    Caramel Macchiato
    Aisha A.

I came by on a Sunday afternoon to get some work done. I enjoyed a caramel macchiato, which was good and about $5-6. There's a good amount of seating. I liked sitting at their high tables and people-watching while working. My biggest cons for this cafe are: 1) the lack of outlets. Luckily, my laptop was fully charged when I arrived, but I wish there were more readily accessible outlets. 2) The interior is very black/white, and it comes across as very cold to me, which is why I have been hesitant to do work here. I am sure many people love that vibe. However, I prefer a cozier vibe and want to feel comfortable. It took me a while to feel comfortable and find my focus, especially since the chairs next to me were all super wobbly. The service was okay. Getting ringed up was a little weird. I couldn't tell if the person was being a bit standoffish or just awkward, but the other person who made my coffee was really nice and made my drink look delectable. I don't know if I will come back. I could try some of their other drinks, but I wouldn't stay to do any work, since it's hard to get into a good flow and stay focused.

    Their coffee roaster

I am always excited when a new coffee shop opens in my neighborhood, but always skeptical when they roast their own beans, as Prime does. The espresso I had was mediocre. Not unpalatable, but definitely not enjoyable. The tea selection is solid (an assortment from Stash) and the baked goods look promising, but I wasn't there to eat. The espresso came out very quickly; I imagine they would keep service moving briskly even if there was a line. The ambiance is bland, but there is plenty of seating and the space is not too loud. I imagine it would be echo-y if crowded as it has high ceilings and a lot of hard surfaces I will try them again and update this when I've tried the food, but now I know not to expect much of the coffee.

This new coffee shop is spacious, with plenty of natural light and a menu ranging from light fare to hearty meals. I visited on a Sunday morning between 10 and 12, and it wasn't crowded. I ordered a coffee with almond milk, oatmeal porridge, and an almond croissant. I grabbed a number and sat at a table to wait for my order. A server came by ten minutes later to ask what I had ordered, which made it clear they need a better system for tracking orders. He brought me black coffee without the almond milk. I had to return to the coffee station to have almond milk added to my cup. I also noticed that the people next to me received an incorrect entrée, which the server corrected immediately. The oatmeal porridge was delicious and filling; however, the almond croissant wasn't anything special. It had too much powdered sugar on top and didn't compare to the ones I've had elsewhere. I'm sure this place will do well once it streamlines its ordering process and improves both speed and accuracy when fulfilling orders.

    Fava Plate (Ful)

Overall I've liked a lot of their food but they put cumin in their ful(fava beans) and I found it to be terrible. Great service and ambiance is nice.

Pistachio croissant with the smallest amount of pistachio possible
    David M.

Drip coffee was good not great. I tried a pistachio croissant because it sounded intriguing - I was rewarded with a regular croissant that had the most minuscule amount of filling possible. Croissant itself was fine, just expensive for what it was. The service was fairly quick but not very friendly. The space itself is beautiful, as are all the pastry case items - but nothing all that special here.

Waffles! They weren't on the menu but they had a sign saying they're serving them.

We also got a double shot of espresso and the coffee was fresh and just perfect. Service was perfect and they asked all the necessary questions such as dairy restrictions and if we wanted any add ons. The venue is beautiful they have music lightly playing in the background and a lot of people come here to work from home so perfect place to come to catch up with your friends , relax or work.

Came here for the first time with a friend around 10:30am on a Saturday. I ordered their medium…read morechai latte (hot) with no sweetner, and a ham and cheese croissant sandwich with havarti cheese and avocado. Total came out to approximately $18. What's Hot - Quality. My egg and cheese croissant sandwich, which I ordered with havarti cheese and avocado was delicious. It was served warm. Everything was soft and tender. My sandwich was not overly salty, as well, which I appreciated. I was also surprised that my sandwich was served with fries. The fries were tasty, but too thin for my liking. My chai tea latte was also yummy, not too frothy, and not sweet, as I ordered no sweetener. - Menu. There appears to be something for everyone- coffee, non-caffeinated drinks, sweet baked good, savory baked goods, non-dairy options, and full meals. - Service. The time I waited for my order to be ready was fairly brief. Probably less than 10 minutes. My drink and food were ready separately and did not come together. They call out your name for your order, so make sure you are paying attention. - Price. For spending less than $20 on a meal, I would say it's pretty good value for money. My egg and cheese croissant sandwich was also substantive and not skimpy, which was good. - Layout. The inside has a pretty good space. There are counters with high stool seating, and a fair amount of tables and chair for regular seating, as well. - Location. Convenient, especially to other restaurants and shops. there is also parking in the area. However, be prepared to spend time and money on parking, depending on the day and time you come. What's Not - Service. It appears to be mostly self-service. After you enter their front entrance, there are two kiosks for self-service ordering. On the one hand, it's helpful if you know what you're ordering. On the other hand, if you have questions, their kiosks are not conducive for that. They have baked goods section, which appears to also be self-serve. However, I was uncertain how that actually worked, because I did not see an in-person cashier. - Layout. Depending on the size of your group, and day and time you come, seating can be difficult to come by. Most of their seating appears to be cramped, as well (i.e., many of their sit down tables and chairs are very close together). - Acoustics. They play music inside at a volume that is not very conducive for conversation. - Parking. There is parking in the area, but it can be difficult to find, depending on the day and time you come. On the day my friend and I were here, there was a lot of snow piled up, so finding street parking was very difficult. There are parking lots in the area, most of which are paid parking, so be mindful of the time you spend. There appears to be free parking in the area, but those are not easy to come by depending on the day and time. Final Answer Willing to come back, but probably not a first choice.

Rox Cafe is located in the Colesville Business Park, and it's on the front side. These little cafes connected to businesses are worth exploring, I tell ya! The ladies in here were very friendly, and they have great prices. They have sandwiches, smoothies, desserts, drinks, the works. One sandwich stood out, and it was a breakfasty one called the Bernard sandwich. It was described as having egg whites, spinach, turkey, a special mayo, and more on rye bread. It... was... DELICIOUS. I came to find out later that it was named after a pretty regular customer who came up with that. So awesome! This is isn't close to home, but for anyone who is in the area or wants a quiet change in scenery, they've got wifi. Work there, I think it's great!
