Good Grab and Go Hidden part of the Bethesda Metro, this early day deli is an easy access food place. One floor up and triangular to the Metro parking garage and Metro Stop - 7500 Old Georgetown gives you a good view of the people traffic moving around. The breakfast food is OK. Choice of a breakfast bar (fruit yogurt and granola), warm sandwiches, muffins, danishes or bagels. People running the place are friendly and efficient. Coffee was a step better than I make If it's on your route, I'd grab something from here for breakfast. Looking forward to trying heir bulgogi sub for lunch. Hours are 7 am to 3 pm. read more

Great & convenient to the office. I was surprised in a good way to the layout. The fresh salad bar was huge with a large variety of fresh items like avocado spring rolls, tropical fruits, & summer veggies to name a few. They have a full service sandwich bar that I peeked at to see all the proteins & fixings to offer. The massive selections of healthy snacks, chips, juices, bakery items & fruits is a great addition to being a better level of the regular deli service. Price point is very good & I presume the staff were the owners & they were very friendly & helpful. I'm glad it takes me only 3 minutes to get there! read more

I guess they stay busy because of the location. In terms of the sandwich I ordered The Metro and while the flavors were good, the portion size and quality of the bread were not great. The baguette was a little too dense and not your typical deli bread. But, the chicken inside the sandwich tasted nice and the veggies were fresh. Reason for 3-star rating: 1. Bread not great 2. How have I not reviewed, nor checked into this place more frequently?!?! Right next to my office, in the plaza level of the Clark Building above the Bethesda Metro station. If you are looking for a quick bite and don't have time to go to any of the [many] nearby sit down restaurants, greatest pop in deli to get a sandwich or visit the salad bar. I've never actually had the sandwiches though, but I am at the salad bar at least once a week. It's like Whole Foods salad bar quality though. I want to say they have about 24 items daily. Pretty good variety--for vegetarians too! Frequently they have tofu items in different flavors. Thursdays are my favorite day... sweet potato noodles, sauteed kale, and sushi on the bar!! read more

This deli is in the ground floor of my building, so I eat here WAY too often! The deli was sold and remodeled a few years ago - a great improvement. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best!! And their egg salad is delish! They've expanded some of their offerings over the years - and now have a pretty expansive salad bar with pasta salad, grilled veggies, and green salad in the afternoons; and fresh fruit in the mornings. This has become a regular staple in my lunch rotation. They have a solid selection of build your own wraps and sandwiches. Once a week they have a gangnam style wrap with bulgogi. mmmm. They also have a bibimbap day. Both are pretty good. If you're not into sandwiches, they have a good salad bar as well. A couple times a week there is sushi there. It's slightly subpar buffet quality, but it's decent and cheap. read more

I stopped in here around 12:45pm on a weekday to grab a quick salad as it's close to my office. I was the last person in line and it was not busy. What I wanted was chicken salad or tuna salad on a bed of greens. I didn't see it on the menu, so I asked the clerk behind the counter if they could make it for me. One clerk motioned to the salad bar so I went over there to look. There was no salad left, so I went back over to the counter to ask if they had more salad. They didn't have any pre-made salad so I asked if I could just have lettuce and tuna salad in a container. I asked for the tuna salad behind the counter because the tuna salad on the salad bar had penne noodles in it. She again pointed me in direction of the salad bar and I said, "no, I don't eat gluten, I don't want the tuna with the noodles in it." The other clerk came to my aid and figured out what I was asking for and I was able to eventually get all the parts, although not in a platter, in 2 separate containers. The point of the review is that a tuna salad on a bed of greens lunch platter is NOT that strange of a request and the way I was just gestured away twice toward an empty salad bar at lunch time made me feel like I was bothering them with my request. This is a decent deli with honest prices. I added bacon to my turkey sandwich (which was loaded with turkey, so unlike Subway), and the whole thing was still under $7. Win! They carry every kind of chips you might want, plenty of drinks, and everyone working there is friendly. I'll be back; that sandwich was filling. It made me curious about breakfast there. read more

Best breakfast sandwiches that are reasonably priced. I usually make my own sandwich but I'm sure their signature sandwiches are just as good. Friendly staff and they take credit cards. I've had a few of their lunch sandwiches and smoothies. If you are in a rush and near the bethesda metro, stop here and treat yourself. read more

I like to stop here for breakfast on my way to work - killer breakfast sandwiches. The Morning Delight, which is basically just egg, avocado, sriracha and mayo on whole wheat, kind of made me excited to get off the metro in the morning. read more

So who would think that of all the fancy restaurants and foodie places, I consistenly choose to come to this terrace deli. As the name suggests, little deli on the terrace of an office building. The place has everything from Salad bar, sandwich bar to deli specials. I would think it would be the below average cafeteria food you find at delis. WRONG! Their sandwiches are currently my favorite, beating out any panera, cosi, corner bakery or la madelaine. Their salads are extremely fresh and their soups are AMAZING. I LOVE THIS PLACE. from customer service, to food quality to daily specials, I have yet to be disappointed by anything they have. No wonder they always have a line when I come in but they move it really fast in consideration that everyone coming in is at their lunch break!! read more

The salad bar is simply delicious. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from, or you can create your own. The Korean food is spicy and incredibly tasty! The customer service is also superb and they are always very friendly. I would highly recommend anyone in the Bethesda area to come try them out. read more

I'm sorry I have to give this place 1 star, because the food was not bad and the owner was very pleasant. But I have never been so sick in my life. I'm not kidding. I know it's not wise to eat from a salad bar at 3pm, because the food has probably been sitting there since noon -this goes for any restaurant, not just this one. So I should have known better. But they need to make sure the food on the salad bar is kept at a temp of 40 degrees or below. I'm sure you will be fine if you stick to items that are made to order or nonperishable. But I won't be going back. I'm getting the dry heaves just thinking about it. Sorry! read more
