Eggs Benedict - one avocado, one sweet potato
    Adam P.

The food is really well done. I got the eggs Benedict with the sweet potato and the avocado. I did not realize those were the topping options I thought they were the sides for some reason. In the future I'd probably get both Avocado as that is probably the best bang for the buck. I did feel it was a little expensive for two poached eggs on bread, but I did enjoy it. Next time I need to try the shakshuka which I do see lots of people getting. The service is very good and they greet you with a smile. If you want to dine in, make sure to go straight to the counter.

Great addition to the neighborhood. I went on a Sunday. They were packed inside and out. Bagels are much cheaper here ($1.35) than at Einstein Bagel. I got bagels to go and a chocolate croissant for breakfast the next day. Bagels are great, and so was my croissant that I am not sure they make here. The counter girl was really sweet and inviting. I'll have to come earlier next time if I want a seat, so maybe in the fall when the weather is cooler. It's kosher which is great for the community hence the reason they are closed on Saturdays.

    Pancakes and Pretzel Truffle

Service started off well for the first 5 minutes but then our server forgot about us, leaving us sitting for over 15 minutes while a table that came in way after us was served and left before us. Which would be fine, if the food was actually good. The pancakes texture was AMAZING but the taste was a 1/10. It was like... flavorless bread. The taste was so bland that even maple syrup could barely help it. And it was dry. The burger sandwich thingy was supposed to have truffles but it tasted like shiitake instead. The place was pretty though but the food was subpar

I also picked up some warm freshly baked bagels (jalapeño, blueberry, plain, chocolate chip, and cinnamon raisin) to share with colleagues/friends). The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a small spot so more of a pick up and go. Stop by and check them out, they have been around for 30 years. Highly recommend!!!

A true NYer, at this "Deli" in DC?!? YEP! This restaurant was it!! There is a full beer, wine and snack store in the front, on the left side, the deli and desserts on the right side. The restaurant is in the back. So, as stated, I had my order to go. I ordered the twin deli on a Kaiser roll - one half pastrami, the other half corned beef, onion rings for the side, and a pickle. When I tell you EVERYTHING was delicious. It was delicious. I will say, the pastrami was my favorite. I LOVE pastrami!! Corned beef was tender, not dry. I'll say this... I have NEVER, had more delicious onion rings in my life!! Have you ever had a juicy onion ring before? Never have I ever. Ambiance was nice, very clean presenting. Staff was personable, friendly, extremely competent. I highly recommend.

The lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful when I purchased my cuts of meat to make burgers later at home, the space was clean, and food came out within 15 minutes. Funny story, it was my bday so I knew my Dad was coming by my house later in the evening so I saved him half of my cheesesteak bc I couldn't eat it all, and I really wanted him to try it. After initially refusing, he finally tasted it and said it was the best he's ever had, and this was hours later, after warming it up in the microwave. He asked me to send the address, and that this would be his new go to spot. Lol Definite 5 stars.

One time I was there, several people were in the store and the workers were laughing and talking behind the counter. About three minutes went by before I asked if someone could hand me my order. Right after that a customer who had been there before me asked if they could order, so there's no telling how long they had been waiting before I spoke up. It's never a pleasant experience. It's a local neighborhood spot so I try to support but at this point they're playing in my face.

(Major Plus) MY ORDER: Cheesy Garlic Bread Bagel * Bodega Style Eggs * Cheddar Cheese * Avocado Smash (+$3) + Oatmeal Hot Cocoa Now Here's My Honest Take: The Bagel Itself Was Delicious. Flavorful, Toasted Well, & You Could Taste The Garlic & Cheese. I'd Definitely Get The Bagel Again On Its Own Maybe Just Toasted With Butter Or Cream Cheese Next Time. But As A Combo? I Wasn't A Fan. The Eggs Were Disappointing & As A New York Native, I Have High Standards When It Comes To Bodega-Style Eggs. I Expected Fresh Cracked Eggs With That Fluffy, Buttery Flavor, It Just Wasn't Giving That. For The Price, I Expected Better Quality. The Avocado Smash Seemed Premade & Not Super Fresh. Paying An Extra $3 For It, I Expected A Brighter, Fresher Taste, So That Threw Me Off. I Honestly Think My Flavor Combo Just Didn't Work Together. The Maple Black Pepper, Cheddar, Or Even Everything Bagel Might've Paired Better With Those Toppings. OAT-MILK HOT COCOA It Was Okay, But Not Rich Or Chocolatey Enough For Me, I Wanted A Deeper Cocoa Flavor. My Total Came To $16, & For What I Got, I Personally Felt Like I Overpaid. Customer Service Was Nice & Super Friendly. It Got Busy Right After I Ordered, So It's Definitely A Popular Spot. You Can Order Online Or In Person, Which Is Convenient. The Aesthetic & Bagel Quality Are Strong. My Specific Combo Just Missed The Mark For Me Especially Being From New York, My Expectations For Eggs Are Up There.
