Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea
Trang N.

This was my second time back in just one week, and I am officially hooked! I returned specifically to try more of their menu, including their signature drinks, and every single one has been an absolute knockout. Here is what we tried: Pistachio Jasmine Coconut: Incredibly unique, creamy, and refreshing. White Champaca Milk Tea: Beautifully floral and perfectly balanced. Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea: Crisp, light, and delicious. Every single drink we've ordered has been excellent and incredibly fragrant.

Molly Tea is always busy, but I had to get it while in the area since they shut down all the NY locations. Plus, this was so conveniently located to where I was staying while in Rockville. I got a classic Osmanthus Milk Tea ($6.79) with all the recommendations. It's so floral and refreshing. The straws are super thin, so you can really taste the flavors. Easily my favorite tea spot!

Absolutely love!! It's one of my favorite tea places to go to, particularly for the jasmine tea. My favorite was the pistachio jasmine coconut! It's floral, refreshing, and has a yummy foam on top. The vibes inside as well as the customer service are also top notch.

Molly Tea has recently opened in Rockville, close to the Twinbrook metro station. Inside the small shop there are two small tables and a few chairs. The storefront is bright and inviting. There are two touchscreens inside to place a drink order, and about 7-8 staff assembling the drinks. This seems to be quite a popular location, as the screen showing the order numbers was filled with multiple pages of order numbers and the counter was stacked full of drinks waiting for pickup. I ordered the Jasmine Citrus drink, and waited about 10 min before my order number popped up on the screen, and was ready to pickup. Jasmine Citrus was pretty good, a light and floral tea balanced with citrus from the several slices of orange, lemon, and lime.

Travelled 1.5 hours and waited 1 hour after ordering via app. If another person didn't suggest us ordering thru the app, we would have waited more. Anyway, got nothing to do that day so I'd say it was worth it (tried other places too). Seasonal mango drink was fave! One of my top milk tea places! Everyone was just waiting for their drink to be done during a 90F kind of day. Garage parking is free for the first 2 hours, but if you need more time, maybe you can move to the mall parking across the street.

The vibes and aesthetic of Molly tea is very much is like a cross between luxury brand milk tea x Pop Mart. I got the white champaca oolong milk tea with the recommend light ice and 70% sugar level with no toppings. I like that the flavor of the tea shines through with the floral but not overwhelming to the point it's more scent than flavor. Sweetness wise, it was a good balance of not being too sweet. My friend got the white champaca matcha with the recommended light ice and 70% sugar level, and choose brown sugar boba for the add-on. I felt the champaca flavor was not as apparent in her drink due to it being balanced out by the matcha.

I've been meaning to come here ever since I heard they opened but haven't had the chance to until today! When I first walked in I was kind of surprised how small the space was. There isn't much seating inside but there was a side that was closed off and said employees only. Maybe they'll open it up for more seating?? (I hope so) We ordered from the kiosk there were so many great drink options that I was so indecisive in what to get! I ended up getting the white champaca matcha which was decent, however I felt like I tasted a little more milk than matcha. My cousin got the pistachio jasmine coconut with sago, I took a sip from and it was pretty good I kind of preferred it over the matcha. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. The ambiance is super cute and I love how they have this little pink cart outside!

One of the best boba/milk tea shops around. The hype and the long lines are well deserved. Haven't had one that felt this high quality in the ingredients. Their jasmine tea is def a standout with how much flavor and how strong the aroma of the jasmine tea they use. Their sago and other boba toppings are also equally great! They were chewy and complements their drinks. Their ordering and pickup system could use more signs for clarity since they get really crowded and people are swarming inside and outside the store. Also watch out for people illegally parking the narrow street right in front. Popular for a reason. Can't wait to go back!

Finally had a chance to try Molly Tea after seeing so much hype on Instagram! It was a little busy when we got there but not too bad. They have garage parking nearby that was free for the first 2 hours just an fyi! There's not much seating in the shop so it's more of a to go place. There's 2 screens to order from or you can place an order via the QR code and then wait for your number to pop up on the screen or a text. I think one thing that could have been better is that when you order, there's a sign that displays your order number as either a drink they're working on or a drink that's ready. But when we saw our number flashing in the ready area, the drink wasn't ready yet. If they could provide some signs that mention this so people weren't confused that would be great. We were waiting in line for our drink but people kept on asking us to move since their drink was "ready" but so was ours according to the sign. Otherwise, I enjoyed our drinks! I got the Jasmine milk tea with oat milk & boba at 50% sugar and it was delicious. The Jasmine flavor def came through and I would go here again!

Jasmine milk tea with boba and oat milk was very good. The Jasmine definitely jumps out at you. First sip was soooo flavorful. Every sip after was good but not as good as that first sip. Service was fine - you order on a kiosk. It's super cute inside. This location is connected to a restaurant. They have a rewards club. I think they should offer an "extra sweet" option. I also think The cups are a bit small for the price.

This place had a lot of hype so I decided to finally go in when it wasn't so busy. Even though there was still a little bit of a line they worked really quickly. The inside is cute, but small and there is no seating outside. I would suggest ordering online and coming to pick it up. In terms of the tea itself, I was surprised at the lack of customization. I expected to be able to choose lactose free milk and the descriptions often talked about freshness so I expected fresh ingredients. It's seems to be a powder mixed with either juice or tea. The flavor was just ok, I think with the level of competition in the area I expected more. Some of the flavors were more unique for example I got the apple milk tea, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the combo. The tapioca bubbles were small and kind of disintegrate in your mouth, maybe thats just how they are, I wouldn't say it was a bad thing it was just different. If I was shopping at the Wegmans I would go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

My $2 a minutes (my daughter & niece) are back from college, & they had a plan for ME! They found this tea spot, we jumped in the V8, & pulled up!! They said I could review...so that's exactly what I did!! Let's GO!! . Where I am: @mollytea_dmv . Location Reviewed: 860 Festival St., Rockville M.D. . Items Reviewed: STAMP!! Their Snowy Jasmine Tea ($7.99 with Jasmine green tea, Jasmine whipped cream, fresh milk, & cocoa nubs). Floral, mildly like a shake, sweet, & tasty!! This was my drink!! STAMP!! Their White Champaca Milk Tea ($6.99 with Champaca Green Tea, & fresh milk). So my daughter dipped into this one, she STAMPED it, saying it taste like sweet, creamy cereal milk!! STAMP!! Their Pistachio White Champaca Coconut Tea ($7.99 with Champaca Green Tea, Coconut Water, & sweet Pistachio cheese). My niece had this one, & she STAMPED it!! She said that the tea is strong in this one, it's creamy, & sweet!! STAMP!! Their Tongmu Lapu Boba Tea ($6.99 with Black Tea, fresh milk, chocolate dusted, with boba at the bottom). Warm boba, cold tea, sweet, & chocolaty!! . Customer Service: On Point. . Parking: Decent. They have a garage. . Recommendations: Try any of their teas!! . Accessibility: It's wheelchair & differently abled persons friendly 5 Stars=STAMP 4 1/2 Stars=LIKE THAT 4 Stars=DELICIOUS 3 Stars=DECENT 2 Stars=PASS 1 Star=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews

There is a parking garage and some street parking. However, a decent amount of people like to idle in the back instead of parking, which can jam the traffic flow. They do have a restroom for customers, but there is not a lot of seating. They have a rewards program, so I recommend downloading the app and joining. I ended up ordering the Gardenia Oolong Milk Tea (sugar 7%, no ice) - medium was the only size option. Since I ordered no ice, my drink was served in a hot beverage cup. I liked their straw design. It took me a while to realize that I needed the straw to puncture the lid for my drink. They were busy during a weekend night. The gardenia floral taste/scent wasn't that strong, but I enjoyed the drink regardless. The caffeine was strong and led to me staying up way late. I had a taste of my friend's matcha drink and will definitely order that next time.

Tables not cleaned and most uneven and wonky. Just one sad front of house employee working that I saw just getting through the orders that are self order. This place has zero ambiance. I went to the bathroom and toilet tissue was nearly out and there was no way to even get anyone's attention to attend to that. Employee just kept their head down working. Food- drinks were great. My favorite is the watermelon coconut jelly. We had the pork chop pineapple bun. This is still a good sandwich. Tastes like they used to make it. Juicy pork chop, sweet pineapple bun. The construction of the sandwich leaves much to be desired because all the wet veggie ingredients slide the entire sandwich. Once you start eating, you should not put this sandwich down or it will come apart. They should put the sandwich in a sleeve. We ordered the fried chicken bento box. This bento has changed a bit from their previous version. With the new paper packaging, there are less compartments for goodies. The fried chicken recipe is different as all the batter fell off the chicken and was just a mess. There was close to zero pickles greens. With the dish which I feel brings this kind of bento together. Conclusion is food is decent, ambiance sucks. Would order to go from here but any fried food from here will be a disaster after you get it home. Had high hopes as I loved the previous location's food. Now being able to "look behind the curtain" and see how everything is made, I kind of feel question the cleanliness of this place.

My wife ordered a taro milk tea with a cheese foam cap and I went with a Vietnamese iced coffee with an ube cream topping. Both of our drinks were well prepared and had a ton of flavor. My wife liked that you can choose what kind of tea (black, green, or Oolong) for the taro drink, and we both found the cheese foam to be perfectly creamy and savory. Similarly, my strong iced coffee was prepared according to my taste with 0% sugar, and the cream topping had a discernible ube flavor without excessive sweetness. We both opted for grass jelly mixed into our potables and appreciated the soft, slurpable texture which indicated freshness. Our drinks averaged around $8 per, which is pretty standard. The interior of Ding was clean and bright, certainly pleasant enough in which to pass some time. We are glad we tried this place and can easily foresee returning when in the area.

Some seatings were comfy (the ones in the back) and the others was a bit hard. Most of the pastries are in the middle with sweet ones on one side and savoys on the other. The price was really reasonable. I saw so many savoy ones I would love to try if I ever visit at BF time. I saw they have Cronut (Croissant and Donut in one). I had had Cronut in Vegas (at the Paris Hotel), but the ones here looked a little different so I wanted to try. Mistake. It was extremely greasy. The oil soaked through the paper plate and I had to squeeze the pieces I cut with napkins to get as much oil out as possible. I would give it a 2 star, it would have been good if not so oily. The egg tarts on the other hand deserved a 5 star. Love it. The latte tasted fine, but it took them a while to make it (almost 10 mins) and served in the normal paper cup, I was hoping for a nice latte art since it took so long. Overall it is a wonderful place to sit around and enjoy some quiet time, just don't get the cronut unless they cut down on the oil...
