I love this coffee shop. It's so welcoming and peaceful. Plus the coffee and matcha is amazing!

Haraz is a great cafe with lots of drinks and desserts to choose from. This place is probably the closest you'll get to Dubai in the MoCo area lol. It's a chill spot, and I usually bring my laptop to get work done while sipping on tea or eating a pastry. It gets very busy during certain hours and days, and some times it's difficult to find a seat. I've tried their version of a chai latte, and although it doesn't taste like authentic chai, it tastes alright. One version has saffron, and I think the drink is an acquired taste. The desserts also have unique spices in it, and it may just be saffron that's used in all their food and drinks, but it definitely doesn't taste like the typical American desserts we're all probably used to. I've enjoyed both the saffron and rose milk cake, and I also liked the Syrian cheese bread. I'm looking forward to trying their other menu items!

I had heard from a friend about Haraz Coffee house in Fairfax and this location just opened up so thought to give this a try. Everything we ordered was good except the service. We waited for our order for a long time and then when we asked they said they delivered to the wrong table. Our son was waiting for biscoff cake and after 20 mins when i went and checked she said she will get it and I had to really use a loud tone as our was really hungry. The girl on the counter was so confused and the server too. They had no idea what they were doing. I wish the service was good because their coffees and cakes were too good. Bad service just took away the experience.

This Yemeni cafe that opened up in Burtonsville is SO amazing, I will 100% be coming back here for those coffee chats with friends. The place is very extravagantly decorated, the presentation of food is beautiful, service is top notch, and there is so much seating. I am not a big coffee drinker so I loved the Saffron tea! The saffron flavor was so clear! We shared the medium pot for 3 people and it was plenty and totally worth it, it came with cute cups. I also really enjoyed the honeycomb bread, it was light & fluffy, perfect for a morning treat -- there is cheese in it but it's not overwhelming at all. I also loved the Dubai mosaic cake, probably not the most "morning food" but it was rich and thick I would totally eat it again in the AM. I thought the Syrian bread was alright compared to the other two. Strongly recommend checking this place out!

It's nice to have another coffee option nearby! This coffee house is the newest additon to Burtonsville Crossing! They opened a few weeks ago so the staff is still getting their footing. Word has spread because the place is packed. The interior and decor is nice! I really enjoyed my salted caramel latte - it was very rich and tasty! I took mine to go but this is definitely a place I wouldn't mind sitting down. They have a variety of desserts and pastries. Next time I'll try one.

Went to the soft opening. Lovely large venue perfect for socializing and vibing. Friendly and fast service. Lots of coffee, tea, matcha, refresher options available. Also, lots of baked goodies. So glad it's nearby!!!

Glad a location is now open in this area! There are so many options to choose from, but got a large Karak Chai and a Rose Milk Cake. The chai is nicely spiced and tasty while the rose milk cake is soft, moist, and delicious. The interior decoration I love and there's ample seating. Quick service and kind staff. Will definitely be coming back to get some work done here.

My friend had been raving about this place all week and how she wanted to go there together. After a long day at work/school, we decided to do it. This is my first time in Haraz, and I am obsessed. I got the salted caramel latte and the Biscoff milk cake, and wow, wow, wow, delicious. My friends also got some sweet treats, and everything was perfect. We went around 6/7 pm, and it was pretty quiet. We have our sweet bits and just yap while we drink and eat. This might be my new spot to get work done and chill. It is so cozy and cute, and I love the vibe. I really like the spot and look forward to trying other items.

First of all the aesthetics in this place are beautiful! I didn't end up taking too many pictures as it was pretty packed for a Friday afternoon with people doing work and catching up with friends. The service was great as well. I started ordering the iced hibiscus drink and paid for it. Two seconds later I realized I actually wanted a matcha and they were kind enough to replace my order. The matcha was really good, I was a big fan! I also ordered a honeycomb bread which I didn't realize had cream cheese inside. Personally I wasn't a fan of the cream cheese but the bread is a great option as a side if you buy the coffee. Not sure it paired well with the matcha however.

Good drinks, sweet treats & meaningful conversation. Haraz Coffee House delivered a clean and lively vibe that made catching up with my girlfriends even better. Seems like an upscale Starbucks, lol

It was a Monday night and my friends wanted something sweet. The hours for this cafe was great, they close at 10pm! When we walked in, I was surprised by how beautiful the restaurant was, from a large wooden wall piece about Yemen and just the upscale styling and various people hanging out brought a great atmosphere. I had the biscoff milk cake, and it was so delicious, light and creamy. Reminded me of a light tres leches. We also got the honey bread (bee bites) and was surprised by it! I expected something savory but it was a fresh, light taste covered in sesame seeds and honey, filled with cream cheese. It'd be perfect with coffee! Staff was wonderful, we got our desserts super I definitely want to come back again with my family for sure!

Really enjoyed my drink at this new coffee spot. I wasn't in the mood for coffee when I went so opted for something else to drink. I got the mango dragonfruit refresher and it was really tasty. I also saw that they have a dragonfruit matcha that I have to come back and try.

The Chicken tenders weren't tender and the coating was over-salted. The full rack of BBQ Pork ribs was a winner, tender and meaty with great flavor. The Slow-smoked Chicken is delicious and a nice, moist change from the usual chicken treatments. The Smoked Chicken Wings were great too. I wouldn't get the Texas Beef Brisket or the Carolina Pulled Pork again, but they weren't bad, just lots of other choices that were better! The sides here are stand-outs too. I almost didn't get the vegetarian Collard Greens since I love collards cooked with meat but these were delicious -- they never made it to the microwave, they were so vinegary-good when I sampled them cold lol! The Mac & Cheese was good and cheesy. The baked beans were good but again vegetarian where I'd prefer meat included and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. The Skillet Cornbread is the best I've had, slightly sweet with a good corn flavor that made me decide to buy a WHOLE skillet rather than just the generously portioned slice next time, especially since it's such a good value. I do regret not trying the coleslaw and potato salad so again, next time. The little rolls are tasty too, moist and slightly sweet but it's a pity they aren't burger-size so you can make a sandwich with all that delicious meat and sides.

I don't recall any meat in the greens. And, the Mac and cheese, I enjoyed the texture, but wish the flavor profile had sharp cheddar cheese, but it was still good. I will say prepare a budget cause there's a lot to get, I ended up spending around $40 for everything I got. Let's start with the beef lumpia. It was crispy and tasted pretty good. I'm a sucker for spice so I would've loved it to be a little spicier or maybe offer some chili oil on the side. Next is the star of the show, the lechon kawaii bowl. The pork is so tender and perfectly crispy! I added garlic rice instead of the usual which was a great addition. I asked to try their vinegar sauce which comes with garlic and jalapeño in it which I found to be amazing. Lastly, the taro milk tea is heavenly, I'm still thinking about it!!! The service was friendly and because it was my first time they even offered me a coupon for the next time I come back and I will definitely be back! Plenty of indoor seating as well with a whole market inside where you can find an assortment of Filipino food, snacks, drinks, and desserts.

Sisig, pass. It was too spicy and also dry. We do like the grocery section. The service is nice and the Ube shake is great. Will be happy to return for grocery needs, but not the restaurant. Food seemed rushed, out of a can, unfresh and not worth the high prices. We will cook Filipino dishes at home instead.
