Super disappointed. It looked and tasted like the fries were fried three times either that or the oil was never changed in over a week. The burger did not seem fresh either. It was as if it was way overdone either that or it tasted like it sat for a long time. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with mayonnaise and ketchup and a little fry. Though they gave me a lot of fries they tasted oily and overdone. Five Guys has been my go-to burger joint for a while. Always good, always on-time, and usually has very friendly staff. Not sure why there are negative reviews. If you want a very good cheeseburger, this is the place to go. There is a cost to good food. If you don't like the cost, go somewhere else. read more

What Happened!? We miss the Five Guys guys that were so awesome before! The new management at Five Guys in Aiken really sucks. We are so sad. At this point, we will not be going back to that location. We used to go all the time. And, it's our favorite restaurant in Aiken, aside from The Whitney. The employees recently were very rude to us on the phone when we were attempting to do a DoorDash order. The employees at Five Guys in Aiken were always really sweet and remembered us when we would come in. i Always order the bunless grilled cheese [lettuce wrap]. The guy on the phone was just sOo incredibly mean. I told him that the DoorDash menu didNot give the option for the grilled cheese to be on a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. He said, "What do you want me to do about it?" Then he said that it is "impossible" to make a grilled cheese lettuce wrap. He said, "The lettuce will melt!" We have literally ordered this very item so many times in the past, in fact, at this specific location. It's never been an issue before. Previously, the Five Guys in Aiken would not put lettuce directly on the grill. They would grill the cheese and toppings on the flattop, then put it on the lettuce; just as you would do for a burger; just as they do at In&Out and other great restaurants. Anyway, after this guy was so rude, i Asked to speak with the manager. To my shock, the manager was even more of a mean guy. He was insulting. He basically called me a liar, saying it is impossible, that there is no way i have ever ordered a bunless grilled cheese from Five Guys. i Guess the Five Guys Aiken management are not familiar with the Golden Rule of Customer Service: The customer is always right. That means, that we are no longer customers of Five Guys in Aiken. We are very sad about this situation. We have reached out through their website and Google Reviews, but so far, higher management has not contacted us regarding the issue. Heartbreaking. read more

Yeah, the burger is very tasty, and the fries are very tasty. It's been a long time since I've been there, and I went there today by myself. I got a cheeseburger and fries, nothing extra, no drink, no nothing, and if I had been a family of five, which I once was, it would've cost me $92.55 to get out the door, and there was no vodka involved at all. I mean, it's a good hamburger but it's not that good. It's not gonna change your life, know what I mean? Also, it was a little after 3 o'clock in the afternoon when I got there, and the tables were nasty and sticky, because they had not been wiped down from lunch! Nasty and sticky tables at 3:15 in the afternoon, it's just not what you want to see. It's not worth the money. Even the people who work there, it's like they remind you of McDonald's in the 1980s, they just don't have a clue, and their tables are dirty and sticky. Yeah, the burger is good and the fries are good, but man... $100 for a family of five and there's no Jack Daniels involved at all. That's messed up! I kind of wish it was Shoney's again. read more

We were hungry and spent $18 for two small cheese hamburgers and regular fries. Looking at the hamburger, the meat patty was so flat and thin that it broke apart in pieces. I had to put it back together to keep it all in the bun. Fortunately there was a lot of shredded lettuce!!! Yes!!! And the large bun!!! The cook needs to go back to hamburger making school and the management needs to enroll in quality control school. Please start making quality hamburgers again. read more

It has been a while since I have had a Five Guys burger and this experience was underwhelming. Two of the burgers I had asked for grilled mushrooms, the mushrooms were definitely not grilled more like straight out of a can. Bought a hot dog for my grand daughter and $5 for a plain hot dog, which was split in half and dried up. For the price of the burgers you would think the patties would be nice thick juicy patties, not the case. I would go to O'Charleys for a big good juicy burger for the same price. I order from here during on 5/4, COVID pandemic so take out only. I used ubereats to make the order and was able to select what I wanted. I ordered my burger all the way and added other toppings. When I picked up my order, I also confirmed that it was all the way with extra toppings. When I got home the burger had none of the "all the way" toppings and only had the additions. I was not going all the way back there from home. Also my fries were under cooked. This is not the quality I usually receive from Give Guys. If you decide to go double check hue order. The food is just ok. Not nearly as good as they think they are! And way too over priced mot worth the money. At Fuddruckers you get better taste, twice the size, just as fresh and the same price! Best fries in town and served in large quantities! Get your burger "your way" with the largest list of trimmings that we've seen and the trimmings are always fresh. My wife loves the peanuts. Burgers always made fresh. The decor is "hamburger joint modern," but always clean. Staff always friendly and energetic. We are regulars. read more
