    Crogel sandwich

Cannot speak more highly about this place. When I came in, I introduced myself to the owners and they treated me like I was an honored guest. I saw them give the same treatment to other patrons. They were very helpful in getting me to choose from the menu. When they heard I came from out of town, they advised me to try the cro'gel (croissant bagel) that you only get in Maryland and recognizing my interest in different foods, recommended me the kouin amann. They also guides me through my matcha choice and advised on the best temperature for it. If I lived in the area, I would surely be a regular here!

I was looking for a coffee shop with wifi to get some work done and Yelp led me here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is warm, friendly and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The smoked salmon crogel was delicious but pricy Pro Tip: Get the crogel!

Very good. Nice well made croissant and salmon breakfast sandwich. My caramel macchiato was also delicious, one of the best I've ever had. On their menu they also have some interesting drinks that I haven't seen other places. Service was good. The place is a bit small but there is different types of seating at tables and along the windows. I definitely plan to visit again to try more stuff.

In a semi desperate search for coffee and a light breakfast option after an intense workout, I turned to yelp for a walkable nearby solution, and the new 5 star rated French Press popped up. French Press is a cute, clean, and modern coffee shop that also serves all sorts of french delicacies and pastries. The breakfast sandwiches are made to order, and are fresh and absolutely delicious-just make sure you specify if you want it served hot. The coffee options are equally as good. My vanilla almond milk latte was not overly sweet and had a perfect balance in favor and smoothness, and my friend enjoyed her matcha latte. The pastries were also good, but (perhaps personal preference) could have been served a bit warmer to give them a more softer, succulent taste and texture. Customer service was perfectly hospitable and attentive, and was a very personable experience. Seating is fine-with a few small round tables, one oblong wooden table, and counter seats available overlooking street view window. Overall, highly recommend trying out this new locally owned shop. pro tip-Street parking is available, but definitely walk for convenience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little coffee shop in downtown Bethesda with immaculate vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good for studying with multiple small tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't comment on the food, but the cappuccino I ordered was good, if extremely hot. I had to let it cool down for several minutes before being able to drink. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed the bar seating at the front which is perfect for solo relaxing and people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'd like to go back and try some of their other beverages, but for the music and atmosphere alone I'll give it 5 stars.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The crogel has entered my life and I'm not looking back. What a great place for coffee and a sandwich! The smoked salmon sandwich is a perfect breakfast. And the coffee here is amazing.

Flat white, iced chai latte, almond croissant, spinach quiche

Good: Coffee, customer service, ambiance Bad: Food, chai We got a flat white, iced chai latte, spinach quiche, and almond croissant. The flat white was good, but the chai latte was mediocre. The almond croissant tasted like it was a day or 2 old, and the quiche was inedible (even after heating and re-heating), so we ended up throwing it away. It's obvious that the food was not fresh, with the quiche being several days old at least. They said they got their pastries and quiche from Fresh Baguette, which is just down the road, so I'd recommend getting pastries or a quiche directly from there instead. I wanted to try a breakfast sandwich, but the only egg they have is hard boiled, which I'm not a fan of. Maybe their sandwiches would be better than what I had; however, my experience would make me weary of how fresh their ingredients are. The staff was friendly, and the seating area was decent. I liked the music and retro radio they have in the corner. I'd recommend this place if you want to hang out and grab a coffee or cafe drink, but I'd head elsewhere for food.

The coffee is great and the pastries are really good and fresh!! The staff is super nice and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a really good calm spot to enjoy!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Delicious, extremely friendly, great ambiance with relaxing atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm trying for the first time. I will definitely back.

A delicious egg n' avocado crogel (a croissant bagel!)

A great place for sandwiches. It was so good that we went back three separate times during our short trip to Bethesda.

Nice coffee and a very nice McIntosh sound system - the manager is very helpful if you want to listen to anything. Will return.

It ended up being better than I expected. 4 of us went here for dinner on a Sunday night and…read moreeverything was great despite them telling us there was only 1 server working that night. Whoever was working behind the bar ended up chipping in and everything ended up running smoothly. They took our order and we got our food all in a reasonable amount of time. We couldn't tell there was any problem if they hadn't of mentioned it. We ordered a burger, crab cake sandwich, seafood pasta and steak and all of our food was tasty and everyone finished what they had on their plates. We got 2 of the deserts and the Smith Island cake was just ok. I'd prob skip it next time. The ice cream was pretty good. When we left, they validated our parking and we were able to leave the gated lot no problem. So thanks for the good service even though they were short staffed and the tasty food. I'd def visit again.

We stopped in to coopers mill for dessert on a weekday. Located within Marriott, it was easy to…read morefind and they had lots of seats open at the bar. I had wanted to check this place out since I recently moved walking distance to Coopers mill. I'm glad we walked because parking is regulated and for hotel guests only. There is limited street parking on pooks hill. The bartender was lovely and we immediately were given menus, when we told him we were there for dessert he recommended the fried cookie dough which was delicious. Comes with taharka vanilla ice cream which I loved since I used to live in Baltimore! The presentation of the fried dough balls was very pretty as well. The other bartender Zobe was a pleasure to speak to. He recommended good drinks and even whipped up a chocolate martini at my boyfriend's request. This place is a little pricey with a very casual atmosphere, but I enjoyed my visit and we will be back!
