    Yummy dark chocolate with pistachio!!
    Akiko O.

I tried this store's truffles first time, I was so surprised the very rich taste and the pretty artistic presentations. Since then, I'm a big fan of this chocolate place! The male owner always welcomes with warm greetings and he is funny! I think the female owner is a chocolatier and her arts are always beautiful and delicious! I've come here after lunch and I was too full to try ice creams, but I'll try it next time! This time we tried dark chocolate bar with pistachio cream, pistachio bits and crispy wafer inside that started popular in Dubai. This dark chocolate was very rich and the full of pistachio flavor. Even though we can try a tiny piece, we were so satisfied. Glad we tried something new!

    Custom selection of bonbons

Arcay just recently opened up their Georgetown location, and the neighborhood is thrilled to have them. They have a beautiful selection of chocolate bonbons, as well as gelato, and some other chocolate treats. They also have an espresso machine behind the counter, and so presumably will be serving drinks as well. I purchased a box of nine bonbons to share with my wife, which lasted approximately 3 hours before we devoured them. Each flavor was delicious and the shell was perfect crisp chocolate texture. The shop itself is very cute, with limited seating in the entry area. I know they have a second floor, and I assume there's seating up there as well, but I'm not sure. There's a very cute little patio around back, which I'll be taking advantage of once the temps and mosquitos cool off. Looks like a great spot and I can't wait to see what else they plan.

One of…read morethe most interesting aspects of the restaurant is how you can't possibly put a finger on the origin of the fare. We asked our friendly waiter, and they stated the chef was from Spain, but they had schnitzel on the menu right next to lamb meatballs, and octopus. It was middle-eastern, Mediterranean, American, and anything else you could imagine. Also, amazingly, the menu was small, and, in my opinion, this is the mark of a great restaurant. Give me a menu where I want EVERYTHING on the menu. Make me regret filling up on the spectacular lamb shank and not have any room left for the 3 things I couldn't possibly try without returning. We had an amazing time. The bar is lively and, if you're dining in the "outside" portion, do not fear the cold. The patio is encapsulated in glass and the heat lamps are turbo-charged. It's difficult to stand out for amazing food in Dupont Circle, with the literally dozens of top-notch choices, and constant emergence of new possibilities. Go to Residents. You'll have zero regrets and vow to return.

I am not sure if it was HH but my food came out cold, like it was sitting for a while. It was more salty than flavorful. I can't comment on the drinks as I only had food. The atmosphere is very cute and I think it's a good place to meet up. I was informed that the spring menu is leaving soon and maybe I will try again when the summer menu drops. Labneh- was just ok Oxtail croquettes- salty and cold. Fish sliders- they weren't really memorable.

My partner and I were in the neighborhood and I was like, let's go here. It was a place that always seemed so fancy when I was barely making enough for rent. The restaurant is not flashy. It's quirky inside with antiques, statues and decorations scattered throughout. We ended up getting a seat on the patio since it was such a gorgeous night. The host was nice about my indecisiveness, and sat us at a table that was technically for 4, but it wasn't a busy night. The wine list wasn't the greatest. But the food was very tasty. The complimentary bread was just so so, a little dry. But the entrees were really good. We got the Caesar salad, risotto with shrimp and the bolognese sauce over rigatoni. Portions were fairly small for the price point. But we joked, it was good for portion control. I'm glad we finally made it to this spot. It is a very nice, neighborhood spot.

My hubby and I really enjoyed it! We arrived 20 mins early and the guy checking us in said that the tour may start early, but looking at his check in list, it seemed like it was bc almost everyone had arrived. There were 2 separate grps & only 20 ppl in ea grp. At 1st I was bummed that the 6 stops weren't places that were only choc, but it ended up being a great experience, getting a taste of other things with chocolate in it, like bread, cupcakes, caramels, and fudge, as well as chocolate bars and bon bons. We also enjoyed our guide, Linda. She was bubbly (but not sickingly), knowledgeable about the area and our stops, careful about getting us to our destination safely, and good about moving us along but not rushing us. Only complaint....1 of our stops was closed for the thanksgiving weekend. Great Food Tour should've either checked with each stop bc if the holiday, and the closed stop should've notified the tour company. We weren't made aware of the closure until near the end.
