My daughter and I got gel manicures and were both very pleased with the experience. Krystal Nails was a super hygienic, clean salon with very attentive and especially kind nail artists. They were not distracted and made a nice effort to connect with us. The atmosphere was very relaxing, music was pleasant in the background, and the level of hygiene was noteworthy. A new packet of nail implements was opened containing sterile reusable tools and a new package of disposable files and a buffer was opened too. The meticulous application of polish was exceptional. The cost was comparable to others in the area, selection of polish or applications available too. Note they prefer cash (well who doesn't?). We will be returning! read more

16 minutes ago I was sadden to see this today. I went into Krystal Nails and the guy who usually sits on the right hand side of the salon (the only guy in the salon) made a lady cry. He was rude to me when I asked for an appointment but I let it go. But I just couldn't let it go when I saw the lady that was before me cry because of the way he treated her. It was heartbreaking to see her so broken and to see him so unapologetic and harsh towards her. Out of respect to this nice lady I'm not posting the video but I really hope this man changes his heart and treats his customers with more respect. I moved nearby about 7 months ago, and I don't know why, but never went in. I had tried quite a few other nail salons before coming here. I actually went to an expensive salon 10 days prior, and needed another gel manicure sooner than I normally would with a decent manicure. My previous manicure started chipping and peeling about a week afterwards. If it's a good manicure, it should last 2 weeks easy. Anyway, I went to Krystal Nails this past Friday as a walk in, and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, and warm and inviting. I waited about 5 minutes. I wish I could remember the young girl who did my nails. Because she did A METICULOUS job!!!! No lumps or bubbles. No gel polish on my cuticles. Speaking of cuticles, she did a professional and clean job. I will be going back. Very pleased with my first visit. read more

I went in to have my nails done. First time at this salon. I liked how they turned out. Though i was charged $40 when they advertised and told me over the phone it would be $32. I went with it anyways as I wanted what I thought would be quality nails. However, the next day when one broke and another cracked just doing basic every day things (I'm not new with acrylics. I know how to take care of them and am not rough on them)- I became unhappy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called to get them fixed. When I went in, they simply put acrylic over the cracked one and then replaced the broken one. I said it was fine and left. The next day, the same cracked one they "fixed" broke along with a completely different one. I called again to get my money back. They only offered me a gift card or to have them fixed again. I told them I do not trust their quality as even when they were "fixed" they were still breaking. The owners wife took it upon herself to continuously interrupt me, gaslight me, threatened me that she would take the nails off my fingers so she could "have her services back", etc. I tried multiple times to resolve this issue only for the same woman to do this every time. The owner himself refused to speak to me. I kept being told he would call me and never did. When I called he was ironically not there, every time. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT QUALITY NAILS AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. I only used them because my usual spots were full. Never again. Worst nail experience I have had ever. read more

I absolutely love this nail salon. Tommy (Owner) and the other nail technicians are very nice and do a wonderful job. The first time I went in, I asked for acrylic to be put over my real nails. Because of my field, I have to wash my hands excessively, and my nails and beds have become very thin and fragile. I wanted something that would make my nails stronger, so I had them put acrylic and a quick easy swipe of color. When I came in the second time, Tommy suggested I try getting the dip on my nails instead of acrylic. I absolutely love it! It really is better for your nails and will help them grow. They have numerous colors to choose from and I absolutely love the color I chose. It's perfect for fall and goes with every outfit. It looks professional, which is an absolute must in the field I work in. Some nail salons I've been to in the past are not very clean looking, but at Krystal Nails it is not only clean but everything looks in good shape and the tools and massage chairs (pedicures) they use look very new and up to date. read more

I had a very bad experience with this place they had on their window pink to white nails and I asked to get them I had to wait an hour to get my acrylics filed and they took all of them of and yelled at me for going to another place. When they finally got to my nails they told me they aren't going to do the pink to white nails because I'm copying everyone. They ended up doing something completely different and picked colors that I didn't like so my prom nails were ruined they also said my job isn't fit for a women. I strongly dislike this place and I don't recommend this place to anyone read more

i got a "deluxe pedicure" that was not at all deluxe. i sat in the chair at 9:36 and she was done by 9:56, while the girls sitting in the chairs next to me got regular pedicures and were still enjoying massages while i was checking out. i did not get all of the items listed under "deluxe" pedicure and when i asked the woman how that was deluxe when the other girls were still enjoying their massages, she stated it was because the men doing them were "very slow." i feel like it should be a slow, enjoyable experience, so i was very disappointed. she gave me 10 dollars off, so i only paid for a spa pedicure however - i still paid more than other women getting a regular pedicure for a much less enjoyable experience. unfortunately, because of this, i did not tip because i felt that i very much overpaid for the service i was provided. i will not be returning. read more

I had always heard krystal did a good job. The whole experience was awful but to make a long story short he said he could do my nails way better than my old nail tech for cheaper. He complained the whole time doing my nails about how hard the design was (my old nail tech couldve done it w her eyes closed). I personally love this nail salon. I have been getting my nails done here for about a year and a half. They are so friendly and accommodating. For example, sometimes I have my son with me when I come in and Tina is so sweet to him. She goes out of her way to be nice to him and even has given him snacks on a few occasions. Also I should note that I can be very picky about my nails and if I ever want something changed or filed down differently etc. they are more than happy to do so. Lastly but most importantly, my nails always look phenomenal when I leave this place. I receive so many compliments on my nails and everyone always asks me where I get them done. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. It used to be great when the previous owners were in charge but now it's Kenny and Jenny that are running the place and they have put shame to Krystal Nails. They couldn't care less if you make an appointment or not you'll be waiting there for hours to get your nails done. Not only do they make you wait FOREVER they do an absolutely HORRIBLE job. Every time I've gotten my nails done here they break within a day and when I go to get my nail fixed they expect me to sit there for an hour and wait for them to be ready. Their manicures suck and their pedicures are even worse. They take about 15 minutes total and rush to get to the next customer. Kenny and Jenny are extremely rude and charge for every little thing you ask for. They won't even speak to you when you ask for something and just stare at you. Everyone says Jenny can do any design but she for sure can't because I've come in with the simplest designs and she tries to do it and my dog could have probably painted my nails better. This place is the most disgusting, horrible, and unorganized nail salon and I would absolutely never go here. If you want your nails done well here, Tommy is your only choice, however it comes with a price. Friendliness is great, but over familiarity means they don't respect boundaries, people's time, or treat each customer equally. He thinks he's being funny but often comes across as being quite rude. Appointment times seem to mean nothing. Booking an appointment in advance with a specific person seems to mean nothing. People with appointments are left waiting while they tend to walk-ins. Technicians often work on more than one person at a time, so you're left waiting for long periods of time. It's both annoying and extremely disrespectful of each and every client they work on like that. People have places to be and things to do other than spending half a day in a nail salon. Tina is not very skilled at filing nail shapes evenly and consistently. She has also cut me or caused me to pull away several times through friction burning with the grinding tool or cut the sides of my fingers with a file, every single time she's done my nails! She just doesn't focus properly on what she's doing. She's always talking and/or looking around distracted, but she doesn't have the ability to do two things at once. I purposely have made an appointment with Tommy, as at least he is actually good at what he does, but I've somehow ended up being done by Tina, and you can just tell that if you said something, they'd make you feel like you were the one being the jerk. I was in there from 5pm till 7:30 this past Thursday. I left work early to drive the 30 minutes to get there on time but I still had to wait 1/2 an hour before they started. By the time Tina got done I just wanted to get out of there. She worked on two other people at the same time as me. Doing a bit at each station and then everyone was forced to wait. Why take so many bookings if you're going to provide a shabby service to everyone? I was so mad at their nonchalant way of treating customers. Even though it's close to my home, I've decided I need to find somewhere else. I can spend $100 elsewhere on a mani-pedi and feel like the folks are attentive, and that I the customer am the focus. It's far from a one off experience too. They have lost me as a customer. I will not be returning. I suspect others have, and will continue, to do the same, and for the same reasons. I have been going to Krystal nails for a year and a half and I have loved it. Tommy sings and talks to me and we laugh while I am getting my nails done. Despite this, I went in two days ago and I am back today because my nail broke. Now I know that that happens, but the strange thing is that all I was doing was putting on my sock and it cracked. These nails are usually much sturdier and I am disappointed. So I went back in to get my nail fixed and I can sense the frustration from the employees. I am sorry that my nail wasn't done properly because if it was it would not have broken after two days while only putting on a sock. I am hoping I don't have any more problems because I like coming here, but I may have to change my nail salon. read more

I wrote a review earlier this week after my awful experience at Crystal Nails, but I do not see it here. I am writing again because I want women to know this. I gave the earlier review 3 stars because the technician was good and I wanted to be fair to her. My complaint is with the man in charge. He is rude beyond belief, so I will never return, hence my one star review. You are not greeted pleasantly, and they start you soaking so it is difficult to get up and leave after ten minutes of waiting. I have been to Krystal Nails a handful of times before and it was always adequate. Today (I'm in town visiting), I walked in and needed a manicure. I was sat down right away to soak my nails. I was not told there would be any kind of wait. The nail technician walked away. After waiting 10 minutes, I got up and left. No one apologized for the wait. A 10-15 minute wait is certainly not a problem, but I was never made aware there would be a wait, and no one said anything. I only hope that the nail technician that ignored me is spoken to about proper customer service. read more
