Great little local spot with good options of bubble tea and frozen yogurt treat! It's a local store with good quality tea and fast service. Friendly staff and gave good recommendations for first timer. We only ordered a simple black tea milk tea with boba, it was great! Good tea and good boba - tea is fresh and floral, bon is perfect chewiness not too hard/soft and sweet. I recommend this and would love to come back soon! read more

Bubble n' Berry - Black tea milk tea with boba - the classic - Bubble Tea Near Me - Derwood, Maryland

It has been a long while since I last visited this spot. Around the time when they first opened, I used to visit them often. On this visit, I decided to get a milk tea to-go, as I was passing through the area. I got their Coconut Milk Tea (cold) with Honey Boba and Coconut Jelly. It was my first time having any of those three items, but the combination together tasted well that I would get it again. I forgot to mention to the employee, my sweetness level and whether I wanted ice or not. I will know to do so (ahead) next time. It looks like they have a lot more items to choose from - too many to list here (check out their menu). I may get the frozen yogurt on my next visit - we'll see. read more

Ok, this is my new favorite group spot. It's SO CUTE inside and very clean. They don't seem to allow samples, which was a bummer, but I took a chance and got my usual tart mixed with their seasonal pumpkin spice. It was delicious and not too sweet. You add your own toppings, which is also a big deal for me with my froyo. The topping options were pretty standard but nothing wrong with sticking with what's tried and true. They also sell bubble tea but that wasn't what I was going for today. There aren't many froyo places left in the area (*cries*) so I'm very pleased that I stumbled upon this place! read more

I was in the area with the family for an event and my daughters (9 & 11) wanted some boba tea. Bubble 'n Berry was the closest so we headed over. The store was nice inside and we discovered when we entered that they offered froyo, boba tea, and a variety of other drink options. The folks behind the counter were very helpful and gave us an overview of all the drink options. I ended up getting a classic Milk Tea (with black tea) and the girls got Taro Milk (with no tea). My milk tea had a good tea flavor and the boba had just the right chewy consistency. The girls loved their taro drinks also. overall the drinks and customer service were really good and I would definitely come back when we are in the area. read more

We are not local to the area. Love Bubble tea and wanted to find a place where we could pick our own toppings and customize our drink. I must say, glad we chose Bubble n' Berry. Friendly service, clean, so many options of yummy bubbles and jellies, several drink options and even yogurt!! Highly recommend! read more

Bubble n' Berry - Pineapple strawberry milk tea with strawberry, and mango bubbles and mango jellies. I asked for little ice! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Derwood, Maryland

*****3.5 stars: Bubble tea review***** After passing by Bubble n' Berry so many times, I finally stopped by and tried out the bubble tea. My almond milk tea was pretty good and the boba was soft and not too chewy. It wasn't overly sweet and the nutty almond flavor came through nicely. C enjoyed his strawberry fruit tea boba, which was made with fresh strawberry. At first glance, the boba here seems like it's on the expensive side; however, there is only one size offered (24oz), so prices are pretty reasonable. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. There's plenty of parking in the lot, which gets quite busy during peak hours so you may have to circle around or park a little further out. read more

This is probably closer to 3.5 stars. I live nearby and got around to trying it out! My niece and I went when they had just opened for the day. Clean, spacious and well lit. First time so it took us a few minutes to look at the menu and make our choices. The person helping us at the counter was really nice and answered a bunch of our questions. My niece got the hibiscus tea with boba. Light. Sweet. Refreshing. Not a very strong hibiscus flavor but still tasty. The boba was sweet and bit on the softer side. I like mine with a little more chew. I got the lavender milk tea with boba. Went with non dairy powder option but think I'd try Almond milk next time. A bit sweeter than what I usually drink. The lavender was very mild. Tough when it comes to lavender cause too much and it'll taste like laundry soap. It was ok. I'll get something else next time. The teas remind me of Ten Ren. I'll go back and try the froyo, but when it comes to bubble tea, I'd pick KFT, Gong Cha or TBaar first. Still, nice to have Bubble n' Berry in the neighborhood! read more

I truly love this bubble tea shop. Ok so it also has froyo that you can mix and match and get all the toppings but I'm here for the bubble tea. Everything is made to perfection with such delicious combinations. Peach lychee, Mango passion fruit, matcha smoothie with some unique jellies and poppies to boot. Coffee jelly, honey boba, pomegranate poppers. There's a flavor here for everybody. Really, a wonderful store that deserves all the praise. read more

My daughter is obsessed with bubble tea and wherever we are, she always wants to try new places. We were in the area for lunch and decided to stop by and try. Its a cute little spot in a corner of the Redwood shopping center. We were greeted immediately and staff were so nice! The place was clean and had really cute colors. They offer froyo and a variety of milk teas...so many options. I tried the coconut milk tea and my daughter got the brown sugar. It was pretty good, but a bit on the sweeter side. My daughter liked hers, but its wasn't her favorite. If we happen to come back, we may need to adjust the sweetness level and Id definitely try some other items on the menu. Overall, not a bad bubble tea spot, and worth a try! read more

Bubble n' Berry - Taro and tart - Bubble Tea Near Me - Derwood, Maryland

Sweet service--even sweeter tea. Says my grown son. And for this guy to say it's really sweet means it's heavy on the syrup! So be warned, it might be a little too much. Located in the Redwood Shopping Center, a small neighborhood strip center, B n' B is brightly lit with a few tables for outdoor seating. I stayed in the car, but my son reports that the store was clean, and the service was swift and accurate. read more

Love this place, great atmosphere and absolutely delicious for the kiddos and adults alike

They no longer have the buy one get one free promotion on the 11th of the month, thankfully that didn't stop us from coming. The service and variety are excellent. Froyo flavors: - Mango - Coconut - Lychee Sorbet - Salted Caramel - Original Tart - Taro - Red Velvet Cake - Strawberry - Cotton Candy - Vanilla - Chocolate We got a Taro frozen yogurt (.49 cents per oz) and ordered the Large Taro slushie ($4.75) with tapioca bubbles and lychee jelly (+1.00). Our drink came with plenty of the bubbles but barely any jelly. The cashier was extremely friendly and he even custom made our bubble tea upon request (we wanted a taro slushie instead of the milk tea). It was a great experience. read more

This is my first time coming here! And its located in the Redland Shopping center. There is plenty of parking and the store itself is easy to locate. When I walked in there was only one person working and she was super sweet and friendly. Customer service was AMAZING! I came in here with my whole family. My kids were super excited because they has oriental snacks that we usually get from the asian market there on the counter and super cute spoons! They had a good amount of frozen yogurt choices. But Honestly the only one I liked was the Birthday cake. Their peanut butter flavor was somewhat sour? We tried the chocolate and it was not that great. I honestly think this is more of an oriental flavored fro-yo place. It does not taste Americanized. BUT! I know many will still enjoy their frozen yogurt. BUBBLE TEA!! I love it! Their cookies and cream!! Was great!!! I was tempted on getting the coconut flavor since she mentioned that a lot of people order that flavor. I will definitely come here again! read more

A new bubble tea and frozen yogurt place in a semi-old strip-mall. I dig it! This is one of the closest places near my home that offers bubble tea and it isn't so bad. It is not the best option out there and certainly not a place to travel far and wide to get. However, it is a good option compared to the placed nearby, which are very seldom. I do appreciate how clean this place is considering that it is new, but I can understand how quickly new places become dirtier. The place seems organized and easy to manage. They do have a lot of options for snacks in addition to the frozen yogurt and also some cool choices to mix and max. There is a good amount of seating considering that it isn't near a movie theatre or anything like that. It is a good place to say "Hey, lets meet here". Sit down and chat for 15-20 minutes should suffice. Overall, good to have a place in this location with a pretty good selection of flavors. It isn't overly sweet and pretty good. I would say I would come here again since it is pretty much on the way home. read more

I've been coming to Bubble N Berry for awhile now, and have used Local Flavor coupons as part of my purchase in the past. Today, February 1, 2019, I was trying to use a Local Flavor coupon I have that expires on February 3, 2019. And, so we're all on the same page, this is 2 days before its expiration date. After telling the worker there I had a Local Flavor, she called the owner who said they don't accept those anymore because their promotion ended. I asked how this could be if my certificate clearly states February 3, 2019 as the expiration date. The worker there said, "Sorry, we can't accept it." The owner then thinks it's alright to offer me 20% off my purchase? Is that supposed to make him denying my still-valid certificate okay? I've been a patron of Bubble N Berry for over a year now and I will tell you that I will never return here. I will make sure to share my story with family, friends, and neighbors about how unimportant their customers are to them. Again, I wasn't asking for a favor or asking to use an expired certificate. This was 100% in-force. Please, if you're reading this review, don't go here. Why support a business that won't support you back? I wish we could choose 0 Stars for a rating. Go to Yogi Berry in Olney. That's where we're headed. read more

Great place! Atmosphere is cheery, bright, and welcoming. The workers are kind and welcoming! Music is funny and fun. Highly recommend this place. Better than average for a Local Bubble tea spot. They also offer "Asian" snacks like Pocky or Hello Panda so you kinda guess the theme here. I enjoyed their product and services! Will be back again! read more

Bubble n' Berry - Thai milk smoothie. Not bad at all, probably shouldn't have gotten the pops AND lychee lol. But overall, great! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Derwood, Maryland

Samples anyone!!! When I walked in the young lady running the show quickly asked me would I like some sample cups! She must know the way to my heart!!! I sampled strawberry, cotton candy, and this sorbet flavor that was out of this world amazing. I ended up getting strawberry, coconut, and birthday cake which turned out to be a righteous combination! I contemplated putting extra toppings on it but I was on my way to the gym and I already felt guilty enough having all of that sugar. The young lady working was wonderful and attentive. She explained all the toppings to me and she was so kind and helpful. I give this place an B+! It has great lighting, great staff, great pricing, and a food product. My only drawback was that there was no sugar-free option. I'm big into eating healthy 5-6 days a week so at least let me trick myself into thinking I'm having fun even when it's just a placebo! read more

It's our new favorite bubble tea place in the area. My sister-in-law took us here for bubble teas. The place is clean and wide open. It has a nice atmosphere. They have Covid guidelines signs all over the store. Also, a few tables and chairs are not used. They have a lot of flavors to choose from; if you wanted milk tea, slush, or smoothie. They have frozen yogurt but we haven't tried it yet. We ordered the brown sugar, strawberry slushy, watermelon slushy, and mango green tea. All of them were good especially the brown sugar. The boba is fresh. It's my kid's favorite bubble tea place and every time we are at my sister-in-law's house they always wanted to stop by and get slushies. I highly recommend this local bubble tea place to everyone. read more

Bubble tea AND froyo!! Two of my husband's favorite things, in one spot! The guy working tonight (possibly the manager or owner) generously allowed us to sample lots of flavors - I really liked their mango, lychee, cotton candy froyo flavors. I was in a bubble tea mood tonight but I'll be back to get one of those froyo flavors next time. What I was really excited about was the assorted jellies as a topping in bubble tea (love them but they don't offer them in that many places in the area). Mango green tea with assorted jelly and bubbles was on point. Not too sweet and just the way I like it. Bubbles weren't really sweet either, which I don't mind, but just a heads up in case you like sweeter bubbles. Also, this place sells Asian snacks - panda cookies, hi-chew, ramune drinks, yan yan. So lots of dessert options in case you are in the mood for those as well. read more

My kids all got smoothies with popping boba. They all loved their drinks. I got the cafe mocha latte with boba and it was delicious as well. I asked for 50% sweetness and was warned that would be very sweet but still ordered it. It was yummy but yes a little sweeter than what I would've wanted:. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was entertaining. read more

Amazed at the selection from the tea to the fro-yo to the candies and the pastries. A very nice selection to choose from.

I would give them zero stars if I could. My husband and I always go to their store for our frozen treats and spend usually $15-$35 and put it on our credit card ( like every other place). My husband went out to get us our weekly treat and built up our yogurts and when he went to pay and two young ladies told him that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH!! That they had signs ( very small, but who cares if you have an insane policy like that welcome people with that ) He asked if they had an ATM but they didn't and he said that he didn't have cash ( please note that he had two big tubs of frozen yogurt with all the toppings on the scale ready to pay), he asked them what he should do now because he wasn't able to get cash to pay them and they said to DUMP THEM IN THE TRASH!! How insane is that?!? My husband and I don't like to waste food and he is the kindest man around and he walked into our house very upset abs swore to god that he would never step foot in their business. They have lost a very good customer and lost my respect for their wasteful food policy. read more

First of all, what is that smell? It smells like an old wet rag in here, that should have sent me packing. We stuck around and got the kids all fro yo, and Caitlin and I got smoothies. Although the kids didn't complain, I tried all the flavors of fro yo and none of them really hit the mark. I got a pinacolada smoothie and she got the strawberry smoothie. Neither of them were what I'd call smooth. More like snow cones, very crunch chunky ice. I really wanted this place to be great because it's closer than KungFu Tea, but it just didn't do it for me. read more

This place had the same number of stars as Kung Fu Tea in Germantown so we decided to try it, thinking it would be of the same high caliber. We were wrong. We should have turned around when upon walking in the door it smelled like a stale fart. But we decided to persevere! After all, they have froyo for the kids...which they seemed to enjoy just fine. The scale however is not tared to the cups, so you pay for them along with the yogurt and toppings...they weigh about 1/2 oz so they are an extra .25. So we spent an extra $1.25 on our kids cups alone. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning. I ordered a smoothie with mango poppers, and it was anything but smooth. The whole thing was icy like a slurpee from 7-11. The flavors were nice but it wasn't terribly pleasant to drink (I'm not a fan of the slurpee). So next time we want bubble tea we will be going back to Kung Fu! read more

Wow where do I start? I came to this place when it was being built and ordered right when it opened. The staff are amazing. The owner is extremely nice and often gives me discounts. That doesn't happen much anymore because I've left MD and now am about a hour away but whenever I visit I try to support and come when I can. I recommend the lychee fresh tea with lychee jelly and bubbles (boba). I've been coming to this place for a long time. The honeydew milk tea is also extremely good, it can be a bit sweet so maybe dial down the sweetness to 70%. Place is super clean and I've never had a cup of frozen yogurt from here but the owner and one of the staff would always give me a bunch of sample cups. Of course I'd always go to the lychee yogurt and the coconut. Overall amazing read more
