We were originally going to eat dinner in Columbia on way to a movie that night. But I said we should eat near here and then go to Bruster's here. After Maiwand Grill, we walked across the street to Bruster's. Cashier was nice. I asked about a couple of recommendations. He let me sample. Ultimately, I got Pumpkin Patch & Caramel Apple Crunch. Both were excellent. My girlfriend got another combo, which I tried a bite and was good too. They had a couple of outside booths/benches. The shop is an outside storefront. My g/f said she wants to come back. I said that I doubt I'll be back in 2026, as I'd be leaving for Indiana in 26 days for sadly my high dose chemo with stem cell replacement for my cancer but 90% cure rate. My girlfriend is coming with me tomorrow as I write this for the injections & stem cell collection before the high dose chemo begins in 8 days from now. I'll be out of the hospital after finishing 2nd round hopefully late December. Maybe 2 weeks with parents 1.5 hours away and then back home in MD in early January. My g/f said she might go on her own to Bruster's. I said if you want, I can't blame you. We will be back in 2027 after I'm well enough.
