We arrived on a Friday night for dinner recently. The Thai restaurant is located in an older plaza in Cupertino off Homestead Road. Parking is accessible in the large parking lot out front. As soon as you walk towards the restaurant, there are a lot of people waiting to be seated. There is a Yelp waitlist tablet in the front to check in at. The wait is efficient and goes by quick. Even though the atmosphere is bustling, they quickly turnover the customers tables with food brought out quickly and fast clean up service. The Thai restaurant has nice simple modern cultural decor. There are plenty of tables and booths for dine in. The vibe is family friendly and humming. We ordered the Pad Thai with crispy pork, Crab Fried Rice, Chicken Satay skewers, Tom Yum soup, Asahi Beer, and an Asian sojito. Everything was authentic and delicious. The Pad Thai was scrumptious with every bite. Crispy pork was crispy and complemented the dish. The Tom Yum soup was flavorful and soothing. Crab fried rice was savory and fluffy. The tasty peanut sauce went very well with the tender chicken skewers. Our alcohol beverages were refreshing. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Siam Station. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Although they did not check in with our table and other tables that much. The price point was fair. The portions were big. When we are in the area again, we would definitely be back to try other dishes as well.

I tried the fried tofu and Khao Soi. Two off notes...the menu came out which was soaking wet with water (I think) and kinda gross. I like the Roti and they only had it as dessert. I asked if I could get it as a appetizer with curry sauce. The waiter said yes but it came out with condensed milk and sugar. Ended up being a miscommunication with the waiter which was OK.

I asked while pointing to my Pixel Wings, "Are these wings double-fried?"…read more My waiter gave an emphatic, "Yes!" The Pixel Wings were deeply golden, with crunchy ridges that were audibly crisp. The chicken wings were adorably small, but every wing was crunch-worthy, with tender, juicy meat inside. Paired with the bright, chili-flecked house sauce, this small plate left a big impression! This was the second time my husband and I visited Must Be Thai. The other times we attempted to come here, the restaurant was packed, and we had to go somewhere else. This time, we found a nice window of opportunity for a Monday lunch. I enjoy this restaurant because it has a unique way of organizing its menu, emphasizing the regions of Thailand from which the dishes originate. It encouraged my husband and me to explore something new on the menu, as though we were traveling to that region ourselves. Besides the Pixel Wings, we traveled to Southeast Thailand to try The Ex Rockfish. The presentation was wonderfully dramatic. The whole rockfish arrived opened and deep-fried, curving around the bowl while a colorful tumble of buttery pieces of fish and peppers filled the center. A zesty green dipping sauce was also provided to cut through the richness of the dish. Pair that with a bowl of jasmine rice and some Thai iced tea and *chef's kiss*. This was a dish we had never tried before, and I'm glad our waitress recommended it! Another thing I enjoy about this restaurant is the youthful cheekiness of its ambiance. The dining room has a playful, urban-industrial aesthetic softened by warm wood and light colors. It feels both relaxing and energetic. The mural boasts a chaotic depiction of what appears to be a tuk-tuk and Godzilla fighting off some durian. The menu has a similar vibe. Despite all this playfulness, they don't mess around when it comes to food quality. Friendly service, great food, and a fun ambiance - we'll be coming back for more!

Fresh spring rolls with shrimp we're served instantly which is always a sign they've been prepared and sitting in the fridge therefore clear wrap is hard and not soft as it should be. Patay with chicken okay but lacked in flavor. Tom yum fried rice extremely salty. In fact I couldn't eat it. The shrimp and calamari in it were okay and not salty like the rice. I ate here 2 years ago and wasn't impressed then, but my friend wanted to go here so I thought I'd give it another try. Never again. I will stick to the Thai restaurants I know.

They were pretty one-note in flavor and felt underwhelming. The crab fried rice and Panang braised beef were both enjoyable, but neither dish was particularly memorable or something I'd go out of my way to order again. The braised beef itself was tender, but it was served in large chunks that didn't make for the most appetizing presentation. The Thai iced tea was also noticeably sweeter than what I'm used to, which may work for some people but wasn't my preference. One thing that stood out for the wrong reason was the pacing of the meal. Our crab fried rice arrived first, followed by the curry puffs, and then the Panang beef came out last. The timing felt disjointed, especially since you'd expect the appetizers to arrive before the entrées. The biggest issue, though, is the value. The prices are on the higher end for Thai food, and when the overall experience is just average, it's hard to justify the cost. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Overall, it was an okay meal, but with so many great Thai restaurants around, I don't see myself coming back.

I am one of those people who thinks that just about every meal needs animal protein or it won't be satisfying. Well, Happy Flower proved me wrong because I came away with a very happy and full stomach and I did not even miss the meat! We ordered 8 different dishes to share family style, and I was especially pleased with the all seasons sampler and vegan fried rolls appetizers, as well as the pad Thai, salted fish fried rice, hainan chicken rice, tomato fish, and happy clay pot entrees. Each dish was quite large such that all 9 of us were able to try generous portions of each dish. And then we got two servings of the mango sticky rice to share and the mango was amazingly sweet! I did not try their boba drinks, but a few of my friends ordered drinks and enjoyed them. Their boba drinks are sized quite large as well. I will say, the meat doesn't necessarily taste like the meat it purports to imitate, but the textures for the fake chicken and fish are pretty spot on! Service was friendly and helpful and they delivered the dishes at a good pace. The inside isn't fancy, but it's clean and well lit and spacious. I wish I had known about this hidden gem sooner, but they had a good clip of takeout orders and families coming in for dinner. Parking is also plentiful and easy in their large attached lot. Personally I'm not a big fan of rice noodles, but this dish really made it work. The garlic noodles on the other hand were so-so. I honestly couldn't really taste the garlic, and it was a bit bland. The sauce they have on the side was really needed for this dish to have any notable taste. Would skip this one.

Even their sesame chicken - I like how they have a lot of little fried bits, smaller than a normal sesame chicken, so good. Also their Burma House noodles are basically pad thai, and excellent as well. Just a huge fan of the flavors here.
