    Martha Stewart Greek Salad Sandwich
    Ashley C.

I had a wonderful birthday brunch at Maman earlier this month. I got the Audrey's turkey sandwich and my husband got the Martha Stewart's greek salad sandwich with roasted chicken. Both were fantastic and a good size! The restaurant is beautiful inside with floral decor and it has great seating outdoors. Everything on the menu looked delicious. The food take a little bit of time to come, but we were comfortable with the outdoor seating. Sometimes it is a little hard to fly down a waiter, but not too bad. Water is self-serve. The restaurant was busy on the weekday for brunch as it is located in the popular Bethesda Row. I would like to try more things at this location or another one!

I've never actually dined in here, but I always stop by for their honey lavender latte. It's one of my favorite coffee shops in the DMV. The space is super cute, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the overall vibe is great. Definitely recommend!

This place was so good! Accidentally ate all of my salmon croissant sandwich but it was killer and the seasonal cherry blossom matcha was exactly what I needed for the beginning of spring.

Maman never disappoints. Their brunch is absolutely delicious -- beautifully prepared, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. The pastries, the savory dishes, the presentation... everything feels thoughtfully done. And the mimosas? Excellent. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and the ideal pairing for a slow, cozy brunch. Between the charming aesthetic, great food, and quality drinks, Maman is always an easy "yes" for me.

Beautiful decor but that might be it. Had to wait a long time for our sandwiches but the worst thing is the chicken salad sandwich (seasonal Martha Stewart recipe) is not what they pictured to be (see attached pics). Roasted potatoes tasted like those reheated frozen ones from grocery. Maybe just good for coffee and baked goods? Won't be returning for brunch though!

Food - we ordered the breakfast sandwich. There was some miscommunication at the register and we ended up with 2 but decided to keep them both and we were SO HAPPY that we did. These were the BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICHES WE EVER HAD. Juicy, tasty and delish 10/10. My sister ordered some lavender latte which was pretty good and I ordered the matcha latte which was was watery and tasteless 2/10. I gave it a 2 for the latte art. Service - was great, friendly staff and food came out fairly quickly. 10/10 Ambiance - super cute and aesthetically pleasing 10/10

Atmosphere, friendly, exquisite food and great lattes; especially the quiche Lorraine. Good seating capacity. Some wait for delivery of food but the food worth it. Felt a little like being in France Paris

My first time coming here. I gravitated towards the baked goods - saw the Nutella Brownies and Nutella Beignets. I'll have to try those on a future visit (can't go wrong with Nutella). Somehow, I zoned everything out and opted to get the Citrus Olive Oil Loaf Cake with Strawberry White Chocolate. The name alone is what got me to try it in the first place. Best Decision Ever. I enjoyed the loaf cake, the chocolate, just everything. If I had my way, I would have gotten all of the slices they had. Now, when can I go back and get more of "that" Citrus Olive Oil Loaf Cake. YUM!!!

We ordered maman for an office lunch, and enjoyed it! I had the youki sandwich and loved every part about it. Will mention price seems a little high for certain menu items such as the wraps. Will return to try more of the menu!

Packed packed packed for a Saturday morning (~10:30/11am). Every seat in the restaurant (including the counter) was occupied. The community tables were very fitting in this old world, European-countryside-feeling restaurant. Once seated, service was decently prompt. Food notes: The Ratatouille w Sunny Eggs were amazing . The definition of savory and balanced, the cheese was a perfect companion to the rich veggie flavors and was more than enough food for one person, even as a main dish. Elisa's Bowl seemed okay...nothing bad but nothing to write home about, either. ...we did see what looked like a Cuban Sandwich pass by to another table and that at least LOOKED quite good! Their bloody Mary mix is premixed from a bottle and seems to be spicy off the bat. So my request for less spicy meat they gave me less mix. ...which felt a little tacky when the glass showed up 3/4 full (and after our food had arrived). At seeing it, I asked for more mix and some limes to round it out. It was slightly spicy but honestly not bad. Overall, the experience was definitely worth the wait and I'd definitely go back again. (And while we didn't have them, their seasonal coffee drink options seemed like breakfast dessert. Next time, I suppose!)

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is immaculate--clean lines, soft light, and thoughtful decor that makes every corner photo-worthy. The atmosphere is peaceful but never pretentious. Add in smooth espresso, creative drinks, and kind baristas--it's a full sensory experience.

Absolutely loved my visit to Maman! I had the Papa's Breakfast Bowl and Anna's Belgian Waffles, both were delicious. The bowl was hearty and flavorful, with perfectly cooked eggs and fresh ingredients. The waffles were light and crispy on the outside, and topped just right - not too sweet . Cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it even better. Will definitely be back!

Quaint maman location right on Bethesda Row. Stopped by with some girlfriends for brunch and left full! I ordered the honey lavendar latte and the breakfast bowl. Both were exquisite! Service was an attentive but a bit slow once it got busy. But overall, had a great experience!

Is this a place where someone can get a coffee and pasty and work/study with free wifi?

Definitely. Nice ambiance and not too busy or crowded!

    Do they take reservations?

    They don't.

Is this a good place to study or work from?

We do have a no-laptop policy at this time, as we have shifted to less coffee shop to more of a restaurant style dinning experience.

The lattes here are sweeter than savory but delicious, topped with thick whipped cream... I think it is homemade whipped cream, but whatever they do, they definitely aced it very well. - Habibi latte: very scrumptious! It is a must-get, although it's a seasonal drink, so it may not always be available...alas! Pretty sweet and almost like eating some Dubai chocolate as you drink it... worth the adventure! - The Bear Necessities: I was very impressed with this latte. I had low expectations, as most cafes can't perfect the dark art of latte for every latte drink on the menu, especially the seasonal drinks... But girl, I was proven wrong and I enjoyed this drink so much! It came with thick whipped cream topped with one graham cracker bear and crumbled graham crackers... The flavors were cinnamon and honey and reminded me of cinnamon crunch cereal in some ways, but of course, it wasn't too sweet though! I was tempted to order another one... The sandwiches (1 roast beef and 1 grilled turkey) were just average if you ask me to compare these with other sandwich specialty shops... next time, I'd try something else! Overall, no complaints as I'm impressed with the coffee options, especially the seasonal drinks! Service was good and quick. The employee behind the counter was super friendly and very accommodating to ensure she got our orders right. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning which was surprising. Lots of seating at the outdoor patio as well! Very spacious.

Great for a post-(long) run meal before I hop on the metro back to DC! The lattes are on the sweet side but delicious, thick, creamy, and very innovative--worth it. The food? Not so much, but still decent. I tried the following: - Habibi latte (hot with oat milk) - delicious!! Definitely a must-get. It was quite sweet but really reminded me of Dubai chocolate. Really amazing how they nailed down the flavors. Perfect for chocolate lovers and very unique and innovative. Presentation was also excellent, with a generous amount of whipped cream. - The bear necessities - equally delicious latte and really cute presentation too, with a graham bear cracker on top! I'm not a big fan of cinnamon-flavored drinks, but this one was more subtle. It was so thick and richly flavored that the cinnamon wasn't overpowering for me. I was very impressed. - Roast beef sandwich - meh okay. It was supposed to come with ciabatta bread (which I think would've tasted way better), but apparently, there was none that day, so I got it with sourdough bread. - Turkey sandwich - I got it served hot with sourdough bread, and my partner and I enjoyed this one more than the roast beef sandwich. The roasted red peppers were a nice addition to the sandwich. The accompanying salad with the sandwiches was fine, nothing special. Service was good and quick. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning, and the outdoor patio was cute and spacious.

Now that I've moved a bit further away from campus and no longer have a ton of time on Friday mornings, I've been feeling nostalgic about my old university favorite. So just imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon Grace Street Coffee in Bethesda! This lovely little shop is a bit different from their Georgetown counterpart -- for one, they don't have any indoor seating and consist of just a tiny little window that you can order from and a small patio you can pop a squat on when the weather is nice -- but sports the same outstanding coffee and friendly service. Their coffee is great, all roasted in their historic Georgetown spot and featuring great caramel-y, fruity undertones. And, while they have a small shop in Bethesda, it is mighty; all of the drinks are prepared with expert precision and efficiency. You might have to wait in line for a bit, since there are only two people working here and it gets pretty busy, especially during the weekends, but it's 100% worth the wait.

So good; I got two flights during my first visit, went back a week later to take my daughter. This will be a stop when I'm in the area or want a tasty coffee flight. My favorites in order: - Bon Bon: be sure to mix it before you drink. All the good stuff needs to be blended with a few stirs. - Honey: this reminds me more of a tea. I'd would drink this at the end of the flight which makes sense where it's placed. - Biscoff cappuccino: the cookie is a nice treats to bite and drink. My daughter ended up letting hers melt in the cappuccino which still ended up tasting good. - Pistachio: I love the tasty pistachio around the rim of the cup. A taste with each sip is yummy. - Tiramisu: this was good with the cookie. Another nice treat with each sip. - Affogato: you can't go wrong with ice cream so it hard to place this further down the line. - Nutella: it can go either way; mixed or just wast for yummy Nutella along the way as you drink. - S'mores: this was simple yet I do appreciate the marshmallows. The ham and cheese croissant was warm and filling. The chicken empanadas were delicious. Pick a cozy seat at a couch or table seat to enjoy your food and drinks. There's some street parking around but it might be good to find a garage and just walk over. I definitely want to come back and try the creme brulee croissant, they were out when I was there I guess it's popular.
