This shop focuses on tea with oats and with oatmilk. I was a tad surprised there weren't any cherry blossom specials on (yes, I know the cherry blossoms aren't Taiwanese; all sorts of businesses have seasonal specials), but they were out of even some basic stuff. However, the oat milk and tea combination I was able to get delivered an impressive flavor, with a nice contrast of sweet and bitter. Adding some freshly waffle pieces was okay, but the sauce they came with was a little light. The overall selection wasn't huge, but it doesn't bother me too much as you get get the same things in a bunch of generic boba shops. Stopped by while checking out the Arts Festival and took advantage of their BOGO 50% 1-year anniversary special. Tried their House Special Milk Tea at the recommend sugar level (50%) and 70% ice. This drink includes boba and oats in Teazzi' Signature Four Seasons Milk Tea (lactose free). The boba was cooked well and the oats slowly grew on me (I wasn't a fan after the initial sips!). With the oats, this definitely made for a filling tea! You order at one of two kiosks, which could take some time, especially if you're not familiar with the menu. Teazzi is a small tea shop in "Bethesda Row". They have a a lot of variety, but I opted for my go-to Matcha Latte. This was my first time visiting and it was a pleasant experience. I walked in, was greeted and directed to a kiosk where I could order. I like that there were multiple options for sweetness including 10 and 30%. My favorite boba shop in the DMV, the tea is very high quality and perfect balance of sweet as someone with a sweet tooth and the service is typically pretty fast too. Only caveat is that they're located inside Bethesda Row where parking isn't free and the store does not validate parking. My favorite boba spot in Bethesda/Rockville area! The tea here is exceptional and they have a great rewards program. Sometimes they can be packed with orders so I like to order online in advance. They also have board games inside. The oatmeal tea also pops off. I've never seen this before but it was very good - I think it is the specialty here. My favorite is the jasmine green milk tea. The valley tea is also very good. The only thing I've tried here that I didn't like was the strawberry milk tea - way too sweet. read more

Quick and easy kiosk ordering and the drinks were out pretty quickly. We walked in right when Teazzi opened on a Saturday, so no issues with waiting and plenty of space for us to choose where to sit. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea with boba at 70% sweetness and 30% ice. Modifications were just right for me! I was a little worried that they wouldn't have the boba ready right when they opened, like I've experienced at other boba places, but no problem here. New tea shop at downtown Bethesda! The service was amazing despite the crowd when I went, the drinks came out pretty quickly. Not your average bubble tea shop, some authentic Taiwanese tea mixes with oats/taro/grass jelly/aloe as some topping choices. The ambiance is bright and vibrant with a decent amount of seating. You can adjust your ice and sugar level. I asked for standard sugar level and it showed 30% as the recommended which is fine for me as I can drink tea with no sugar, so adjust accordingly if you prefer sweeter. They were very generous with the toppings and a lot of tea jelly in my Mango Green TJ. I had a sip of the Brown Sugar Boba Latte and the boba was one of the best I've ever had - warm, soft, and chewy! Also had a sip of the House Special and it was interesting with oats and can be a good choice if you want something more filling to hold you up before your next meal. Several of us stopped by Teazzi this past Saturday after hearing about how the boba here is phenomenal. The tl;dr? The boba here is really good and it is now my favorite boba shop in the area in terms of the tea flavor. It's good, and you have to give this place a try even if it's a bit out of the way. HONEY AMBER OOLONG MILK TEA - 6.75 +0.75 for tapioca This is made with their amber oolong milk tea (a medium roast tea) with honey. It doesn't come with any toppings so you gotta add it yourself. I got it with 30% sugar and 0% ice. I thought 30% was a bit too sweet (for someone who doesn't have a big sweet tooth) and I think the tapioca probably has syrup in it, so maybe I'll get 0% sweetness next time. The tea flavor is so good and I love the ratio of tea and milk here. Solid oolong option. I don't find other milk teas that taste like this in the DMV area. A couple of my friends got their HOUSE SPECIAL MILK TEA (7.25) which is their four seasons milk tea (a light roast tea) with tapioca and oats as a topping. The milk tea flavor was solid and I really liked that their were oats in it! I liked it more than the drink I got and would order this next time. read more

I'm so confused at all the great reviews. I want to like this place so bad bc we really needed a good boba spot in Bethesda and the staff seem so kind but every time I've gone the drinks are mediocre. The ice they use is super watery and instantly melts, the teas are not great quality and not the best tasting. I've tried several but today I got the passion fruit orange tea which was 1/10. I thought it was a brewed tea but then I saw in the kitchen as they were making it that they used bottled Simply orange juice, which made it taste like bitter orange juice mixed with water and boba. Gross. The brown sugar drink was decent and probably the only drink I've ordered and enjoyed after trying many. Won't be returning anymore :( read more

Sweet tooth lover here. I am the kind of Asian that loves regular sugar wherever I go. I would say this is definitely less sweet compared to places like Kung fu tea and Gongcha. Their 100% sugar is more like 50 % at Gongcha and 30% at Kung fu tea. I hope this helps you guys decide your sugar level. The service was good the cashier was able to explain the questions I needed. The flavors of their teas are very light. I wouldn't say watered down just not as strong nor heavy. My go to drink to compare quality is jasmine green tea. It's not my best version nor worst. It's not bad. However, I recommend the grape green tea. It's something a little different from other boba places. For hot drinks they don't have a proper lid to drink it. They have it served through a straw which is like an accident waiting to happen. So if you get hot let your drink cool a bit before you drink with a straw. read more

You can taste the richness of the tea, which complemented the chewy boba and grass jelly toppings I added. If you've ever had Ten Ren tea in NYC, it's reminiscent of that level of quality. This place is a breath of fresh air for lactose intolerant folks like myself since all their milk teas use lactose-free milk (lactaid). I came here a couple min after it opened and there were already customers! The service was efficient, bathroom is clean, AND there are board games for those of us who want a place to hangout. Only had one visit so far, but I'm a big fan. Tried the Mango Green Tea (TJ's special). Loved it. Only thing I would change is regular boba instead of the crystal boba. Eating the pineapple chunks after I was done with the drink was awesome. But the best were the giant chunks of jelly that were included in the drink. My wife got another special or signature drink; it was a milk tea with boba and oats. She enjoyed it, but got the sweetness level a bit lower than recommended and said it was a little mistake. Love stopping by here for great Taiwanese boba and glad I no longer need to go all the way up to Rockville to satisfy my cravings! They have a wide variety of fruit and milk teas, and I'm a big fan of their house made tea jelly. Most drinks do not come with boba included, and they can run a bit pricey ($8-9 a drink), but the flavors and tea quality are fantastic. read more
