So happy there's a new Korean bakery so close to me!! C&C Cafe is such a gem in Germantown. The owners are incredibly sweet, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every pastry. Everything is super cute and actually tastes amazing. Buy your cakes here!! I love that they offer mini cakes, which I desperately need. For a family of four that doesn't really eat cake, these are the perfect solution: smaller size, beautifully made, not overly sweet, and very reasonably priced. The Earl Grey grapefruit cake was delicious. Light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The cake had a subtle Earl Grey aroma, and the grapefruit added a fresh, bright citrus note that cut through the cream without being sour or bitter. It tasted super fresh and didn't feel heavy at all. I also tried a few of their other pastries (cream puff and the custard bread so freaking delish) and loved how curated everything felt, not mass-produced like big bakery chains. Plus, they have seating, wifi, and outlets, which makes it a great spot to hang out. Will 100% be back and already planning to order one of their mini cakes for my next celebration:)

Needed a quick coffee and some sweets and decided to stop here. Cute little bakery shop, tasty coffee and desserts. Friendly people clean seating area, and lots and lots of cute desserts. Ordered butterscotch latte, vanilla & chocolate teddy bear bread and choc cream puff dessert. Both choc and vanilla teddybear bread were both not too sweet just as I like it. Will be coming back to try other pastry/desserts.

Why have I not stopped by sooner? I told my child they could pick one thing and I walked out with a bag and box because I could not stop myself once I saw all the cute and interesting flavors offered. The lady who helped me was very friendly and helpful, apparently her co-owner makes the cakes. The macaroons had individual decorations and so did the cakesicles. There are a lot of bear decorations. They have a variety of flavors: lychee, blueberry, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, red bean, matcha, and earl grey with grapefruit. That last one was intriguing and so I bought a cake slice and found myself impressed with how the grapefruit pieces work so well with the earl grey cake and fluffy cream. The strawberry matcha basque slice caught my eye and I'm not a cheesecake fan. I'm eyeing the half I saved which might be consumed immediately after I finish this review because I want to taste it again. Despite being desserts, the sweetest thing was the strawberry jam on the basque. They bake breads fresh each day and I slowly kept adding the discounted bread that was baked from the previous day as I kept discovering new flavors. I definitely will be coming back to try more sweets and some drinks next time!

I grocery shop in this shopping center and have seen many restaurants come and go over the past 20 years. Today, I decided to stop by this cafe and I'm very glad I did. The treats were delicious. I got the early grey and grapefruit cake. Frosting was perfectly sweet to balance the grapefruit. I also got a passion fruit ade which was super refreshing and bubbly. But what made my visit was the hospitality of the woman working. She answered my questions, and gave a little treat to everyone in the store on this cloudy afternoon. I can't wait to bring back my friends!

Another new bakery in Germantown to add to your list! The cakes are very cute and would look nice at a party. I enjoyed my brown sugar milk tea with tapioca boba. It was pricey but delicious. My husband didn't love his iced americano or cold brew so will probably skip that next time. Cream puff and strawberry tart were good. Overall it's kinda pricey $$$ Warm service from the cashier. It was a little slow for being the only visitors but we weren't in a hurry.

Sweet treat run! I always love coming here. The service is amazing per usual. The tiramisu was good, the cream was very rich. The cheesecake was so delicious 11/10 recommend. My son likes the cakesicle. The store was filled with endless treats and a great drink selection.

    Mother's day cake!

So happy this cute cafe is local to me. Can't say enough how much I love this place. Enjoyed the Ginger Latte and Strawberry smoothie. The matcha slice was to die for. Service was quick and super friendly. Ordered a mother's day cake and got to choose Mango filling. As a previous Yelper stated, the cake isn't overly sweet which made my happy. Will return again!

The cream puffs were really good. I tried vanilla and matcha, and I liked the vanilla one more. We found this place on Yelp while looking for a new dessert spot. We went on Sunday around 6 PM, and the shop was quiet with only us there. The service was nice and friendly. The shop is fairly new (about 5 months) and has a lot of cute desserts. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Came to grab some lattes. Also purchased the butter scone, and honey butter garlic sticks (extremely tasty). All were delicious. I got a decaf butterscotch latte and loved it since it was creamy and sweet. The people working are nice and the inside is pretty cute. Definitely will return.

Why is no one talking about this place online? The food is so tasty and so so cute! Apparently it's been open since last summer, but I just now learned about it. The service was excellent, staff is friendly, and drinks were soooo good. My mom got the butterscotch latte, tasty and not too sweet. I got an iced matcha latte and enjoyed that too. The food looks so lovingly prepared and the choco cookie cream puff was bomb. Hidden gem for now but I doubt that will last long. I wish you guys had an instagram because more people should know about this place.

The matcha latte was really good! Super creamy and a bit sweet. The chocolate and strawberry cream puffs were absolutely adorable! The cream was light and not too sweet

There's seating inside, but the seating area is pretty small and some people were at tables looking like they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. It was a nice morning, so we were able to grab an outside picnic table. The service was decent. One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this. Anyway, it's a nice neighborhood place and there's a lot of treats there.

La Poteria was the perfect midpoint to grab our morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat before we hit the Harpers Ferry hiking trails. The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.
