The bubble tea tastes great with fresh milk and all kinds of toppings/ adjustments. I love they have earl grey tea! We also love the shaved ice any 3 toppings it's great on a hot day. The tofu pudding is also delicious with any 3 toppings.

Surprisingly I liked this place! We were craving something sweet after eating next door & this place had boba & other desserts. I got the osmanthus oolong tea with tapioca & oat milk. Was happy to see that they had milk alternatives since I know some places that still don't. It had a good tea flavor & was nice & light. I enjoyed it. Plus the boba was nice & chewy. Would go again.

I got the black classic milk tea, in hopes that it would taste like Kung fu's milk tea. My expectations were met! Bubbles&Tea taste more tea than the milky compared to KFU, which I found really refreshing. Next time, I would love to try something from their top 10 that's more adventurous like tiramisu milk, mango milk tea, or their 3Q milk tea (bubble, pudding, grass jelly). Very cute and cozy cafe with gacha machines. Good place for smaller groups like maybe max 4 because of limited seating.

Our favorite bubble tea place in the area! It's a hidden gem, next to A&J on the lower level of the Woodmont Station shopping plaza... We love this place because it is super friendly and we're always greeted warmly...the bubble tea is consistently pretty great (we are here at least 3 or 4 times a week), and you can adjust the sugar level (for most of the drinks). My favorites are the regular black milk tea with bubbles, the warm ginger milk tea, and the winter melon bubble tea. They also have special desserts difficult to find anywhere--my favorites are the grass jelly with taro balls and tofu pudding with red bean. Highly recommended!

Fenny (the owner) is very nice. Great drink and good space to hang out with friends. Highly recommend in this area.

Small, cute shop, located next to A&J in the shopping center. Tried the green tea yogurt drink, which can be customized by sweetness and ice amount. Bubbles were extra, but good and chewy. They also have other topping options, which aren't available at all bubble shops.

Although not on the menu, the girl behind the counter was accommodating to my request for a red bean slushie. The place is on the smaller side with just a couple of tables. They do have those vending machine thingys but for one item you need tokens ($6), which is a bit pricey. It's also in the same shopping center as Duck donuts so it's a win-win!

Fun little shop with tasty bubble tea and shaved ice! Everything was made fresh to order and there are coin machines to grab yourself a nice little toy. It takes only tokens, which there is a change machine that takes both cash and credit cards. Parking is plenty as it is shared lot with other businesses. Enjoy!

So Bubbles&Tea is located off the Pike, but very easy to overlook, as it's kind of tucked away in a corner. It's next door to A&J, so I'll usually stop in for a drink after having stuffed my belly with food, but it's easy to forget about it otherwise. I've been to B&T a number of times, and have tried most of the slush/smoothies and standard milk teas, all are good! The juices they use are from Taiwan so it's probably a lot more authentic than some of the other bubble tea shops in the area. The other day, my sister made an Uber Eats order for multiple drinks, and I tried the Earl Grey Almond Milk Tea AND Hazelnut Milk Tea for the first time! WHAT? HAZELNUT?! Where has this been my entire life?! Ok, so I've had Almond milk tea at other shops, and usually it's overly powdery, but not this one! And the Hazelnut... omg so good. Even with 75% sugar, it was plenty sweet to cure my craving for sweets. And the pudding.... So soft and a perfect amount of globby goodness to feel like I got some substance when literally slurping up the entire large drink in 3 minutes. Definitely a must try! Hazelnut Milk Tea, 75% sweet, with pudding. You won't regret it!

    Hot drinks available!

I can't believe I haven't done a review for this spot... Maybe I am just trying to keep this a secret cause it's my go to spot for amazing bubble tea! We just moved from LA and if you know, LA has a pretty big Asian area where I can get really authentic good bubble tea drinks. Well, moving to Maryland is great and I heard that Rockville is a smaller version of the Asian area in LA... But after a few try in different stores, we found this!!! A store that has strong and flavorful black tea, yet not too sweet nor watered down! Boba is perfectly chewy and not too soft or too hard. We have been here so many times now I can't remember all the drinks I've tried from them... But my hubby only gets their classic black tea with boba and it is always made with perfect boba and perfect amount of sweetness. I am amazed how their staffs are so well trained that whoever made those drinks, it will always be the same! (If you like to go to local bubble tea shops, you know it's a struggle sometimes.) Service is always good and very polite staffs. We are in almost the end of covid19 (well, in my hopes and wishes), they still not allow people inside the store and order by the front door. I actually quite like that since we are still not in guarantee that everyone got their vaccines. I am already a regular (every week/ once every 2 weeks type. Can't do too much sugar for this old body... :'( ), I will sure visit again soon and I hope you do too!

Gem in Rockville. One of the only establishments with tofu pudding. Authentic flavor and customizable. Brown or ginger sugar syrup. Very yummy

Tables not cleaned and most uneven and wonky. Just one sad front of house employee working that I saw just getting through the orders that are self order. This place has zero ambiance. I went to the bathroom and toilet tissue was nearly out and there was no way to even get anyone's attention to attend to that. Employee just kept their head down working. Food- drinks were great. My favorite is the watermelon coconut jelly. We had the pork chop pineapple bun. This is still a good sandwich. Tastes like they used to make it. Juicy pork chop, sweet pineapple bun. The construction of the sandwich leaves much to be desired because all the wet veggie ingredients slide the entire sandwich. Once you start eating, you should not put this sandwich down or it will come apart. They should put the sandwich in a sleeve. We ordered the fried chicken bento box. This bento has changed a bit from their previous version. With the new paper packaging, there are less compartments for goodies. The fried chicken recipe is different as all the batter fell off the chicken and was just a mess. There was close to zero pickles greens. With the dish which I feel brings this kind of bento together. Conclusion is food is decent, ambiance sucks. Would order to go from here but any fried food from here will be a disaster after you get it home. Had high hopes as I loved the previous location's food. Now being able to "look behind the curtain" and see how everything is made, I kind of feel question the cleanliness of this place.

My wife liked that you can choose what kind of tea (black, green, or Oolong) for the taro drink, and we both found the cheese foam to be perfectly creamy and savory. Similarly, my strong iced coffee was prepared according to my taste with 0% sugar, and the cream topping had a discernible ube flavor without excessive sweetness. We both opted for grass jelly mixed into our potables and appreciated the soft, slurpable texture which indicated freshness. Our drinks averaged around $8 per, which is pretty standard. The interior of Ding was clean and bright, certainly pleasant enough in which to pass some time. We are glad we tried this place and can easily foresee returning when in the area.

As I walked past to find a different lunch place, I saw a different door with an open sign in it, and noticed the "big crowd" inside. Popping in, I found four people. One looked to be taking pictures for social media. One was sitting at a table, one at the claw machine, and the last, very bored, at one of the counters. Not a great sign. So, the hall reminds me painfully of a mall food court. There are six ish restaurants along one side, lots of seating on the other, and it's literally otherwise a hall. A bar sits at one side, and that was indeed closed. The restaurants are little more than counters, and all have kiosks. Behind them is their presumably shared kitchen. The restaurants are all fast food style. You can order from any restaurant from any kiosk. I chose the Japanese restaurant Milan, and Gong Cha for boba tea (hi, my name is Joshua, and I'm a bobaholic). Gong Cha was good, Milan was okay, but I'm reviewing the space here. Oh, and one of the restaurants also sells cheap, $7 rings -- also a good sign. I did go to the restroom, and it was slightly terrifying. There's a sign over the urinals thats said "DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING." I am not sure what that meant, but I was careful not to touch any surface in the filthy bathroom. You ever use a restroom and you contemplate whether washing your hands after is a net gain or loss? Gross. After eating, I asked the one staff member where to put my tray, which was a single trash can on the far area. None of the restaurants really impressed me, and they're all chain-like. I can get better food in lots of other places, without the mall kiosk feeling. Like traditional malls, this place is painfully dying.
