Stopped here for a quick breakfast while waiting for a haircut. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought they only offered a variety of biscuits, but I was able to order a Senior Breakfast plate of eggs, sausage, and grits - all made to order. Service was also excellent. The young lady working the front was friendly and efficient. There was not enough coffee to fill my cup, so she gave me what she had, made a pot, then brought me ANOTHER cup as she brought my food. Despite the fact that Krystal cheeseburgers are undersized and overpriced, I love them once in a while. We were stopping overnight in late November 2023 in Augusta, saw a Krystal sign on Washington Road near our motel, and decided to stop. We got a bag full. Sadly, these were the worst Krystals I've ever had. The cheese Krystals didn't even look or taste like Krystals. The buns were like no Krystal bun I've ever seen. The fries? Awful. Greasy. Pathetic. A small fries cost something like $2.69, and I wouldn't eat them if you paid me. They were so bad. We just threw them in the trash can at our motel. It's amazing that Krystal stays open, especially with outlets like this one in Augusta. read more

Love these wonderful little burgers ! Buns are soft and delicious perfect size reminds me of White Castle in New York . Theses burgers are steamed not fried to perfection. They have these others sandwiches called lil chix they are absolutely wonderful chicken is seasoned just right . They off er French fries and tots as well . Ben a huge Krystal fan since my teenage years. Ordered 4 cheese Krystals, 2 cheese Krystals no onions and extra pickles, and a medium fry. Not a dan of the new fries. Battered to stay hot longer. I've had Krystal burger and grew up with them. The lady was horrible. When we got the food the bag was discusting. The bag had food all over it. We asked for a new one. Then since we're were going back to Texas found on the way the meat was super grey and gross looking. Waisted money. Not bad for a Krystals when you're craving some "gut grenades" after midnight! Look the service was efficient and they got my order right. Not sure what else you can ask for when you're starving late in the evening. If you're looking for a review of the FOOD itself....well then, I LOVE Krystals! It's the closest thing you can find to White Castle here in the South! I don't think there is any comparision other than to White Castle (the original "slider") but you gotta love the little burgers. The cashier was so curt while I was placing my order at the drive-thru that I pulled off before getting to the payment window! There was an immediate feeling that she did not want to be bothered with me at all less known serve me. I could not finish a sentence before she cut me off with the "Is there anything else ma'am?" response. If you don't want my money I'll just keep it. These Urban locations are utterly ridiculous with their attitudes. I realize it is fast food and not fine dining but my goodness. If you go through the drive thru, check your order! Got 2 cheese crystals and asked for no pickles. I received 2 plain crystals with pickles... Another time I asked for a sausage gravy scrambler and got the low carb scrambler. Tea instead of Coke another time and one time they didn't give me my hash browns. I know checking should go without saying but sometimes I don't and that's when I learn my lesson. read more

Sack of sliders is a wonderful choice. I don't care about their fries, chicken, or hot dogs. I love the Krystal Burgers all the way. We don't have Krystals in Columbia, SC so anytime I go to Atlanta we stop for a sack. Love them. read more

Ordered via DoorDash. They left my poor dasher waiting in the parking lot for a half hour. Locked the lobby, and refused to answer the phone, even with a closed lobby, and no line at the drive thru. I felt I needed to tip the Dasher an extra $10 for the runaround they put us through. read more

I like White Castle better than Krystals, still both are fun to eat, especially after a night on the town. Its just easy to order a half dozen of the little hamburger and scarf them down. Both places put the chopped up onions on the sandwiches, but I remember White Castle giving you more of them. But i still love those little hamburgers at both places. read more
