Always love coming here and trying new dishes. Our favorites are the pilaf, lamb shank, and any noodles. The sweet raisins in the pilaf balance out the rest of the salty savory flavors. The noodles are very firm and chewy. Gotta try them all.

I can appreciate what this place is going for, but it just didn't resonate with me the way I expected. Everything tasted home-style, almost like something your parents would cook with a big pot of rice rather than a restaurant meal. I kept waiting for a dish that would really wow me, but it never quite got there. If that was the intent, then they nailed it. The Big Plate Chicken was hearty with tender hand-pulled noodles underneath, though the overall flavor profile stayed in the same warm, savory lane throughout the meal. The Lamb Kebabs were nicely grilled, but I found myself wishing for a spicy or citrusy accompaniment to add some contrast. The Samsa was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a flakier, more buttery pastry. I actually think this food might shine even more as takeout or DoorDash. The portions are generous, fairly priced, and the dishes feel like the kind of comforting meal you'd happily order on a cold weeknight. The restaurant itself is modern and inviting, but the dining setup didn't feel especially suited to the cuisine. The small plates made large pieces of meat and potatoes awkward to eat, and the lightweight flat metal chopsticks made the hand-pulled noodles surprisingly difficult to manage. I can absolutely understand why this place has such a loyal following, especially among people familiar with Uyghur cuisine. It just wasn't the standout meal I was hoping for. I'd happily order it again for takeout, even if I probably wouldn't make a special trip to dine in.

I came here with a friend for dinner and we had a good time! Inside is extremely spacious with lots of seating. We ordered on the kiosk, and the food came out soon after. Service was good, and they checked on us periodically. The samsa was decent. The puff pastry is a bit dry but it still is a good bite. The laghman is also good and I love the texture of the noodles. I am personally a fan of tangier/tomato-y based sauces, so this was up my alley. It is a little oily however. I loved the rice pilaf more, the addition of raisins and carrots adds such a nice sweetness to the lamb shank. I really enjoyed this dish in particular. Overall, we had a great time!

We came in around a bit over an hour or so before closing. We were seated immediately and our food came out decently quickly. Service was welcoming and very polite. Interior is very high end and fancier looking. This would be a great place for a date and does not have the crazy pressure of somewhere that would destroy your wallet or with too much etiquette needed. Utensils, cups, and everything look very nice too. Adds to the atmosphere. They have a physical menu but you scan the QR code to order. For our dinner, we got the: 1) Uyghur Special Milk Tea: -A must every time I go to an Uyghur restaurant. -I love the kick of saltiness to this milk tea. Very rich with the butter and cream added in too. It's comes out hot, so make sure to sip slowly and enjoy. 2) Laghman Noodles: -Anytime I eat Uyghur cuisine, I either always get the laghman noodles or the pilaf and this time we chose the noodles (next time we'll get the pilaf). We got this spicy and it comes with cabbage, potatoes, green onion and pepper and black fungi. Generous amount of veggies. -Not super spicy, but has a good kick. Deliciously tomato-y brothy soup sauce on the noodles that went deliciously well with the chewy textured noodles. I'd get this again. Good stuff. 3) Wellington Style Roasted Lamb: -Not many of the restaurants I go to have regular beef wellington. So seeing a lamb one, I KNEW we were going to order it. Super unique and I've never seen this offered at any restaurant yet. -Comes out super piping steamy hot on the inside. Lamb slides off the bone and is super moist and tender. Seasoned well, but goes well with the cumin spice powder and the sauces (yogurt based tangy sauce and the chili oil sauce). -I like that it look like a cute trilobite since the shank bone is still left in it. The pastry around has a nice crispiness to it and isn't too dry either. Definitely a lot of food for 2 people and we had leftovers, so it's definitely perfect for groups and sharing food. I'd love to come back to try more of their menu!

Kaylee T.

I love their grilled chicken it is very tender and firm which I love. The cold noodles were great but it was a little too sour for my taste. I went as a party of 6 and my parents and their friends also ordered fish and a large lamb chop which they enjoyed. They love how spacious it was and how patient the servers were with them.

Kavi T.

Came here after dinner next door just for the dessert. Their signature yogurt is really good. Got curious about the yogurt ice cream so decide to try. It is definitely more yogurt and cheese than ice cream. I definitely recommend the yogurt and not so much the ice cream. Is like eating cheese and kind of dry unlike how smooth the yogurt is. The place has great ambiance and moody lighting so I can see it being a date spot or some where to go for a nice chat with a friend.

Phoebe S.

having been to kusan's mountain view location, i wanted to check this one out because of slight menu differences (specifically the noodle dishes). we tried the big plate chicken which was quite spicy and aromatic with spices. i'd come back to try the chiao mian and laghman dishes to tackle the rest of the menu ;P the braised lamb shank remains a top menu item and the #1 selection that i'd recommend newcomers to in this cuisine ^_^ super tender, no gameyness, delicious pilaf to pair and tasty dipping powders. grilled garlic naan is a must as well, and the cold chili chicken was surprisingly pretty good too - there was a bit of a peppery taste to it that we really liked.

waterlily f.

Nice and clean with a black and white color scheme. I like the high ceiling, cushy seating and window look into the kitchen. Ordered 3 dishes - samsa, stretched noodle and crispy lamb - great flavor. I'm usually not a fan for lamb but theirs is quite good not gamy.

Anzhi C.

Best lamb I have had in the Bay Area . Wellington lamb is to die for. Tripe and eggplant is flavorful. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Staff were attentive. Will come back again for sure!

I tried their Laghman and it was pretty good! A good portion and the spicy had a nice amount of heat to it.

Natalie T.

4.5/5 stars! Such a unique cuisine you can't really find in the bay, and so glad I got to try! Central Asian cuisine with influences of Greek and Persian. Big Plate Chicken 9.5/10 Omg this portion was way bigger than I expected! Comes with chicken cooked similar to Chinese style, and it's so juicy and tender. It also comes with flat noodles at the bottom, and this was so good when soaking up all the chicken sauce. Plate looks small online but don't get that twisted it's a good plate to share with 2/3 people! Golden Crispy Roasted Lamb Rib 10/10 ya this was sooo delicious, we got some naan on the side to make a perfect bite with the lamb + sauce and omg that was so delectable. Their house chili oil was crispy and spicy, really paired well with their lamb Passion Fruit Yogurt Beverage 8/10 this was a good contrast to the richer foods we were eating, you could taste that punch of passion fruit and the yogurt was a bit sour and tangy like Vietnamese yogurt Overall, portions were good for the price and the cuisine was super unique as I've never had Uyghur fusion food! If you want to be adventurous and try different foods, definitely come check this restaurant out!

Jeanette S.

I really enjoyed my meal here. All the meats were so tender and delicious, with a lot of flavor. My favorite was a lamb tripe noodle dish - I don't think Ive ever had lamb tripe before this meal! The portions are not gigantic, but also not small. I left feeling satisfied but not super full.

Rita W.

minimal vibes inside kinda interesting I think we were only one of two tables during a weekday lunch lamb noodle soup - 7/10 not too lamb-y, surprisingly - very excessive onions tho imo beef & rice - 9/10 was v surprised at whatever the heck the rice was - kinda sweet bc it had raisins and apricots but it worked really well?? beef was soft but a little on the fatty side for me

I guess Bay Area is a very competitive market, their food will be rated much higher if in any other city, unfortunately, in Bay Area, many places offering the same dish, so that food and price are okay, not as surprise as I thought. I liked to try new places, it is 4-4.5 range for this new place, but I definitely will have more preferred places to visit considering either the price or the flavor when comes to the similar dish. As a customer, we are so lucky to live in Bay Area, but it is so cruel for business here, you have to be super excellent to attract customers to revisit. read more

I've never had a Uyghur food before. I was pleasantly surprised with the complexity and deep flavor that came with each dish. My favorite was the chicken big plate. It was mildly spicy, but not too spicy, but the chicken was so tender. I also recommend the lamb shank with non-. Also extremely tender, and the meat fell off the bone. This dish had more mild flavors, but it was very flavorful, not spicy. Heads up, the noun is soaked in the juices and soup of the lamb shank. read more

Their decor is very fancy. They were very busy when I ate here. Based on the menu, their speciality is lamb. I ordered a couple appetizers, and the chicken entree. The appetizers were cucumber, eggplants, and carrot dish. They were all good but not exactly worth the cost. The chicken dish was very good (there's only one chicken dish and also chicken skewers available since they mostly serve lamb) read more

The good thing is the flavor is there. The bad things are: 1. Dumplings were barely warm when delivered to the table. A few dumpling wraps were damaged and cold, like they were from frozen. Costs $15.95, which is very pricey. 2. Lamb kabobs: The lamb meat size is very small, with pretty much 10 small bite-sized pieces costing $9.95. Very pricey. 3. Samsa: 2 pieces for $7.95. The size is smaller than my palm and contains a very small amount of meat. Again, very pricey. 4. Lamb Cumin Chao-mian: Extremely salty. None of the dishes are good. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

If you're looking for a truly authentic Uyghur dining experience, this place is a must-visit! Service was somewhat on point, when needed the server would appear but would of been better without the chatter . I speak many languages i was able to tell it was not work related . The drinks were good not as sweet but nothing special, any kid could replicate at home. The chicken noodle dish was my favorite, the cook followed the pre recipe correct and somewhat got the flavors to blend yet the rack Of lamb was 10/2 ratio 10 being the fat, I couldn't eat it and took it to my dogs instead . Honorable mentions, dumplings and soup ok, need to cut the fat a little, store owner buy real meat stop being cheap. read more

First time here, and didn't know what to expect. We ordered the Big Plate Chicken (with noodles), and it was yummy. The Golden Crispy Roasted lamb ribs was also good. It was flavorful enough in its own, but the 3 dipping sauces that came with it were all interesting as well. We also noted that noodles were hand-made fresh at the restaurant. I will definitely come back again... We didn't even get to try their Kabobs yet! read more

Kusan Bazaar sits on the right (south) wing of the Milpitas Square shopping mall. Inside is a large space tastefully decorated in black and white. The food is very fresh and authentic. It totally reminded me of a trip to Xinjiang. We ordered the "big plate chicken" and the Uyghur grilled lamb shank. Highly recommended. The chicken was delicious and very flavorful. The lamb shank was tender and well spiced. In retrospect, we probably should have ordered some naan as the pieces that came with the dish were quickly devoured. Expert tip: 1) be patient getting a table. When we went there was only one person running the floor. Still, food is worth a little wait. read more

Where I felt let down was the banh mi, crackling pork, because there was nothing crackling about the pork. It tasted old and stale. The rescuing detail was their calamansi sparkling drink! It is refreshing! Just sweet enough, especially to offset the savory heavy food. The vibe is very casual - and I do wish to come back at dinner when hopefully the food has a bit more fresh taste. I do see myself coming back to try some of their other curious bites and more specifically for that sparkling drink.

The food comes out pretty fast. The overall shared dining area is regularly kept clean inside Great Mall, there is great lighting and high ceilings, and there is plenty of parking in front of the food court entrance. I don't love the restrooms here -- it's hard to get the automatic sink faucets to stay on, and they give a tiny spurt of water on and off while you try to maneuver your hands around. The caulking in the sinks also clearly have a bunch of mold behind/in them, which is gross. Unfortunately other Great Mall bathrooms seem to be in the same condition. Our menu included Soy Sauce Chicken, Spicy Pork, Japchae Noodle, Pan Fried Cubed Tofu, Shredded Cabbage and Carrot, Kimchi with shrimp, and fresh fruits. At first I thought the Soy Sauce Chicken was like the Chinese kind of cut-up chicken with skin and bones, but it's actually smaller pieces of chicken meat in soy sauce flavor. Kinda dry for me. The Spicy Pork is hella spicy! And when it's spicy, you can't taste any other flavors. Japchae Noodle was just plain mung bean noodle with soy sauce, no other ingredients. It's salty and the more you eat the saltier it gets. This is usually my go to dish but now I'm disappointed. Shredded Cabbage and Carrot is very light in flavor, just boiled chopped veg. It's useful to mix them with the over-seasoned meat. The cubed tofu is ok, probably my least complained dish. In general, it's a very simple lunch with little to highlight.

Since it was my second time here (my first visit left the food tasting way too salty), I was hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it was pretty inconsistent all around. We ordered a generous spread for the table: Garlic bread, basket, 2 appetizers, Wings, Noodle soup, Papaya salad, Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice The Food: It truly felt like a coin toss--about half the dishes were decent, while the other half were completely mid. The Pad Thai was a particular letdown, as the noodles were noticeably overcooked. We also tried the basil lime wings, but they really just tasted like plain salt and pepper wings with a few basil leaves tossed on top as a garnish. To top off the strange pacing, the "must-have" garlic bread basket actually came out dead last instead of as a starter. The service felt a bit awkward. At one point, a staff member came by to check on us while still visibly chewing food in her mouth. Overall, between the uneven food quality, the odd timing, and the service hiccup, it just felt a bit cluttered and disorganized. Given that this was my second strike with the food consistency, I likely won't be rushing back.

Ambience is average to slightly modern but well lit decor. Being a weekday night, I think they weren't expecting too many people but at the time we went they had a 12 person party just seated. This made overall service extremely slow. I understand stuff happens but it would have been nice if we had been told upon being seated that service would be a bit slow due to being understaffed. Beyond just slow service the tables were sticky (my wife used the hand sanitizer on the table and a paper tissue to clean the table) and we had to ask for water twice. All that said, the owner apologised profusely when I went to the counter to pay, so there was some redemption. And now the food: We couldn't order everything we were hoping to try given the long wait time, but here's my rating for what we did order: Malaysian Noodle Soup (3/5): when it arrived it was barely lukewarm, so it loses a star. I was thinking soup will be served piping hot. The taste however pretty good. There's a kick to the broth but a good balanced broth on the whole with hint of coconut and light noodles (I don't like a soup where all you can see is noodle), which worked well for me. The only other thing was whosoever was adding the lettuce did a terribly lazy job - massive piece of lettuce sitting at the bottom. Banh Mi sandwich (3/5) - I'm a sucker for Banh Mi. For those who follow me, you will have heard me mention Bi Cycle Banh Mi more than once and that is the standard by which I judge all Banh Mis. While this Banh Mi didn't get close to Bicycle's, it wasn't bad on the whole. My only feedback would be add fewer jalapeños as they completely overpowered the subtle tastes of the sauces. Pad Thai (3/5): pad Thai looked as it was supposed to but it was missing one of the veggies as described in the menu. Taste was a bit bland but a dash of lemon fixed it. Khow Suey (3.5/5) - my wife gives this a score of 3.5, which says a lot. Good amount of veggies but wished the broth was a bit thicker. But she liked the spice levels and felt it hit her palette just right. Overall, I'd like to come back when it's a little less crowded so we can truly get a taste of the variety thats offered. Let's see what the future holds...

If you're looking for a unique and memorable dining experience, Kusan Bazaar is the place to be! This cozy gem offers Uyghur cuisine with a delightful mix of Central Asian flavors. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a warm, fine-dining vibe with relaxing music that sets the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. The menu is packed with standout dishes, and every bite tells a story. I highly recommend the Wellington-Style Lamb Shank, which is as tender as it is flavorful. The Slow Roasted Beef Rib and Lamb Ribs are perfectly cooked and delicious. If you're a fan of kebabs, the Lamb Kebab is a must-try! Don't forget to order the Big Plate Chicken or one of their amazing noodle soups for a hearty and satisfying experience. Service at Kusan Bazaar is excellent. The staff is patient and friendly, and while dishes like the barbecue items can take a bit longer during busy hours (20-30 minutes), the wait is well worth it. The restaurant is located in a large plaza with plenty of parking, though it can get busy during dinner hours. Luckily, finding parking is still manageable, and the restaurant's large, clear signage makes it easy to spot. One of the most unique features of this place is the view of the kitchen through their big windows. It's fascinating to watch the chefs at work while enjoying your meal. It definitely adds a special touch to the dining experience. For the quality of food and ambiance, the prices here are very reasonable. Most main courses are between $18 to $25, and dishes like the beef ribs and lamb ribs, which would cost much more at high-end restaurants. They also run occasional promotions--this week, the Wellington-Style Lamb Shank was only $9.99 (normally $29)! Overall, Kusan Bazaar is a true hidden treasure. Whether you're a fan of Uyghur cuisine or just want to try something new, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu! read more

Extremely Slow Service, One Dish Took an Hour The food was mostly okay -- the lamb dishes were solid, and the flavors were about what we expected. The beef salad, though, was a total miss. The beef was dry, overcooked, and hard to chew. But the real problem here is the service, or really, the lack of it. Dishes came out painfully slow, and we waited a full hour for our last dish, the Lamb Cumin Chaomian. That's not an exaggeration -- we were just sitting there, waiting. When we finally asked the server, her attitude was dismissive and borderline rude. No apology, no explanation. I get that places can be understaffed or busy, but at least acknowledge the delay. This just felt like they didn't care. Definitely not coming back. read more

I came here because I saw a lot of high ratings online and many people seemed to love this place. But honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I tried the hand-pulled lamb, the big plate chicken, and the cured meat. The food was okay -- not terrible, but nothing special either. Just very average, definitely not as good as the reviews made it sound. The service was also so-so. The staff didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, more like "here's your food, that's it." Overall, it didn't live up to the hype. Not sure I would come back again. read more

I've been to this restaurant three times already, and it's easily the best Uyghur restaurant in the Bay Area. They offer both traditional dishes and creative fusion options, and every visit has been an incredible experience. The flavors are rich, the food is always delicious, and there's something new to discover each time. The service is outstanding, especially from the owner, who goes out of his way to make customers feel welcome. I absolutely love this place--if you're in the area, you have to give it a try! read more

I had an amazing experience at this Uyghur restaurant. The lamb kebabs were incredibly flavorful and juicy, grilled to perfection with just the right blend of spices. The laghman noodles stood out -- super bouncy, chewy, and packed with flavor from the rich stir-fried topping. The pilaf (polo) was a pleasant surprise: light, aromatic, and refreshing, a perfect balance to the bolder dishes. Every bite felt like a trip through Central Asia. Highly recommend! read more

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The lamb dishes are incredibly delicious, with the meat being so tender, not greasy at all. The noodles are perfectly chewy and have great texture. Also Highly recommend their golden crispy lamb. Their homemade yogurt is also so delicious! The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. I had an amazing experience at this Kusan bazaar! The flavors were bold and authentic -- the lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The hand-pulled noodles were chewy and full of rich, savory taste. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Rating: (5/5) "Can't…read morego wrong with them" might sound like a bold statement, but Dish N Dash consistently delivers with fantastic food and refreshing drinks across multiple visits! First Visit Highlights: Falafel, Veggie & Baba Ghanoush Wrap: Great flavor and very satisfying. Chicken Salad (with Hummus & Fries): Delicious, huge portion, and the Za'atar chips added a wonderful crunch. Tabsi Kufta with Basmati Rice: Extremely rich and filling. Mint Lemonade: Super refreshing! We actually had to get to-go boxes for both the salad and the Tabsi because the portions were so generous. Second Visit Highlights: Mansaf: The lamb was slow-cooked to perfection in aged yogurt and so tender it fell apart. Absolutely incredible. Falafel Salad (with Tabbouleh & Hummus): Fresh and flavorful. The Za'atar chips were missing this time, but the salad was so good we didn't even mind. Cucumber Mint Lemonade: The ultimate drink for hot weather! Atmosphere, Service & Parking: The ambience is great with plenty of seating options, plus an impressive menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Ordering is smooth: grab a printed menu on your way in, order at the counter, and take a seat while they bring the food to you. You can also use the QR code at your table to order extra items from your phone. Parking is easy with plenty of spots. Just a heads up: the dumpster area further out in the parking lot has a strong odor, so try to park a bit further away from that section. Overall, fantastic food every time. Highly recommended!

Tarim Garden

Uyghur Home Now…read more Tarim Garden sits in a nondescript strip mall situated along the Foodie Highway and serves up one of the hardest cuisines to find: Chinese Uyghur (pronounced wee-goo'r). Because of its location in NW China, Uyghur cuisine is a natural fusion of Chinese, multiple "Stans" (e.g., Pakistan, Kazakhstan, etc.), and is predominantly Muslim in population. The food is 100% authentic, as the proprietor, Lei Han, is a third-generation chef from the Ili region. Their food has already captured the attention of Bay Area food critics and was featured by SF Eater and recently included in the local PBS Station's 2026 "What to Eat in the Bay Area"** list for the South Bay. The Good: * All meats are 100% Halal (حلال) * Large shared parking lot * Order via QR code * Friendly service * Very reasonable prices and giant portions. Even we had leftovers! :8) * Pan-fried Lamb and Onion Dumplings were a bit underseasoned for my liking, but the flavor and texture were delicious. * Stir-Fried Noodles was another winner, with delicious noodles and tender chicken. Please note that the menu doesn't reflect that it comes with meat, but it does. We didn't really care either way, but some people might. * The Laghman (a type of hand-pulled noodle) is the thing to get here, as the flavor and texture of them were phenomenal. You could lock me in a room with a bucket of them, and I'd be happy as a clam. The Meh: * No alcohol * You can order through the app but have to pay the old-fashioned way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Ugly: * Despite critical acclaim and being open for several years, it's a bit staggering how low the review count (67?!) is here on Yelp. Conclusion: Delicious food, great service, and fair pricing. What are you waiting for?? **https://www.kqed.org/forum/2010101912573/what-to-eat-in-the-bay-area-in-2026

We ordered Lamb Leg Pilaf, Spicy Lamb Stir-Fried Noodles, and pan-fried lamb dumplings. The Lamb Leg Pilaf was quite disappointing because both the lamb and rice tasted bland. The menu also didn't indicate the level of spiciness, which was a little confusing. The pan-fried lamb dumplings were the only dish we really liked. The lamb filling was tender and flavorful. Overall, the food was just okay, and the lamb dumplings were definitely the highlight of the meal.

The wings were crispy and perfectly seasoned, especially with the fries, while the garlic chicken came with incredibly flavorful Hainan rice and a comforting, savory chicken broth on the side. Pompano fish is more flavorful and with less bones than tilapia but both are nicely seasoned However I wanted to try the dry rubbed chicken breast. In other reviews I read the grilled chicken is somewhat juicy so I was hopeful that the chicken breast was the same. The chicken breast with the dry rub contained stirfry vegetables like bell pepper, red onion, jalapeños and french fries. But the chicken breast itself was in nugget pieces and overly overly overly fried. When I opened the box and took a nugget it was hard as a rock and when I used my hands to peel it it was more coding or batter than the actual chicken meat. I wouldn't really recommend the signature mala mix if you have similar taste to me, it was very heavy on the mala and slightly sour and too soy saucey for my taste. We also had a toilet paper outage in the bathroom, but one of the employees quickly fixed that. The food: (Recommended without Reservation) XLB (Original Pork Soup Dumpling 8pc) - Great! Thin but sturdy wrappers. Lots of soup. Good meaty flavor. Pan Fried Pork Bun 6pc - A success. Crusty bottom. Same meat and soup as the XLB. Salted Egg Custard Bun 4pc- Sweet and salty liquid gold. A very good version of this. Scallion Pancake 6pc - These were almost like they were shallow-fried. Puffy and crispy. Crowd favorite. Sauteed Green Bean - The Green Bean is pretty standard, but it comes topped with some fried shallots (?) that adds flavor and gives it some crispy texture. The topping is on the salty side, so make sure you ration properly. (Recommended) Shrimp Egg Chive Empanada 3pc- Pretty good. Crispy outside. (The other dishes) Steamed BBQ Pork Bun 3pc - This was fine. A little over steamed and soft. Cucumber Salad - Large slices of cucumber and very mildly seasoned. Not very interesting at all. Really different from the more intense flavors from a Smashed Cucumber dish. Mochi Cake 3pc - Reminds me a little like the Ma Lai Go steamed cake you get at Dim Sum, but a little stickier. It has a really strong yeast fermented smell and taste to it. Rainbow Salad - the veggies and noodles were ok. The sauce was a one-dimensional sesame sauce. Depending on what you order, you could have an amazing meal or a pretty disappointing meal here. I'm rating M Dumpling on their best dishes. I'm not usually this prescriptive when reviewing restaurants, but if you go by my list, I think you'll have a very good experience.

This is our second time coming here because we genuinely enjoyed the food during our first visit…read more However, our experience this time was disappointing. We came on a Friday night, so we understood that the restaurant would likely be busier than usual. However, we weren't expecting to wait over 40 minutes after putting our name down on their iPad waitlist. What made the experience even more frustrating was seeing a family who arrived well after us approach the staff to request a table and get seated before we did. Meanwhile, we had already been waiting and had properly added our names to the waitlist. We understand that Fridays can be busy, and we're willing to wait for a table. However, we expect the waitlist to be handled fairly and for customers to be seated in the order they arrived, unless there's a reasonable explanation otherwise. It's unfortunate because we really liked the food during our first visit, but the way the wait was handled this time left a bad impression. Good food is important, but so is good customer service. Unfortunately, this experience makes us hesitant to return.
