This is the cutest little chocolate shop in Bethesda and the entire staff is just so lovely. So many sweet treats making it super hard to pick just one. Handmade chocolates by some of the finest chocolatiers! A must try.

Love the style and warm decor. Chocolates were good but pricey (44 for a dz). I like the pamphlet that was provided to help me remember what flavors I bought. There is metered parking (not much) in front of their building.

Amazing experience. I received a nice, warm "good morning," greeting from the young lady (Anaya?) . She went above and beyond to help me select my chocolates (gifts). She was a step a head of me in packaging my goods for my mile long walk. Thank you so much! I'll return when I visit Bethesda again.

Raspberry, bourbon, mocha, champagne, 72% bittersweet, and cinnamon cappuccino.

I'm giving it 4 stars so I'll start off with the good: the base chocolate is absolutely fantastic, especially the 72% dogwood blossom. The ambiance of the store is comfortable and easy to navigate. The service was helpful enough. However, outside of the cinnamon cappuccino (which was divine) the flavored chocolates I had were not to my personal taste. I love a raspberry chocolate; however what is on offer here tastes distinctly artificial and hard to swallow. The two alcohol flavored chocolates I purchased also left a lot to be desired. The champagne was good, but weak and hard to place without knowing it. The bourbon also had a nice flavor, but it seems made for those who are afraid of liquor flavored chocolates. While this is a useful offering for those who have not acquired a taste for the usual boldness of artisanal liquor chocolates, I expect to be punched by the flavor rather than gently tickled. The mocha square was also missing the usual kick of coffee flavoring that came across so well in the cinnamon cappuccino. One could have told me that was a simple milk chocolate ganache and I would have believed it. There is an art to subtle flavors and while I'm afraid Bethesda Chocolates did not meet my expectations, the Belgian chocolate on offer is just too good and beautifully prepared to give anything less than 4 stars.

This exquisite box of chocolate was a Mothers' Day gift from my husband this year...an absolute delight!

Exquisite, imaginative and delicious gifts! I adored this edible container, which my husband filled with chocolates.

This place has (by FAAARR) the absolute BEST HOT CHOCOLATE I have ever had. I do not know of any other place in DC that has hot chocolate as good as this place. The chocolate they serve is rich and delicious w/ enough variation to keep your taste buds in aww every time you come. My ONE AND ONLY COMPLAINT, is the number of children they allow to randomly run amok in the establishment. As a local favorite, families wander in pretty frequently. Every time I go, I sit down to enjoy the bookstore/cafe like environment. A few minutes in, someone comes in with 3+ children screaming and making noise. Ruins the sit down experience. If you go, be prepared for the randomness I just described. But if you're lucky, you will have some of the most amazing chocolate in the dc area, bar-none.

Chocolate Galore. Love this cozy chocolate boutique! With so many decadent truffles to choose from, the struggle was real. There were even shoes covered in chocolate! The dark chocolate truffle was the perfect choice as the rich creamy ganache melted in my mouth. The hot cocoa was premade using milk chocolate and a tad too sweet for me. I would go for the mocha next time! I would love to see dark chocolate cocoa on the menu. The seating is nice and the couches are quite comfy. My girlfriends and I lounged around for an hour staying warm and sipping tea and hot cocoa. The basket of pastries like the croissants and muffins aren't made in house. They are fine, but recommend eating them within a day. Will be back for more truffles!

I needed a sweet treat for someone & even though I wasn't able to partake in the depth of decadence that was on display (something is in the mix down road), Darnell's customer service balanced it out. There's plenty of chocolate variations to choose from, a welcoming/warm sitting area, an open view of the chocolate factory where everything is craftily created, an Expresso Machine, & a section for condiments to accommodate the teas, cocoas & coffees. They offer free Wi-FI, gift wrapping & the prices are pretty good for the chocolaty confections. A quaint & charming chocolatier addition to the WT area that's not too far from the Northfolk & Woodmont intersection. Darnell, thank you for being so friendly & answering my inquiries, at least I have a convenient place to pick up chocolate goodies to gift the sweet peeps in my life.

Bethesda Chocolates is a pretty chocolate boutique with a variety of truffles and coffee drinks- my boyfriend and I stopped by after dinner, after overhearing from the table next to us about how wonderful the truffles were. We got a box of five: apricot, hazelnut, cheesecake, bourbon, and orange blossom. They were all satisfying, but we agreed that the apricot was our favorite. The hazelnut, cheesecake and orange blossom tasted as expected, still delicious but nothing that stands out. The bourbon threw us off, as it was potent, but delicious nonetheless. I think they would be a good gift, and I would recommend stopping by if you love chocolates.

The variety of flavors is mind boggling. I tasted the chocolate truffles and I was in heaven. Rich, soft, sweet, and creamy. The best part is that it is Gluten free, egg free, non dairy, and only sweetened with natural sugar. The flavors and colors are so amazing. They offer gift boxes, where you can customize the different kinds of fudge. They also have an assortment of gifts to grab and go. They had some jewelry and electric handheld massagers. Also, stuffed animals for the kids. Service was fabulous. I already know which flavors I am choosing for my Thanksgiving dinner hostess gift. Prices are reasonable, you can get an 8 pack for $16.00. I was so impressed with this new shop. Located in Montgomery Westfield Mall, they are a gem.

We got a blueberry pop tart, and some raspberry scones, along with a chocolate covered vanilla cupcake. Yummy! The only problem is that Henry's is not just a dessert bakery - the store may appear tiny on the outside, but it's huge on the inside. In addition to the bakery, they got all kinds of candy and other goodies for sale. I gotta stop back in another day and try all the other good stuff inside. Plus, you can tell from the Rick Astley-inspired sign outside, Henry's has a great sense of humor. This is exactly what small business brings to the neighborhood. I was not sure it would be good but whatever magic y'all put in it worked great together! The frosting was light and fluffy not too sweet not too bland. And the cake was moist, not crumbly, not heavy just perfect! Had a latte with soymilk because my belly does not care for milk in coffee. Local coffee company supplies the beans.
