    Quiche Lorraine and arugula salad
    Debby O.

I decided to check out this spot after reading so many positive reviews. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Nick's (the owner) amazing smile and warmth. It's a quaint spot, there's not much seating available so I consider it more of a grab and go type of bakery. I ordered the quiche Lorraine, which came with an arugula side salad, the first one I received was burnt so I went back in and Nick was able to get me a new one. Whatever dressing they're using on that arugula salad is phenomenal, I'm usually not a fan of arugula, but the dressing made it sweet and appealing to me. Onto the quiche, I loved the flavor, it has nice big chunks of ham and a flaky crust, my only critique was that it was a tad bit salty.

I can't believe I haven't been here already. The pastries remind me of Paris! If you want something that is truly authentic and different from the overly sugary pastry shops that have been popping up, this is the place to go. The croissants are light and fluffy The sandwiches are flavorful The coffee is warm and cozy I wanted to try everything in the store, but my tummy can only hold so much so I'll have to come back. Here are my suggested must try: 1. The Paris brest eclair - light and not overly sweet. Perfect with a cup of coffee or black tea 2. Wagyu beef sandwich - simple but delicious 3. Plain croissant - they are super light and fluffy There is very little seating inside and only one or two people running the shop. The service was good and we got some great recommendations. They also have a bunch of cute little gifts and whipped honey inside

    Delicious croissants and muffins.

What a lovely surprise! I was on my way home and spotted Petit Delice. Petit Delice translated into English means small delight . It is a charming small bakery, cafe, and sandwich shop. The service was wonderful. The young lady who waited on me was as sweet as could be. They have a selection of coffees, sandwiches, croissants and macarons. And, let me tell you that passion fruit macaron was fabulous. The outside crust was delicate and crunchy. The inside was packed full with a delicious filling of passion fruit. The chocolate croissant I tasted was light, flaky and full of chocolate filling. The inside of the shop was lovely decorated on pinks and beiges. The seats looked really comfortable. The prices for the macarons were a little high, but definitely worth every penny. I really enjoyed my first trip to Petit Delice and I look forward to trying some of their coffees with my baked goods on my next visit.

I enjoyed one of the best pecan pie slices and a great pumpkin chai latte this morning. This cafe is purely a boutique cafe nestled in a small shopping center in Rockville. I only found out about it from a friend who lives in the area. It's small and exquisite, and they have a decent selection of pastries and home made pies. There are only a handful of tables, and some of the tables are outside as well. I received great personal attention from the person working there. The pastries baked fresh every morning, and the latte that I had was also made fresh.

French patisserie recently opened up in Rockville with a cute ambiance and cozy vibes. This month they came out with spooky specialty drinks! Ordered Jack-o lantern latte which is caramel and marshmallow combined , which was tasty and cute! You'll have to see my pic to decide yourself! :) Also ordered my favorite canele, which was actually soft and just the right sweetness to it. Friendly customer and would definitely love to come back and trying other drinks and bakeries!

The BLTs on the most amazing bread, Matcha on the lower left, Gingerbread Latte on the upper left; all DELICIOUS!!!

OMG!! The almond chocolate croissant, DELICIOUS! The BLT, DELICIOUS! The matcha, DELICIOUS! The customer service is lovely and the owner is such sweet person. You can taste the love in the food and the drinks!! The cafe its self is gorgeous with so many items from France, like jams, cookies, and chocolates! The owner let us know that the bakery items and sandwiches are all made in house, trust me when you come in you can smell it; truly the food is incredible!! Thank you so much Petit Delice for a lovely meal and memory with my mama, I'll be back soon!!! (sorry no pic of the chocolate almond croissant, I inhaled it after the first bite)

Second time back. The macaroons just shine! 16 different varieties! Quiche is fresh too! Crispy crust, creamy eggs.

    Delicious sweets!

Delicious Madeleine cookies and hot tea! They also sell these Amazing chocolates made with Venezuelan chocolate. Brings me wonderful memories of enjoying tea and a Madeleine in Paris.

You pick your pastries from the self-serve shelves. Some items looked like they had been sitting out for a while and were a little dry, while others had just been restocked and looked much fresher. Most of the selection leans toward buttery, laminated pastries, such as croissants, Danishes, and croffles rather than baguettes or rolls. They also have fresh cakes displayed near the counter. The two pastries we had were both good and satisfying. The pain aux raisins had a moist texture with a gentle sweetness. The croffle itself was nicely buttery and delicious, although the cream on top was a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and location. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee was only lukewarm, which was a letdown. Parking really depends on the time and day. We were lucky to find a spot right in front, but the plaza gets busy since there are several popular stores/restaurants, so it can be competitive if you're aiming to park close by. Overall, I'm happy to have another French-inspired Asian bakery option in Rockville.

Pretty good balance of tea to milk ratio and reminds me of molly tea. 4/5 Jasmine Milk Tea - honestly pretty good too. feels like a molly tea knock off with the menu offerings, cup designs and even flavor profile. its slightly too sharp but still good. 3.75/5 Da Hong Pao Milk Tea - the tea flavor is there but it doesn't mix as well as the magnolia or jasmine. When I first walked in, the aesthetic of the place was great. It was quite big with a nice corner to relax in and a display of snacks. The staff was also very friendly and respectful while I was looking at the menu. However, the food and drinks are where this becomes a 2 or 3-star experience. The Items I Ordered: * Brown Sugar Cookie Boba Tea: This was bland and had little to no flavor. The milk was overpowering, and it had almost no brown sugar or cookie taste. * Soufflé Pancakes: I was told these were "authentic Japanese Pancakes," but I am heavily disappointed. The presentation was poor: a paper plate with pancakes surrounded by fruits, a dab of ice cream, and a small plastic bowl of cream. The pancakes themselves were bland and very eggy. Unfortunately, they tasted more like an egg pancake than the traditional Japanese style. They were also very dry. If the cream wasn't included, I wouldn't have even eaten them. Having to rely on the cream just for the pancakes to have flavor or moisture is very disappointing. * Chocolate Lava Buns: I bought one of these, and it was just okay. They were fluffy, but the chocolate inside wasn't melted. It was also very bitter and very heavy on the dark chocolate side so it was not a "savory taste" for what I had thought originally. * Cherry Tart: This was the final item I bought, and again, it was only okay. The bun was a bit hard. While the flavor was better than I expected at first, it fell off quite quickly and became unappetizing. Final Verdict: Would I recommend this place? Not necessarily. Unless you are just looking for a corner to study in and bring your own food, I wouldn't suggest it.

Tatte has a lot of seating, however, they are so popular it often feels small when waiting in line to order. A few times I have visited I could not find a table and had to take my latte to go. If I visit outside their busier hours or I get lucky I have snagged a table and had the luxury of drinking my latte at a table inside. Despite how crowded it is inside I can always hear my friends and carry on conversation indoors easily. Occasionally it has been hard to hear when your order is ready so I definitely recommend checking in at the pickup area to make sure you get your latte while it is hot. So far my favorite latte is the Black Sesame Latte with nondairy milk. It is not too sweet, a little nutty, and so smooth. I especially love visiting Tatte in the fall for their version of a pumpkin spice latte. The syrup they use is dairy free which is challenging to find. I do wish Tatte had more vegan options, and more clearly labeled on the menu what can be modified to be vegan. Part of the reason I have not tried any of the food is because navigating the menu as a vegan is challenging. I hope they can make some changes so I can have breakfast or lunch with my latte in the future. For now I love visiting Tatte for a treat yo self moment. The lattes are my favorite in Rockville and a wonderful pick me up if I need to brighten my day.

I love the high ceilings, layout, seating; it's giving French café with a twist. The desserts look phenomenal and their coffee/tea selection covers all the basics with a few extras (like pistachio, black sesame, and halva syrup), MEM tea blends, matcha, as well as a selection of coolers that sound absolutely divine using white peach/mint, strawberry/cardamom, and mango/ginger syrups. Who doesn't love a housemade syrup? I ordered the honey halva latte, raspberry meringue, pistachio cherry tart, and a plain butter tube (comes with 17 butter cookies). The butter cookies were perfect dipped in coffee, but almost everything else fell short. Looked divine, tasted so-so. The raspberry meringue might be one of the prettiest desserts I've seen but the filling left something to be desired. It had an odd aftertaste, while the pistachio tart barely had any kind of flavor. The coffee was, in a word, disappointing. The crumb cheesecake cup was tasty, but it felt like it was missing something. The woman who rang me up also wasn't friendly, which seemed a little odd considering that I'm a paying customer. Like she had an attitude for no reason. A simple "pick your coffee up over there" would suffice, considering that it was my first time and the barista was located on the other side of the establishment. Would I come back? If a friend wanted to go. Would I make it a point to? Probably not. My visit had good points but overall it just felt like something was missing.
