Happy hour buy 1 get 1 boba is a really good deal! I ordered the new tofu pudding boba and loved it. This place has nice decorations and plenty of seating for big groups. Nice place for casual dining and snacks.

Family combo

We ordered the family meal combo. It feeds 4-5 people at least. The chicken is cooked quite well, but I still think I prefer only popcorn chicken. The four drinks that come with the combo can be anything under $5.50. Unfortunately, their milk tea option tastes extremely powdery. The service was overall very friendly and prompt.

Vege & Grilled Cheese Burger & Sakura Yogurt w/ Red Bean

I really really liked the vibe here! They have very comfortable seating and the decoration is modern and fun. For some reason I thought it was a counter-service place, but there is table service. It's super casual though. Very nice staff! I got there around 1:30 on a Sunday and was surprised to find the place almost empty, but it meant I got a huge couch to myself. The food menu mainly focuses on Taiwanese-style fried food. Lots of chicken, lots of beef, some seafood, very limited vegetarian. I decided to try the "Vege and Grilled Cheese Burger". I was not really sure what this would entail but it was significantly cheaper than the salmon burger ($6 vs $12) I was considering so I decided to take the chance. The reason it was so cheap became clear once it was brought out and I saw that it was literally a cheeseburger without the patty. Just cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles with sauce on a bun. Mostly lettuce. Based on what was there, I could imagine that an actual burger from them would be delicious if you had that craving, but this was a sad excuse for a vegetarian sandwich. For drinks, there's wide variety of bubble tea, and they also have a basic selection of beer, wine, and spirits. I had a much more successful experience with the drink. I got the seasonal Sakura Yogurt Drink. The floral flavour was strong but natural and the yogurt gave it some nice tang so it wasn't too sweet. It came with crystal jelly, but I didn't realize this when I ordered so I also added red bean, which actually also went really well with the sakura flavour. The layering with a juice layer with topping, a yogurt layer, a slush, and then whipped cream and pretzels on top was pretty and fun to drink. This was about $8, which was really worth it for the complexity and size of the drink. I got the medium size (the smaller of two options) and it was still pretty big! I would definitely recommend the drinks and I would give the food another try and just try something different.

the interior of the restaurant

New bubble tea shop in Yaletown. We came here today in lunch time and store was quite. The atmosphere and interior decor is trendy. Such a great place to chill with great food and beverage options. Customer service is also friendly and attentive. The server comes several times to check if we need anything. We order a drink and a combo to try. Apparently they have fried chicken/food menu inside Kurotaki bbt shop. Ji Box chicken- many interesting combination items I want to try, but too bad I was not too hungry when I arrived today. * A whole lime green tea ($7.50): only available in one size, which is large. Based on the price and the taste, well, it's not bad at all but I probably wont order it again. It a light drink and great to pair with fried food. I will probably order other signature drinks next time. * Chicken Burger (Combo $18): combo also includes fries and salad. It's a big plate with stacked fried chicken burger and lots fries. Salad is fresh and clean and loved their salad dressing. I even used it to dip my fries and they taste more yummy than the ketchup. Back to the main point- chicken burger. My god, it's really meaty and juicy. The meat is well seasoned and tastes spicy. Be careful if you can't handle any spicy food but if you CAN, please go and try it! It is really delicious. The veggie and tomato inside makes everything taste lighter and gives some freshness. Great balance burger. Lastly, the fries are thin slices which are extra crispy. Lots of seasoning with the fries as well. Overall, order the chicken.

Popcorn Chicken with Cheese Fondue

Place was easy to find. It's just close to the Yaletown station. When we arrived, we were greeted by their friendly staff and seated. Menu has a good selection of appetizer, main and drinks. We ordered their cheese chop, popcorn chicken with cheese fondue and calamari. All of them went above our expectations. They were really good and serving was generous. Their place was clean and comfortable. Good place to meet up with friends since it wasn't loud in there. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and will come back.

I came across this cafe on google search and decided to try it out with a couple of my friends on…read moreour girls coffee It is a small cozy cafe split with a florist. Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

He rang us up, then ran behind curter to make our drinks. It didn't seem too busy here so maybe it was manageable for him. Typically all sold out of the mochi... was actually sold out of a lot of items (see picture of menu) No public bathroom or bathrooms available to customers. Located in strip mall with other businesses, parking is free.

This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
