesday night for a 7:45 reservation for two. Valet parking was available on site and the young guy working was professional and friendly. Checked in with the hostesses upon arrival and expectations were set high when I noticed the space and the freshness of the seafood in the front display. Luckily my beautiful date was running late and I knew she favors good cocktails so I went to sample some at the bar. The Bar: Full bar that is said to craft beverages to compliment the food. Upon first impression, for an upscale restaurant, the bar seemed a bit cluttered. Most of the bar area had used napkins laying around and chairs were scattered. Didn't see any effort to clear the space. Took a moment to find a section that wasn't quite messy and sat down. The bartender came about shortly after I sat and was somewhat friendly but seemed distracted with floor staff. I looked over the bar offerings and went with the thirsty philosopher, the Morpheus, and a glass of water. * Thirsty philosopher (5 starts +) Flavors profile resembled that of a refreshing cucumber dill salad from my summer days in Athens but in a chilled martini glass with a touch of gin. I still wonder about this cocktail. * The Morpheus ( 4.8 stars) As the name suggests the drink was indeed a flavor shifter. At first elderflower and gin notes come in followed by lavender and dried flora flavors but not for long. The lemon cuts it right after and a sweet hibiscus finish is revealed. Overall we liked this cocktail for its uniqueness. The Atmosphere: Once my date arrived we were welcomed into the main dining area and given a table facing the kitchen and most of the restaurant. We could see the soft touches of warm light on the Greek-style columns, the walls with the candles, and the mysterious gray glass wine cellar behind us. The table was well set for us with glasses for wine and cutlery for our meals. The overall setting of the dining room and the atmosphere was pretty nice and neat. The only thing we both didn't like was the upbeat euro music that was echoing in the restaurant. For some reason, it removed the calm out of the space and didn't resonate with all the effort they had in place. The Waitstaff : Our server was subtle and kept conversation to a minimal which I've noticed is common in such restaurants but most definitely could have been a bit more engaging. The same could be said with the assistant waitstaff, waterer, and runners. Greek hospitality is supposed to be vibrant. For Starter we had: 1) Traditional Greek Spread with Kalamata olives and Wood-grilled pita bread & Chef Panos olive oil. * (4.00/5.00 stars) * The Kalamata olives did most of the work. Always room to cut some of the saltiness of the olives. 2) Watermelon salad & feta with garden herbs and watermelon sorbet. * (2.00/5.00 stars) * This dish was where the question marks and concerns kicked in. The simplicity of the dish leaves no room for imperfection. Sadly for a $13 plate of salad, it missed the mark. The watermelon wasn't cold enough and the sugary sweetness of the sorbet took over the entire dish. The feta just like the olives had done its part but together as a dish it wasn't convincing. Watermelon and a creamy, rich crumbly feta are a summertime childhood favorite of mine and this particular dish just didn't pull those memories in. 3) The Greek (Greek salad) * (2.00/5.00 stars ) * Another disappointing dish. "Xoriatiki" or Greek salad is as simple as it gets yet trying to elevate the dish to meet the dining room's expectations has cost Kyma some points in my perspective. The Greek came in at a $14 plate with tomatoes, olives, red onions, a little seasoning, a wedge of feta, and some rough Julienne cut Holland peppers topped with olive oil. Not enough bang for the buck here! 4) Octopus - oak wood-grilled octopus served with red onions, olives, and capers. * (4.8/5.00 stars) This dish was a hit at our table. The octopus was tender and Smokey and had a slight zesty finish. It was her first time having octopus and she was quickly convinced of how good it can be. -0.2 for presentation. Main: 5) Grilled whole fish for two. We had ( Lavraki) Mediterranean sea bass with capers lemon and olive oil. * (5.00 /5.00 stars) * The Lavraki was an absolute delight. We picked the fish from the display and they had it cleaned, butterflied, and grilled to perfection for us. It came table side toped off with olive-oil vinaigrette, cappers, and lemon halves. * at $38 a plate this was worth the buck! 6) Greek Fries - with grated kefalotiri cheese * (4.00/5.00 stars) The potatoes were nice and rich. I was excited to try this place as one of my favorite trips was to Athens and Santorini a few years ago. The food was tasty. I had the lamb chops and my wife had the lobster pasta. Both tasted great, but nothing overly impressive. The Saganaki was ok, but they serve it in a bowl full of oil which wasn't great. I wish I could speak to the ambiance, but since I was wearing sneakers they made us sit outside. This wasn't mentioned on their website, and when we told them that we were told "most people call ahead", as if it's not 2023, everyone checks google first. Also, no hats at all. This is a "fine dining establishment". Service was solid. Food was good. Can't speak to the ambiance as I was taken out back like Old Yeller and sat in a gravel pit. 3.5 out of 5, I'll probably just go back to Greece before coming here again. read more

My husband and I are new to Atlanta (moved here early 2024) and are still trying out the restaurant scene. Greek food is one of our favorites, and we were excited to try Kyma after reading some of the reviews about the ambiance and overall experience. Our bar is pretty high having lived in Chicago for 30 years and sampling many of the lovely restaurants in Greektown. Parking was a breeze. The valet is right up front and reasonably priced ($3 plus tip). The attendant was friendly and took care of us right away. Once inside, the front hostess poured us each a bit of rose bubbly and that got the evening off to a wonderful start. Our server was knowledgable and very happy to share her favorite dishes on the menu when we asked her advice. Greek wine is hit or miss for me and she recommended a dry, crisp white that was perfect. This place is absolutely beautiful. Love the outside deco. Service is extremely efficient. Anna our server was great. Note to you... DO NOT COME HUNGRY... portions are small. Tasty and very well prepared. But $22 for a small octopus with just olives.... The lobster was definitely delicious but that pasta tasted like sea water and no flavor. Service was great, interior is nice, a bit dated. But the food was super over rated. Lacking in flavor and over priced. My bf just got back from visiting Greece and wanted to get some quality Greek food, we should've just went to a take out spot for a gyro. The dips we were served were laughable, the hummus was thin instead of thick and creamy. Everything else tasted and looked like it was just blended up in a food processor, but not long enough. The eggplant tasted raw, no smokey rich flavor. My bf got the lamb shank which tasted overcooked and dry. I got the whole fish- royal dorade and it was pretty basic. Just steamed fish with lemon and oil on top. I expected way more flavor and even better presentation for the price. It came with lemon potatoes which is one of my favorites. But this one was undercooked and not enough lemon flavor, I actually added lemon to it. The kale side seemed out of place and better suited for a BBQ joint. We also got a scoop of olive oil ice cream and orange cake which was good. The bill came out to nearly $300 with tip after a beer and a glass of wine. I felt bamboozled b/c nothing I ate was memorable. I've eaten better Greek food from most take out spots. Seems like the name & reputation of this place surpasses the actual food. Came here for a work function and the food and drinks were amazing. We ordered appetizers, fish and lamb chops along with drinks and cocktails. There were no complaints. The venue itself is very elegant and there is valet parking for $3. Definitely a nice date spot. read more

Kyma is a modern Greek restaurant in Atlanta and they offer valet service. Once you walk in, you're met with the beautiful white and blue backdrop Greece is famous for. This restaurant is a must visit. I came here for dinner with my date and service was excellent. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious and refreshing. We had the halibut and snapper with a side of braised kale, the fish nearly melted in your mouth-light and flaky cooked to perfection. We finished off the night with a Greek cheesecake. My husband and I decided to try this restarting for date night. The food was impeccable! I love that the restaurant had a separate vegan and vegetarian menu! My husband had the lamb chops with Greek fries. We both shared the pita bread with olive spread for an appetizer. I decided to get a few appetizers (Tuscan kale, lemon potatoes, and brussel sprouts). We both order the Athena's Secret cocktail (pomegranate vodka, pineapple, and pomegranate). Along with the amazing food the decorations were beautiful! This place has very nice decor .. they have weird dress code rules that apparently the ladies I was with were outside of, but that's fine because our reservations were for outside and the dress code is a bit more relaxed there. The service was decent I don't have any complaints on that , they could make a better effort to explain the menu as it isn't very traditional and there was a lot of things they were out and didn't know until we started ordering . The food however wasn't very good. It wasn't bad but for the price I really expected more. Everything taste like lemon... like a lot of lemon. We had a whole fish and the beef tenderloin... they tasted the same just different textures. So we didn't care for the food .. and unfortunately I probably wouldn't go back here. It's worth a try if you are considering it but I tried it and there are too many other good options in walking distance. read more

My family and I went to Kyma for my mother's birthday. This was my first time trying Greek seafood. The interior is very classy and dimly lit. Perfect for a nice romantic dinner date :) The servers were very attentive and constantly came around to check on us. They were also very professional and friendly. We brought in a fruit tart for my mother and they kindly put it in the back for us to keep cool. We had several plates of food brought to the table. We ordered a couple appetizers for the table and I hAll the appetizers were really amazing but the octopus was probably my favorite. It was so tender and buttery. I'm used to octopus being over cooked but this is probably the best octopus I've ever had. The staff brought out a plate demonstrating how the fish is "salt encrusted" and then cooked. I thought it was a nice way for the staff to interact with us. Unfortunately our food did take quite a while to arrive because it was burnt and the chef wanted to redo it. Our waiter brought over some salads that were on the house to make up for lost time. When the fish arrived, it was absolutely delicious! The fish was so tender and flavorful. It came with a lemon wedge that you squeeze over the fish to give it a bit of tanginess. I like that they had also prepared the fish in a way that made it easy to eat. I did find some bones however so I would be cautious when you eat it. At the end of the dinner, our waiter brought out my mother's fruit tart and they had placed candles in it! It was a lovely dinner for my mother. Overall, I really liked the environment and the food. However, it was very pricey and I'm not sure if it was worth the somewhat small portion sizes. I also didn't want to have to stay there for a total of 3 hours due to the pace at which our food came out. Still great food and amazing service! I recommend people come here for a nice dinner. read more

Kyma is an upscale Greek restaurant with specialty seafood. Our group stopped by on a weeknight and we were thoroughly satisfied with your food and drinks. They had 7$ martinis on Tuesday night and we tried 3 different one, with Aphrodite and cucumber ones being the best! We ordered the five course meal with spreads, three appetizers and one entree to be shared among two people. For appetizers we tried the scallops, (best among all)tuna tartare, salmon with caviar, spinakopita, beet salad(comes with a beet sorbet that is truly unique and fantastic if you like beets). We tried the beef and lamb shanks for entrees, both were pretty good but portions are on the smallish side. It's a great place to visit on a special occasion and the service and ambience will not disappoint. read more
