Such a hidden gem. This bakery opened just a few months ago, so it still feels like a new discovery, and the owner is from France. The space itself is quite small, with only three tables available for dining in. When we arrived, two couples were already waiting, but the line moved quickly. The menu is surprisingly extensive for such a tiny shop, and I will definitely need to come back to try more items. You will find classic French viennoiseries like croissants and pain au raisin, along with savory options such as quiche and pretzel bun sandwiches, as well as pastries like cakes and eclairs. After browsing the display case, we chose the kouign amann, pistachio eclair, and a small latte. Prices felt very reasonable, especially considering the rising cost of quality baking ingredients. We ended up enjoying everything in our car. The kouign amann was beautifully caramelized, buttery, and lightly sweet, with dense, well defined layers that made it very satisfying. The pistachio eclair was outstanding. The choux pastry was evenly risen, light, and tender, while the pistachio filling was rich, creamy, and deeply nutty. The natural beige green color of the glaze and filling clearly suggested real pistachio paste rather than artificially colored commercial versions. The coffee itself was average, but it paired nicely with the pastries. Service was friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of parking available in the lot. The flavors here instantly reminded me of my recent trip to France, and I am so glad I found this place. I will absolutely be back to try more items.

What an adorable find in the middle of Rockville. The pastries were authentically French and delish. They had artisanal candles and tea towels for purchase which I couldn't resist. I would highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

I can't believe I haven't been here already. The pastries remind me of Paris! If you want something that is truly authentic and different from the overly sugary pastry shops that have been popping up, this is the place to go. The croissants are light and fluffy The sandwiches are flavorful The coffee is warm and cozy I wanted to try everything in the store, but my tummy can only hold so much so I'll have to come back. Here are my suggested must try: 1. The Paris brest eclair - light and not overly sweet. Perfect with a cup of coffee or black tea 2. Wagyu beef sandwich - simple but delicious 3. Plain croissant - they are super light and fluffy There is very little seating inside and only one or two people running the shop. The service was good and we got some great recommendations. They also have a bunch of cute little gifts and whipped honey inside

I decided to check out this spot after reading so many positive reviews. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Nick's (the owner) amazing smile and warmth. It's a quaint spot, there's not much seating available so I consider it more of a grab and go type of bakery. I ordered the quiche Lorraine, which came with an arugula side salad, the first one I received was burnt so I went back in and Nick was able to get me a new one. Whatever dressing they're using on that arugula salad is phenomenal, I'm usually not a fan of arugula, but the dressing made it sweet and appealing to me. Onto the quiche, I loved the flavor, it has nice big chunks of ham and a flaky crust, my only critique was that it was a tad bit salty.

Opera Cake - Magnificent texture and chocolate is incredible. I'm eating one every Sunday.

Adding to my previous review about their outstanding espresso, I tried the Opera Cake. Oh my gosh it is absolutely delicious.

    Delicious croissants and muffins.

What a lovely surprise! I was on my way home and spotted Petit Delice. Petit Delice translated into English means small delight . It is a charming small bakery, cafe, and sandwich shop. The service was wonderful. The young lady who waited on me was as sweet as could be. They have a selection of coffees, sandwiches, croissants and macarons. And, let me tell you that passion fruit macaron was fabulous. The outside crust was delicate and crunchy. The inside was packed full with a delicious filling of passion fruit. The chocolate croissant I tasted was light, flaky and full of chocolate filling. The inside of the shop was lovely decorated on pinks and beiges. The seats looked really comfortable. The prices for the macarons were a little high, but definitely worth every penny. I really enjoyed my first trip to Petit Delice and I look forward to trying some of their coffees with my baked goods on my next visit.

I enjoyed one of the best pecan pie slices and a great pumpkin chai latte this morning. This cafe is purely a boutique cafe nestled in a small shopping center in Rockville. I only found out about it from a friend who lives in the area. It's small and exquisite, and they have a decent selection of pastries and home made pies. There are only a handful of tables, and some of the tables are outside as well. I received great personal attention from the person working there. The pastries baked fresh every morning, and the latte that I had was also made fresh.

French patisserie recently opened up in Rockville with a cute ambiance and cozy vibes. This month they came out with spooky specialty drinks! Ordered Jack-o lantern latte which is caramel and marshmallow combined , which was tasty and cute! You'll have to see my pic to decide yourself! :) Also ordered my favorite canele, which was actually soft and just the right sweetness to it. Friendly customer and would definitely love to come back and trying other drinks and bakeries!

The BLTs on the most amazing bread, Matcha on the lower left, Gingerbread Latte on the upper left; all DELICIOUS!!!

OMG!! The almond chocolate croissant, DELICIOUS! The BLT, DELICIOUS! The matcha, DELICIOUS! The customer service is lovely and the owner is such sweet person. You can taste the love in the food and the drinks!! The cafe its self is gorgeous with so many items from France, like jams, cookies, and chocolates! The owner let us know that the bakery items and sandwiches are all made in house, trust me when you come in you can smell it; truly the food is incredible!! Thank you so much Petit Delice for a lovely meal and memory with my mama, I'll be back soon!!! (sorry no pic of the chocolate almond croissant, I inhaled it after the first bite)

When we visited the first time it was very busy - on a Wednesday afternoon. No one is working and everyone is out drinking coffee? LOL! All the pastries are in the middle cases, mostly sweet ones on one side and savoy on the other. The price was very reasonable, unless you get the few selective croissants with special ingredients, such as the pistachio one we tried. The highlight is the latte. These days when you go to a cafe they give you a paper cup regardless if you are dining in with no latte art. We got the cute cup with lovely art. This along deserves 4.5 stars. The pastry were just OK if you ask me. You are able to heat it up yourself with the little toaster by the counter, but you feel rushed as there are others standing around waiting to heat up theirs, or want to get water which is right next to the toaster. overall it was a cute little place, I think it was owned by Korean as it give me a very korean cafe vibe.. Some seatings were comfy (the ones in the back) and the others was a bit hard. Most of the pastries are in the middle with sweet ones on one side and savoys on the other. The price was really reasonable. I saw so many savoy ones I would love to try if I ever visit at BF time. I saw they have Cronut (Croissant and Donut in one). I had had Cronut in Vegas (at the Paris Hotel), but the ones here looked a little different so I wanted to try. Mistake. It was extremely greasy. The oil soaked through the paper plate and I had to squeeze the pieces I cut with napkins to get as much oil out as possible. I would give it a 2 star, it would have been good if not so oily. The egg tarts on the other hand deserved a 5 star. Love it. The latte tasted fine, but it took them a while to make it (almost 10 mins) and served in the normal paper cup, I was hoping for a nice latte art since it took so long. Overall it is a wonderful place to sit around and enjoy some quiet time, just don't get the cronut unless they cut down on the oil...

The tofu steam bun -- easily my favorite lunch item in the area -- really didn't work. It's still an interesting experience but I really can't recommend a place I now avoid. --- PROS - Interesting selection, interesting food, lots of options, overall friendly staff. - Bathrooms were clean. The interior of the restaurant seemed like a good meeting/date spot. Although they had Wifi, I wouldn't call this a great place to come and study or get work done, although I saw people doing that. I've had the Vietnamese coffee twice, the first time was great, the second time was just okay. Food items are very unique, so much so I didn't like some of them but I still enjoyed the experience. Try something that sounds weird, it's half the fun of coming in here. CONS * Allergies - it wasn't clear what all everything was made with so if you're trying to avoid gluten or peanuts or eggs, I didn't see much on ingredients. I know for some people that's a red flag. * The tea. We just thought it was above average but not amazing. I mean its right in the name, come on. * Collecting items - you gotta look for the little trays and the salad tongs. That's what you use to grab stuff out of the cases. I know for most people that was super obvious but it wasn't for me. * Summertime note: during the hotter months I've noticed they seem to have some issues with keeping things cool.

Once I let it cool, it had a citrus taste, but not sweet. I am still glad to have tried it and did not have to wait long for the order. Within a block of leaving the business, while holding the hot cup with one hand (the sleeve only helped a little), some of the hot tea spilled on me suddenly (I now have a burned scar on my knuckle).
