He was tragically killed by a hit and run driver last year. He was a friendly, outgoing, and a pillar of the community. Truthfully, I teared up at a memorial in the bakery for this family man and excellent chef. We had many conversations when I came in to pick up family occasion cakes. It is hard to believe he is not there. The business is still running under the capable hands of his daughter and son in law ( and his right hand baker- Maria). My granddaughter's cake turned out beautifully and was delicious. The bakery is still here and although I really miss seeing chef Harry, but I am so happy his family continues to honor him and serve delicious baked goods. No cash.. I have come to this place many times lately twice within one week and each time they only take card no cash. The cakes and pastries are very tasty and delicious but a little over-priced, more expensive than other places and the portion seems to be a little small. But after all this bakery sells pretty good cakes and pasties minoir things need to be done but over all good.

She took a bite and immediately noticed that the cream filling tasted sour. I tried it myself and could tell right away that the cream tasted spoiled, it wasn't just an unusual or overly tangy flavor. Ube is also usually sweet, never sour. I went to the counter to let the staff know because I was concerned about the freshness of the other cruffins. The cashier told me there was "no way" it could be spoiled because they had been made that morning, but then asked another coworker to taste the filling. She tried it twice but didn't really comment on the taste. They did offer to exchange the cruffin or provide a refund, which I appreciated, but at that point I was no longer comfortable eating it and wondered about the freshness of the other ones as well, so I opted for the refund. I've generally had good experiences with the food here, so this was definitely an off experience. Hopefully this was an isolated issue, but I'd be a little more cautious with the filled pastries and their freshness.

The employee who gave me my drink showed it to his supervisor I guess because quite a bit of the ice had melted. He was told, "it's fine, it sat" with a who cares attitude. I was fine with the drink as I was late and I had not asked for a remake. Since it was quite diluted on top, I went over to stir the drink and remove the cover. The supervisor looked over at me then proceeded to tell the employee that it's not their problem if it's not picked up on time, they just make them when we give them a time. His attitude was very much "screw them if they are late." As I was standing right across from him, I said, "I heard you." He approached the area that leads to the dining room and said "I was talking to him, mind your business." As I have worked in customer service, managed service employees, and hire service reps, my comment to him was simply to bring awareness that his "customer" should not be witness to his complete disregard for them or their purchase. He became very aggressive and told me to get my drink and get out. I asked for his name and he refused and continued to tell me to get out and don't come back. I shared that I would be reporting his behavior and he responded, good. You are trespassed. I asked for what reason? and was told that he didn't like my attitude and that unless I didn't have a problem with him then to get out and he would call the police if I ever came back. He proceeded to tell me that he had plenty of customers and didn't need my business as he has 5 stores. Truthfully, I am happy not to return to this store or any other if this is the level of service provided by your employees. On my previous visit, I waited almost 10 minutes for my drink after it was to be ready and I had no issues or complaints with the staff. Things happen and I assume they did not hold up my drink on purpose. To not be extended the same courtesy as a paying customer is beyond mind boggling. There are too many similar bakeries in this area for me to stress over this location, but poor service bothers me and this was far beyond poor service.
