    King Jasmine Guava

This place was so crowded and a bit chaotic on a Saturday. You can order at the counter so don't feel that you need to download the app! There were so many things that I wanted to try but I started with the King Jasmine Guava with 30% sugar. It was refreshing and the gauva milk cap was a bit salty to add balance. A lot of people seemed to get the mango sago drink so i think that'll be on my list next!

Big fan. I have yet to try a drink here that doesn't satisfy my sweet tooth. I think this beats all bubble tea and boba places in the area by a mile. All the drinks made here are made with real tea and no artificial sweeteners. The Green grape cloud, Brown sugar milk tea, Tiramisu tea and the Jasmine tea are my personal favorites. I will be visiting a lot more! This place is very popular so wait times can get pretty long over the weekend.

Hi was nice. Nice space and ambiance. Great place to hang with friends or grab to go. I got the mango grapefruit boom that was like a slushie. Really good! I do wish they had other options for people who cant have Dairy. Hopefully they have options like oat or almond to swap with then milk. Overall ill go back. Get their Apple to get great discounts on drinks and points its nice. I got 25% off my drink. The service was good and I love how the app tell you how many minutes it will take for your order to be done and when its done!

HeyTea has become my new boba spot. Highly recommend ordering in advance on their app and follow them on socials to stay up to date on all of their specials. Some of my favs include the grapefruit, coconut mango, cloud coconut, and crisp grape boom. The drinks are made quickly and delicious. I saw some people sitting and working, but I am not sure its the most comfortable for long periods of time. Big fan of the chain and so glad its made it to Moco. Expect longer wait times on the weekend or promo days.

This is one of Rockville's hottest spots on a Saturday night, and they close at 9:30pm! Despite the heavy demand, the HeyTea staff has the service down cold. It's factory with how many drink orders they can churn out! They were very helpful in picking out a drink. I ended up getting the special Cloud Green Grape on a cold night and it was very refreshing. The cloud is cheese foam on top. You might think that is strange to add on a grape drink, but I believe the creaminess helped provide a little milky texture that made it even better. It's an icy drink on the bottom, but the melt over time does not water down the drink so the taste stays mostly consistent. There are real pieces of green grape, so make sure to get a wide straw! I've also gotten the Mango Boom at a New York location and it was fantastic. This place has plenty of tables inside, but when it's crowded and you have a big group it could be difficult to grab a seat. I would say HeyTea is better for grab and go, but if you do what to chill out there just be aware!

I tried HeyTea the first time and absolutely loved the coconut mango boom! Be prepared for a longer wait or as I learned download the mobile app and order ahead. The place is super busy on the weekends, and the team works as fast as possible.

Probably one of the best drinks in Rockville! The moment you step inside, the smell of fresh tea hits you. I tried their location in Korea, so I was excited when I found out they opened a new spot in Rockville, and their drinks did not disappoint. Seriously, everyone needs to go here!

Hey Tea is a cute and aesthetic bubble tea shop with good, light, and refreshing drinks! As we were ordering, I couldn't help but notice how extremely busy their takeout was in addition to their in-store orders. The entire counter surface by the register was covered by drinks but it was very organized! The staff were so friendly and patient when I was curious about the menu and also asked them about the names of some of the drinks on the counter. Very appreciative of this great service! We ordered the cloud coconut blue and coconut mango boom. I do wish the matcha wasn't so bitter for the cloud coconut blue.. the slight sweetness of the coconut juice balanced the drink out nicely though. As for the coconut mango boom, it was a rich, creamy, and not too overly sweet drink with a decent amount of mango chunks and sago! I'd recommend trying this spot out and ordering the coconut mango boom! Will definitely go back to try more of their menu!

5 star boba for sure. It's not as crowded as it used to be around opening day but around 8 pm you might get lucky and there's a down period where there's barely anyone. Service was quick but the guy taking my order was super quiet it was hard to hear. It looks beautifully modern and smells like really fresh tea when you enter. Highly recommend the coconut mango boom and coconut cloud matcha!

One of my favorite places to get drinks! My go to drinks include green grape, original bobo, and jasmine tea with cheese foam. It can get really crowded so come prepared. They have an esthetically pleasing app to order ahead of time. They have some seats and tables but they have pretty low to ground. Brightly lit inside. The parking can be a little tight but you usually can get a spot easily even during peak times.

Great new boba spot in the area! When you walk in, you're welcomed by the alluring aroma of tea. Love the clean and minimalist aesthetic. We came in pretty late (after dinner) so all of the seats were taken, but it wasn't as crowded as it is during the day sometimes. I had the coconut matcha bobo which was really pretty. The matcha part of the drink was good, but the spirulina wasn't really for me. The boba was good. I downloaded the app and ordered off there. It was easy to navigate and convenient.

HeyTea is the newest Asian bubble tea joint that opened up on Rockville Pike. It's still pretty crowded so the wait for the drinks can take a while. On my first visit, I ordered the Supreme Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. It was alright. Typical milk tea. On my second visit, I got the Mango Coconut Bloom, at someone's recommendation. I usually don't care for mango, but this was delectable! It's a wonderful summer drink! I would like to try their other drinks, but they are a little pricey so it's going to be an occasional thing.

How do the drinks hold up overnight in the fridge?? Is there lots of separation?? Taste-wise does it change at all?…

They hold up pretty well, it won't be the best though since Hey tea is best consumed right away. Some separation not a lot though. But im only speaking for the mango grapefruit boom drink

Tables not cleaned and most uneven and wonky. Just one sad front of house employee working that I saw just getting through the orders that are self order. This place has zero ambiance. I went to the bathroom and toilet tissue was nearly out and there was no way to even get anyone's attention to attend to that. Employee just kept their head down working. Food- drinks were great. My favorite is the watermelon coconut jelly. We had the pork chop pineapple bun. This is still a good sandwich. Tastes like they used to make it. Juicy pork chop, sweet pineapple bun. The construction of the sandwich leaves much to be desired because all the wet veggie ingredients slide the entire sandwich. Once you start eating, you should not put this sandwich down or it will come apart. They should put the sandwich in a sleeve. We ordered the fried chicken bento box. This bento has changed a bit from their previous version. With the new paper packaging, there are less compartments for goodies. The fried chicken recipe is different as all the batter fell off the chicken and was just a mess. There was close to zero pickles greens. With the dish which I feel brings this kind of bento together. Conclusion is food is decent, ambiance sucks. Would order to go from here but any fried food from here will be a disaster after you get it home. Had high hopes as I loved the previous location's food. Now being able to "look behind the curtain" and see how everything is made, I kind of feel question the cleanliness of this place.

My wife ordered a taro milk tea with a cheese foam cap and I went with a Vietnamese iced coffee with an ube cream topping. Both of our drinks were well prepared and had a ton of flavor. My wife liked that you can choose what kind of tea (black, green, or Oolong) for the taro drink, and we both found the cheese foam to be perfectly creamy and savory. Similarly, my strong iced coffee was prepared according to my taste with 0% sugar, and the cream topping had a discernible ube flavor without excessive sweetness. We both opted for grass jelly mixed into our potables and appreciated the soft, slurpable texture which indicated freshness. Our drinks averaged around $8 per, which is pretty standard. The interior of Ding was clean and bright, certainly pleasant enough in which to pass some time. We are glad we tried this place and can easily foresee returning when in the area.

As I walked past to find a different lunch place, I saw a different door with an open sign in it, and noticed the "big crowd" inside. Popping in, I found four people. One looked to be taking pictures for social media. One was sitting at a table, one at the claw machine, and the last, very bored, at one of the counters. Not a great sign. So, the hall reminds me painfully of a mall food court. There are six ish restaurants along one side, lots of seating on the other, and it's literally otherwise a hall. A bar sits at one side, and that was indeed closed. The restaurants are little more than counters, and all have kiosks. Behind them is their presumably shared kitchen. The restaurants are all fast food style. You can order from any restaurant from any kiosk. I chose the Japanese restaurant Milan, and Gong Cha for boba tea (hi, my name is Joshua, and I'm a bobaholic). Gong Cha was good, Milan was okay, but I'm reviewing the space here. Oh, and one of the restaurants also sells cheap, $7 rings -- also a good sign. I did go to the restroom, and it was slightly terrifying. There's a sign over the urinals thats said "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING." I am not sure what that meant, but I was careful not to touch any surface in the filthy bathroom. You ever use a restroom and you contemplate whether washing your hands after is a net gain or loss? Gross. After eating, I asked the one staff member where to put my tray, which was a single trash can on the far area. None of the restaurants really impressed me, and they're all chain-like. I can get better food in lots of other places, without the mall kiosk feeling. Like traditional malls, this place is painfully dying.
