I usually grab takeout but am happy that my friend and me were able to dine in. Tip: reservations are highly suggested as the restaurant does fill up. I can't remember the name of the cocktails that we ordered, but they were both super cute and refreshing! For starters, we ordered Brussels sprouts, which were crispy and super flavorful. I ordered the Julii burger (medium well) and my friend ordered the steak frites. We shared our dishes, which was smart of us. The burger is always a 10/10 and the steak was good too! Had dinner with friends this past Friday and the food was okay. Ordered the truffle gnocchi, burger, and ceasar salad and none of it really stood out. The gnocchi was the biggest let down, small portion for it being pretty pricey, and tasted somewhat bitter. Burger meat needs more seasoning, tasted quite bland. And ceasar salad was basic. For my drink, I got the blackberry lemonade and it felt a little diluted. The dinner rolls were okay, tasted like basic rolls, just toasted. The only good things were the drinks and dessert. I spent a solid few minutes debating between two fish entrees... and somehow still ended up ordering the burger. No regrets though, it was a really good one. Woot woot! I was pleasantly surprised by my brunch visit today to Julii's! I was here spending my Mother's Day and birthday with my son and so glad we picked this hotspot. First off we love the fact that the brunch runs through 2:30 PM, and we noticed that it was packed because reputation is that they have the most amazing food that is prepared fresh in their scratch kitchen! We love the blend of French, Iranian and German flavors in so many unique and amazing dishes. We had the crispy trout, which was insanely good and the Shashuka... our waiter was top-notch and the atmosphere was perfect. We even enjoyed sitting outside with the weather being perfect today. Our reservation was set for one of the igloos which was very cute and surprisingly comfortable set with its own little heater if we needed to adjust to temperature. A culinary experience in a lovely environment! I absolutely loved Julii. I sat on the patio next to the play area. The outdoor area is beautiful. My server was attentive, when I was seated, I noticed that the hostess had discreetly places a handwritten birthday card on the table. I ordered the crispy trout and my friends ordered the mushroom omelette, ham and cheese omelette, shoestring french fries, shrimp appetizer, and profiteroles. What's Hot - Menu. Good variety and not too many options. There's meat, veggies, and seafood. I'm uncertain whether they can specifically modify any dishes for vegan. - Quality. Delicious. My trout was nicely filleted, well seasoned (not overly salty), and the skin was extra crispy. It was served over a bed of celery, potatoes, and cauliflower that were tender. Their shoestring fries were not overly salty and were nicely crispy. Their seasonal dish of grilled shrimp with their barley salad was also very flavorful. The shrimp were well-seasoned and a nice texture (i.e., not overly cooked/rubbery). The profiteroles were sweet, but not overly so, and had a nice amount of chocolate sauce drizzled over it. - Service. Excellent. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on us within decent time intervals, refilled our water glasses - Location. Conveniently located within a plaza with many different options. You can walk around and check out other shops, as well. During nice weather, there's supposedly outdoor seating. Their tables don't appear to be able to seat parties in the double digits. - Layout. Inside layout is not decent, but not expansive. There are a fair number of booths and tables. I've been told that the provide outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Given the limited seating, I highly recommend making reservations. What's Not - Acoustics. Terrible inside. We could barely hear the wait staff who talked to us. We had to ask her several times to repeat the information she gave us Sound carries very easily inside, especially when it's full. - Parking. There is parking in the area, but depending on the day you come, it can be difficult to find. Given that I was there during on a Sunday afternoon, it was difficult to find parking. The nearby outdoor lots were all filled and street parking was difficult to find. Fortunately, my friends told me about a parking lot at the nearby Porsche dealership, which was not costly and is well-automated. For about the 2 hours I was there, I paid under $4 total. The Porsche parking lot is also able to read your license plate. - Cost. To be fair, it's going to depend on what you order. When you combine drinks, any seasonal dishes (and the wait staff did not tell us the cost of the seasonal dishes we ordered), and dessert, it's a fair amount. - Reservations. Definitely recommend making reservations, rather than walking in. Final Answer Would be willing to come back here again, but probably not a first choice. read more

We had an amazing time on Sunday. We made reservations and they were so accommodating with the influx of guest changes we needed to make due to the weather. It is a cozy and warm place to visit but because of its size reservations are strongly recommended. We had the brussels and labneh with house rolls to start for our table. Everything was super fresh and hot when it got to our table. For our entrees we had the scallop risotto, mushroom omelet, their special of the day; crab benedict and the banana french toast. I have to say, it was such an amazing experience. We sat near the front at a very comfortable table with spacious seating. The decor is beautiful. My only critique would be that there's a bit too much couscous. Would have liked maybe an added vegetable of some sort. But literally the lamb fell off the bone it was cooked so well. My friend and I made a reservation this past Sunday evening which is a must -- it gets busy pretty quickly and there were very few to no empty tables. We were sat in a smaller table in the back with the perfect people-watching view through the glass windows. We decided to share two small plates and one big plate. PETIT PLATS: BURRATA - 18 The burrata sat on top of some dried fruit pieces (made with saffron jam?) and topped with strawberry slices and toasted pumpkin seeds. It was nutty, fruity, and sweet along with the lightly savory and creamy burrata that made wonderful bites. The burrata wasn't as cloud-like as I would have liked, but this overall, still good. PETIT PLATS: BRUSSEL SPROUTS - 15 The brussel sprouts were roasted(?) with garlic and parmesan, but we thought they were bitter. Some sat on top of a creamy white sauce, but not enough sauce to go around to cut the sharp bitterness of the brussel sprouts. GRAND PLATS: ROASTED COD - 32 The roasted cod was perched on top of a bed of farro, mixed with a creamy, saffron-based(?) sauce, topped with fennel slaw and tomatoes. We really enjoyed the soft and buttery roasted cod which was prepared perfectly with the farro. It was a good mix of ingredients and flavors. Pricy and not a whole lot of food, but overall delicious with unique flavors. We came here for the first time to celebrate my granddaughter's 20th birthday. We had a reservation for 8 of us and were promptly seated. Our server was amazing. Very patient and attentive. He never forgot one thing, and when we asked for stuff, he was quick to get it. First time in a while that service was perfect, from apps to desert and paying the check. We started out with a couple apps. The first was the dinner rolls, which come with pistachio on them and a side of herbed butter. The second app was an Alsatian tart, which looked more like a thin pizza, and both apps were extremely tasty. As we looked at the menu, one is quick to realize this is not a cheap place. As the waiter was telling us the specials, he mentioned that the two pasta dishes were on the smaller side and not a big portion. I appreciated that because I didn't want to walk away hungry. I got the scallops risotto, and although there were only 3 scallops for a price of $42, they were big diver scallops, and the mushroom risotto was plentiful and the whole dish was one of the best risottos I have ever had. Our table had the lamb, the prime rib special, the crispy trout, steak frites and the rigatoni bolognese and every single dish was amazing with everyone being extremely happy. For dessert, we had the profiteroles and they were very good. Overall, it is not a cheap dinner, but they make you feel like you are dining in a high end 5-star restaurant. 12.26.24 Came for lunch today with friends. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and hot cocoa. The bolognese was good, but the cocoa was bland. Not very chocolatey and tasted like they used water and not milk, which I would prefer. Our server was great and attentive. She started by going over the menu and her recommendations. Then while we were there, she came around several times to refill our water and clear the table. The kitchen appeared to be slow preparing the food as it took awhile before it came out. They have patio seating including Alpenglobe (private, heated, and enclosed dome designed for outdoor dining). I saw several patrons using them while we were there.
