I could use more cheese on my sandwich and toast the bread a little bit longer. The pasta was warm. I like cold pasta salad. Had a good taste to the pasta.

Chicken Caesar Wrap

The best chicken Caesar salad wrap I've had in the area!! I also get it with a side of their buffalo sauce. It's usually pretty quick when I stop into order. Lots of seating and there's a big gluten free menu and market.

Cute, colorful signs decorate the space.

Looking for a gluten free restaurant that serves tasty food? Today, my younger granddaughter and I discovered Lilit Cafe. Located on Old Georgetown Road, in the heart of Bethesda, it is easy to find. If anyone in your family has a gluten allergy or illness, you can count on one hand the restaurants that fill their menus with gluten free options. And, truthfully, many of those lack in taste or flavor. Not Lilit Cafe, we throughly enjoyed our cheese pizza. The pizza is hot from the oven. It was topped with loads of ooey gooey cheese and a delicious red sauce. The crust was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. My granddaughter ate three large pieces. I got the Greek salad topped with Italian meats. It was fresh, crisp, full of flavorful meats, tomatoes, Greek olives, lettuce, and peppers. The dressing was really tasty too. It was a large bowl, but I couldn't stop eating it. Service was great. The people who worked there kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. In speaking to the owner, I was not surprised to hear that the inspiration for Lilit Cafe was a close family member who could not tolerate gluten. I am so happy, that they decided to turn a hardship into a dream come true for people with gluten intolerance. Kudos to them! Insert applause! They have a large wine and beer selection. All of the drinks are bottled, but they have a huge wall of assorted drinks to choose from. We finished our lunch off with a cookies and cream cupcake. Lilit Cafe had 12 different flavors of Gluten Free cupcakes. That is unheard of!! We had a hard time picking out our favorite. It was really good! We were disappointed in the condition of the bathroom. There is one bathroom for both men and women and it needed some attention. There are tables to sit and enjoy your lunch or a thriving take out service. For us, this was a dream come true, we could go to a restaurant without the fear of getting ill and knowing we had a variety of choices to order and they all tasted great! We will definitely be back.

A quaint restaurant that had a diverse regular and gluten-free menu. They had an impressive gelato station at the entrance and various wine and beverage racks in the back. We were able to nab street parking alongside the restaurant and were greeted warmly upon entering. We were given menus and told to place our order near at the back register when we were ready. Unfortunately they don't offer the three course meal special anymore but wines were provided at a reduced cost if purchased with an entree. We didn't have to pay when ordering but we needed to return to the register afterwards to complete the bill. =ORDERED= Besides wine, bottled drinks common in convenience stores were up for grabs. *Meat Lasagna: included a side of Caesars salad. Huge slice of lasagna and could be easily shared between two people. Predominantly ground beef smothered in tomato sauce with bits of pasta sheets and cheese. Had good flavor but I wished the pasta wasn't as soggy so the lasagna could have had more structural integrity. Salad was average with thick dressing. *Chicken Tikka Masala: included basmati rice and a side salad. Rice was fluffy and went well with the salty curry sauce. Had lots of tender chicken and the salad cut through with cream and spices. The salad would have benefited from the vegetables being cut a bit finer as the bell pepper and onion slices were on the thicker side. Both dishes were incredibly large and affordable. I wouldn't say that either dish was extraordinary but the value was undeniable. Service was polite and efficient despite the strange ordering system. A family friendly establishment that served filling dishes that were a portion of the prices offered anywhere else.

Pre-ordered two sets from their three course menu. There were many free street parking nearby. Arrived after half hours and our dinners were ready. They were great for two people! House Salad and Caesar Salad were in good quantities. Teriyaki Salmon was very juicy. Lemon Chicken was quite tender. Both Gulab Jamun and Flourless Chocolate Cake were delicious to finish the dinner.

Fantastic steak and cheeses. They don't just serve coffee here. It is full lunch service and gets pretty busy during the weekday.

I had wanted to check this place out since I recently moved walking distance to Coopers mill. I'm glad we walked because parking is regulated and for hotel guests only. There is limited street parking on pooks hill. The bartender was lovely and we immediately were given menus, when we told him we were there for dessert he recommended the fried cookie dough which was delicious. Comes with taharka vanilla ice cream which I loved since I used to live in Baltimore! The presentation of the fried dough balls was very pretty as well. The other bartender Zobe was a pleasure to speak to. He recommended good drinks and even whipped up a chocolate martini at my boyfriend's request. This place is a little pricey with a very casual atmosphere, but I enjoyed my visit and we will be back!

The fries maybe had been fried at some point today, but were just bland and squishy. Bacon was actually good. Service started off ok, then after specifically asking for a dessert never came back to take a dessert order. After waiting 10 min I gave up and left. Bartender wasn't the friendliest to get the check. Only place to eat if you don't want to drive. Looks like a fun place to watch a game.

I most recently ordered the Impossible Burger (which I've ordered before) and it was *not* good. * The big TV running what looks like a looped investor presentation, which is weird and distracting. My company and I have different likes so we disagreed on favorites but the good news is someone loved everything! We tried the short rib and salmon sliders. Short rib has sweet flavor. I would order both again. The friend pickles were what you'd think they would be but I was wanting a stronger pickle flavor. The crab beignets were a hit for both of us. The broiled potatoes had too much of a garlic flavor for me. Tasted good but honestly would've been better if they came as advertised, broiled potatoes. No garlic oil which clashed with the side of ketchup. Just crispy salted potatoes would've complimented the meal better. Everything was happy hour prices which I loved because it allowed me to try lots of things. It's worth the early seating and I'll definitely be back. Again, kudos to the awesome staff!

The service was so so considering the size of the restaurant. There seemed to be plenty of servers but we had to flag them down to order, get coffee refills and get the check. We liked the food. They had an interesting shukshuka that 2 people got and finished every bit. They also got a side of potato "hash" but they were really just diced roasted potatoes. Not worth the $6 price but worked for soaking up the shukshuka gravy. We had one beet salad that was very nice. We ordered the beignets at the end and they were just fair. We would still go back to try other things!
