There's a kiosk where you can order your ice cream of choice ( I got the Rainbow Roll ) or you can order at the counter. You get three toppings that they add in after they roll up the ice cream. It's cool to watch the person making your ice cream. Thai Ice Cream is so much fun to watch. For the Rainbow Roll, it is Vanilla Ice Cream with my own three toppings. Coconut flakes, Sprinkles, and Strawberries. It's really good and refreshing after eating something spicy. A definite must visit if you crave the sweets like I do! read more

I had mix feelings about the boba. It had honey which I loved the flavor, however, some bobas were soft and chewy while others were hard. I am sure I would have enjoyed the ice cream more and had I not had a big dinner prior to my visit would have indulged. Unfortunately their ice cream only comes in one size. Incredible! Cute, nice, super-welcoming place -- I never saw such smiles greet me as I did tonight at this place! Also, soooo delicious! I had never heard of a croffle up until less than an hour ago -- and now I have eaten the most delightful crunchy-gooey, warm-and-creamy, whipped-cream-topped crumbled Oreo delight I had no idea was even possible! I was completely full when I got there, having just eaten a meal minutes before -- but when I saw this croffle thing, I just had to try it, and let me tell you it went down easy! I ordered a strawberry mango smoothie and my daughter ordered a Reese's ice cream roll with a roasted marshmallow and chocolate pocky on the side. I've seen rolled ice cream being made on TikTok before but seeing it in person was nice. It's like a true art to getting the rolls just right. My smoothie was delicious and had a delicate almost flowery taste. I can't put my finger on the actual taste but it was one of the best smoothies I've had in a while. Loved my second visit here with my hubby this time. I ordered the same thing again with different toppings-- the Strawberry Lady consisting of strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, marshmallows, and fresh strawberries. My husband got the Reese's Blast that had lots of chocolate and peanut flavors to it. Both items weren't overly sweet which I really appreciated. The order can be placed by using the touchscreen or by letting the cashier know. The price can be a bit extra except it's worth it. Our two ice cream orders came out shy of $16 but it comes with at least 3 free toppings of our choosing. The only gripe I have is parking. The lot in front of the store is perpetually full. This small family-owned shop is located near the Rockville Town Square. Known for their rolled ice cream, but also frequented for their Thai bubble teas. My girls have been dyinggggg to go here for years, but I kept putting it off for years. WHY DID I DO THAT?? I feel like I need to go again. Oops. I totally went back twice from the time I drafted my initial review. The shop itself is a typical size for an ice cream spot. There are about 5 tables and some countertop (2 tall high chairs) space to sit at. When walking in, you'll immediately see two machines to place your order facing you, some signage and the place where they make the magic to the right. It took us a minute to realize you have to use the machines to order (and then how to order). It's pretty simple. You can select from a variety of preset flavor combos, plus add three toppings and a drizzle; or you can pick a "plain" flavor and add your three toppings and a drizzle. The first time we went, the girls and I chose the "plain" - both girls had vanilla and I had coffee as the base. We each chose our own toppings. You can "upgrade" your cup to a Waffle bowl, as my eldest did, and/or add additional toppings like my youngest did. We were all super pleased with our selections. On the the second or third trip, I selected a "preset" s'mores galore combo. I learned that they don't necessarily put a bunch of "extra" toppings into the mix per se. Rather, they chopped up one graham cracker and give a few healthy squeezes of chocolate syrup. I should've made graham crackers one of my three toppings because I felt like I needed more to really achieve that s'mores flavor. I'll know for next time. Overall, the ice cream is really tasty and it's made pretty quickly. It's a bit on the pricey side (~$8 per ice cream), but i feel like I can justify the "splurge." Their gummy bears are really gummy butterflies (so cute!). And it's so cool to watch them make the rolled ice cream! Perfect place for this hot weather we've been experiencing. read more

Had to go here because this was on my list of "go to places" this summer. I'm a sugar feen so this place I was extremely excited to go to. Driving to this place I was worried about parking because any location in Rockville now? It's hit or miss with parking availability but since this location is in a mini shopping lot, there was a good amount of spots open. Customer service was good! The staff was nice and accommodating. It was cool seeing them make the Ice cream in front of you but I'm not going to lie $7.02 for a cup is a little pricey but it was good. Coco puffs, blue berries, strawberries and coconut flakes and some others. Which to me is very pre schoolish. Who mixes dry cereal into an ice cream? I chose: coconut flakes and strawberries for toppings and condensed milk for my syrup and a chocolate poky stick. The taste: average to mediocre. It wasn't very milky or tasting how ice cream should taste like. It was bland and not sweet enough for my taste buds. My strawberries tasted frozen and not fresh. It's been a while since I last came here, but it seems like they've expanded their menu to include bubble teas. I forgot how amazing their ice cream tastes here. Just watching them start with liquid and somehow end up with the finished product still baffles me. I think the 3 toppings & a free drizzle they give you is just enough to dress your dessert up to whatever your sweet tooth desires that day. I wasn't really feeling the bubble tea, though. I decided to get the Pharah: one of their specialty milk teas that's a mix of taro & almond flavors. The taro was very subtle and the almond tasted a little more floral than it did nutty. Not really sure if I really liked how this flavor combo turned out. The boba was a letdown -- a lot of undercooked ones mixed in with ones that were so soft, they stuck to your teeth. I like the novelty of the drink names (if you're an Overwatch fan/player, you'll know what I mean) & what they're served in (a lightbulb-shaped cup). I'd stick to the ice cream here. Great place to order some of those rolled ice creams you've probably seen pictures of on social media, snap a picture, and claim you've tried this trend, all after waiting 20-30 mins for your Thai iced cream. Gimmick such as watching your ice cream being made with liquid nitrogen? Perhaps, but the end result is pretty. Fresh ice cream right there, and you get to see them make those rolls! My husband and I tried Class 520 after dinner one evening. He got the key lime pie, and I got the strawberry matcha. The key lime pie sort of tasted like it, but more so of the graham cracker and not so much of the lime. They made it with plain base, crushed a piece of graham cracker and squeezed some lime juice to the base. The strawberry matcha one was a matcha base with some crushed strawberry pieces. It sort of tasted like matcha, more so of a hint, as the flavor was dominantly plain sweet cream. I didn't get the strawberry flavor in there. Given that this place is fairly new, perhaps I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Currently, the flavors aren't quite dominant, but with rumors that they'll expand to more than just rolled ice creams, I have hope, and I really hope that this place stays. These places tend to do very well in Southern California, but the population there is also much greater. Concept and look - yes. Flavor and price - wouldn't get me to become a regular. read more
