Jasmine milk tea with boba and oat milk was very good. The Jasmine definitely jumps out at you. First sip was soooo flavorful. Every sip after was good but not as good as that first sip. Service was fine - you order on a kiosk. It's super cute inside. This location is connected to a restaurant. They have a rewards club. I think they should offer an "extra sweet" option. I also think The cups are a bit small for the price.

This place had a lot of hype so I decided to finally go in when it wasn't so busy. Even though there was still a little bit of a line they worked really quickly. The inside is cute, but small and there is no seating outside. I would suggest ordering online and coming to pick it up. In terms of the tea itself, I was surprised at the lack of customization. I expected to be able to choose lactose free milk and the descriptions often talked about freshness so I expected fresh ingredients. It's seems to be a powder mixed with either juice or tea. The flavor was just ok, I think with the level of competition in the area I expected more. Some of the flavors were more unique for example I got the apple milk tea, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the combo. The tapioca bubbles were small and kind of disintegrate in your mouth, maybe thats just how they are, I wouldn't say it was a bad thing it was just different. If I was shopping at the Wegmans I would go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.

Clean and beautiful location. Few tables so easier to grab a quick drink (you can order by the touchscreen menus or online). They're quick to fill your drink orders. So since it's busy, order on your phone and you can easily monitor your drink order on the screens they have (they'll announce it once it's ready). I loved my matcha jasmine salted cheese drink. It's got a very nice subtle flavor. Will definitely come again to try more.

There is a parking garage and some street parking. However, a decent amount of people like to idle in the back instead of parking, which can jam the traffic flow. They do have a restroom for customers, but there is not a lot of seating. They have a rewards program, so I recommend downloading the app and joining. I ended up ordering the Gardenia Oolong Milk Tea (sugar 7%, no ice) - medium was the only size option. Since I ordered no ice, my drink was served in a hot beverage cup. I liked their straw design. It took me a while to realize that I needed the straw to puncture the lid for my drink. They were busy during a weekend night. The gardenia floral taste/scent wasn't that strong, but I enjoyed the drink regardless. The caffeine was strong and led to me staying up way late. I had a taste of my friend's matcha drink and will definitely order that next time.

Molly Tea is the newest addition to Rockville offering a variety of premium iced and hot teas. It is located in the same area as the wegmans and has two hour free parking. You can order at the kiosk or at the front with the staff. The staff were very helpful in picking drinks and providing recommendations. I went with the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut drink with less ice and 70% sugar per the recommendation of the staff and it did not disappoint at all! The tea was very light and refreshing with a floral Jasmine flavor. The pistachio and coconut were a perfect combination, and I enjoyed the pistachio crumble on top. I really enjoyed my drink at Molly Tea and will definitely be back to try their other offerings.

Viral in NYC and Boston, this tea shop is known for their premium jasmine teas straight from Shenzhen, China Highly recommend the Snowy Jasmine, Premium Jasmine Milk Tea, and the Pistachio White Champaca Coconut The jasmine teas was very floral, refreshing, and the freshest of tea. The whipped cream was so light. The Pistachio White Champaca Coconut is perfect for a hot summer day. One of the best in DMV.

Newly opened tea shop in Rockville. It is so popular that the waiting line snarled around the block. It was impossible to get in on weekends, so I went there first thing on Monday morning. The long line thinned, I finally got my drinks. There's no street parking, but there's garage parking available, free for 2 hours. The store looked small and really packed. Yet it wasn't too noisy even with many people waiting for their drinks. The app didn't link the store yet, I was told. So I ordered at the machine by the entrance. I couldn't specify the ice or sugar level, so I ended up getting my drinks with too much sugar and ice. Hopefully next time I visit, I can use the app to customize my drinks. I ordered Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea and Snowy Jasmine. Both are ok, not perfect. Too sweet and too much ice for me.

Came here on their second day open and the line was wrapped around to the entrance of Wegmans. Not a ton of seating but quite a simple and open design for their store front. As part of their promotions, they had a trolly cart and if you showed your receipt you could get a scented bag of jasmine tea and a Maryland crab molly tea magnetic pin. With the deal they had going on, you could get a bogo tea! I ordered the premium jasmine matcha and got the white champaca oolong milk tea. Both were delicious. I've never had champaca, but it tastes good gave nice subtle flavor to the oolong. The premium jasmine was definitely premium tea. It was so tasty and had such a nice floral flavor. The straws were interesting as they were like three coffee stirrer sizes wholes adhered together. It was sleek and thin. One of my friends ordered the pistachio jasmine coconut. Overall lovely teas and great time with friends, would come back and try a lot of their other flavors.

Am super excited for another tea place in the area! I've heard great things about Molly tea and the quality of the tea itself. I think their best quality is how fragrant their tea is and the strongest items on the menu are the ones with jasmine tea etc. we went on the opening week and the staff were really organized and efficient even with the amount of people. The storefront itself is small and very cutely decorated. It's more of a stop by and skedaddle type of place as opposed to a sit down cafe. All the items are not too sweet and they have the recommended sweetness automatically set to 70% so you can add more if you'd like. I think the 70% is perfect though. It's unlike other drink/boba shops since the tea is such a focus here, definitely not a place for you if you don't like tea and prefer the flavor more hidden.

Great tea! So happy they are in the DMV. Lines were long but moved quickly.I recommend the Tongmu Lapsang tea for its bold flavor and aromatics when mixed with matcha or the Jasmine cloud. For safer transport in the cute insulated pink bags. The paper cups have the plastic cover over them. When you want to drink just tear off the plastic over the cup. The straws help release the flavor of the tea. I recommend using it unless you are really thirsty. Staff were very helpful. Easy 5 stars.

Came today with a friend for the second day of the Grand Opening. I've literally never waited in line this long for anything, but alas here we are. I got in line around 10:30am and placed my order inside about 1.5 hours later around noon. Then maybe another 20 mins until my order was ready. Took advantage of the BOGO deal and got 4 drinks...all for me! Asked for less ice for everything & I normally do 30% sugar, but I'm glad I went with their recommended 70% sugar because it was already not that sweet. I finished the Snowy Jasmine first - so good and the whipped cream complemented the premium Jasmine green tea nicely & didn't overpower the taste at all. Currently drinking the Tongmu Lapsang Salted Cheese, and I really like this one as well! Highly recommend this if you like more savory drinks or if you're also a fan of cheese in your bbtea. For the free drinks, they needed to be from the floral milk tea series, so I went with the plain premium jasmine milk tea and peach oolong milk tea (have not tasted it yet so can't give my opinion on this one.) First 300 people got the super cute magnetic crab pin & a paper bag, plus the insulated tote bag to carry your drinks in (which effectively kept them cold for several hours until I got home).

Came during the official opening and desperately wanted the magnets, so waited quite a bit for them. Staff were super nice and attentive, especially during the massive rush. Didn't really have a chance to be inside the store other than picking up my drinks, mostly waited outside, but their waiting system seems efficient. For the drink itself, I wasn't really impressed. I've had Molly Tea before and would rave about it, but it wasn't amazing this time around. I'm not sure if it's because of the heavy rush or if my taste in jasmine milk tea has changed after being more exposed to them now compared to my first time trying Molly Tea (I think Molly Tea was my first time trying jasmine milk tea ever years ago), but it didn't really taste that flavourful/special, or something worth $7. Perhaps I need to try again when it's less hectic to see how I feel about their drinks when they're not rushing to make drinks. Appreciate the workers so much!

Store needs Quality control- "less ice" equals to full of ice and the tea tasted bitter and no sweetness at all

Tables not cleaned and most uneven and wonky. Just one sad front of house employee working that I saw just getting through the orders that are self order. This place has zero ambiance. I went to the bathroom and toilet tissue was nearly out and there was no way to even get anyone's attention to attend to that. Employee just kept their head down working. Food- drinks were great. My favorite is the watermelon coconut jelly. We had the pork chop pineapple bun. This is still a good sandwich. Tastes like they used to make it. Juicy pork chop, sweet pineapple bun. The construction of the sandwich leaves much to be desired because all the wet veggie ingredients slide the entire sandwich. Once you start eating, you should not put this sandwich down or it will come apart. They should put the sandwich in a sleeve. We ordered the fried chicken bento box. This bento has changed a bit from their previous version. With the new paper packaging, there are less compartments for goodies. The fried chicken recipe is different as all the batter fell off the chicken and was just a mess. There was close to zero pickles greens. With the dish which I feel brings this kind of bento together. Conclusion is food is decent, ambiance sucks. Would order to go from here but any fried food from here will be a disaster after you get it home. Had high hopes as I loved the previous location's food. Now being able to "look behind the curtain" and see how everything is made, I kind of feel question the cleanliness of this place.

My wife ordered a taro milk tea with a cheese foam cap and I went with a Vietnamese iced coffee with an ube cream topping. Both of our drinks were well prepared and had a ton of flavor. My wife liked that you can choose what kind of tea (black, green, or Oolong) for the taro drink, and we both found the cheese foam to be perfectly creamy and savory. Similarly, my strong iced coffee was prepared according to my taste with 0% sugar, and the cream topping had a discernible ube flavor without excessive sweetness. We both opted for grass jelly mixed into our potables and appreciated the soft, slurpable texture which indicated freshness. Our drinks averaged around $8 per, which is pretty standard. The interior of Ding was clean and bright, certainly pleasant enough in which to pass some time. We are glad we tried this place and can easily foresee returning when in the area.

When I first walked in, the aesthetic of the place was great. It was quite big with a nice corner to relax in and a display of snacks. The staff was also very friendly and respectful while I was looking at the menu. However, the food and drinks are where this becomes a 2 or 3-star experience. The Items I Ordered: * Brown Sugar Cookie Boba Tea: This was bland and had little to no flavor. The milk was overpowering, and it had almost no brown sugar or cookie taste. * Soufflé Pancakes: I was told these were "authentic Japanese Pancakes," but I am heavily disappointed. The presentation was poor: a paper plate with pancakes surrounded by fruits, a dab of ice cream, and a small plastic bowl of cream. The pancakes themselves were bland and very eggy. Unfortunately, they tasted more like an egg pancake than the traditional Japanese style. They were also very dry. If the cream wasn't included, I wouldn't have even eaten them. Having to rely on the cream just for the pancakes to have flavor or moisture is very disappointing. * Chocolate Lava Buns: I bought one of these, and it was just okay. They were fluffy, but the chocolate inside wasn't melted. It was also very bitter and very heavy on the dark chocolate side so it was not a "savory taste" for what I had thought originally. * Cherry Tart: This was the final item I bought, and again, it was only okay. The bun was a bit hard. While the flavor was better than I expected at first, it fell off quite quickly and became unappetizing. Final Verdict: Would I recommend this place? Not necessarily. Unless you are just looking for a corner to study in and bring your own food, I wouldn't suggest it.
