Both were tasty, and there were several other flavors that I was interested in. They had several Asian-inspired flavors such as Ube and Pandan. If you just want an ice cream cone the ice cream is fine. However, 3 emails and 3 phone calls got zero responses/answers for a special order ice cream cake. I went in and the manager/owner(?) on duty wouldn't even speak with me (they made the girl behind the counter go back and forth three times to try and answer my questions). A simple "we can't help you, sorry" would have been appreciated. The ice cream shop is owned by a Korean and every time I come, the staff is friendly, the simple decor is cute, and the ice cream is delicious. I've tried the ube, passion fruit, cookie dough and vanilla chai. All the flavors have been strong and flavorful. The passion fruit was so refreshing. The vanilla chai has a great balance of chai and vanilla flavor and the cookie dough had a good amount of chocolate chips and cookie dough. The last time I had bourbon ice cream was at Humphry Slocumbe in San Francisco. To my delight, I found bourbon toffee ice cream here and it's so good! I also love their sorbets and vegan coffee ice cream. Legit the best. Also, big shoutout to Isabella who packaged a pint of bourbon ice cream for my husband's birthday before they ran out. However, there are more unique flavors like Horchata, mango milk, tea, or coffee and biscuits are where their strengths are. I love the beautiful pink and white design colors and the clean, cool, fresh interior. The people who worked there are very nice. I tasted two flavors, the mocha chip and the pandant coconut ice cream. All I could say, after tasting the pandan coconut ice cream was,"Oh, my!" And, the young man waiting on me, just nodded his head in agreement. The rich, creamy flavor, bursts of pandan and pieces of coconut swirled across my tongue. It was a delightful! It was so delicious! The flavors are anything, but typical. The ice cream is all made in house. The owners are two local young men, who grew up in our area. For similar style, I think Sarah's Handmade at Wildwood is a better option. Service was good. They were efficient but it in the world of ice cream, you gotta be quick before the ice cream starts to melt! They could interact with customers a bit more and be a bit more enthusiastic. Latest visit, they did get a lot of people asking to try multiple samples. That does hold up the line a bit. This spot is convenient. Parking has the typical Cabin John gripes though. We saw this place next to Gregorio's and thought it looked nice for dessert. We stopped in and there were two younger girls serving. My mom, who is staying with us from out of state, has a gluten allergy and asked for their gluten free options. One of the girls acted like we were causing a huge inconvenience and actually began mumbling something about my mom as she was serving us. We asked if they were having a nice day and they responded that they were "simply tired." As someone who used to work in the service industry, I could not believe the service we were receiving. The service was so terrible that we ended up walking out before getting anything. Try the Hagen Daas in Montgomery Mall before trying this place. The way he implemented the rule to me was not kind and ruined my experience here. I was going to order a triple scoop, but because of his attitude, I did not get 3 scoops. Before coming here, I was very excited to try this new places, but when I was leaving the store, I was very disappointed in this ice cream store...
