Amazing sandwiches.!!! my husband had the club and German potato salad I had the corn beef on rye and the cucumber salad ....... My husband said his was so good. He ate the whole thing in one setting. I was fortunate enough to bring half of mine home for dinner because there's no way I would've been able to eat all that.!!! his potato salad was good and I'm gonna say my cucumbers were OK.... (I compare all cucumber salads to my grandma's so nothing ever matches hers ) the service was awesome. You ordered it the counter and they'll bring it out to your table.!!!!! the interior needs some work, but it is a super old building and I think they need to restock their candy supply, but I'm still giving them a five because of the food!!!!!!!

The Rueben was really tasty, it could do with a bit more meat. The flavors were some of the best I've had and these are my go to sandwiches. Hubby's sandwich tasted great too ( of course we share!) bread was soft and not overpowering. I added Zapp's jalepeno chips but I wish I chose the German potato salad. Hubs had it and it was warm and yummy, bits of corned beef, perfect potatoes in a light non mayo like dressing with caramelized onions. Lose a 5 star for just for the lack of upkeep inside. It was sad to see bolted on cardboard instead of dry wall around the windows. The food is great, please give the place some TLC. Good interactions with the staff.

We ordered the Apollo Dipper and Ruben. The Ruben was stacked with thinly sliced corn beef on Jewish rye. This sandwich was on point... tender meat and flavorful. Ambiance: Large brick and mortar establishment with plenty of table and booth seating.

This area of Augusta was like a ghost town but has such incredibly high potential. This deli is…read moreright on Broad street and offers a big menu. We tried the Apollo which had turkey and ham with melted cheese. We split the sandwich and tried the potato salad ( made in house) and tomato soup. They boast special recipe sauces and big rolls. The bread was very soft. Prices reasonable. The Apollo was good but average. Found the sauce to be very sweet. The potato salad is very dill heavy and also sweet . The tomato soup was good with some larger pieces of tomato in it. Overall it was a clean spot with plenty of seating and average food with average prices. Descent spot for a quick bite

The place is great and the bar (located in the back) is quaint and friendly. The young lady that helped us was friendly, attentive, and had a smile on her face every time she spoke to us. I had the Deluxe Steak Philly with wedge fries, which are seasoned with lemon paper. It was juicy and delicious and just the right size. My son had a caesar salad with grilled chicken. It was huge and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm excited to go back and spend more time chatting with the other folks at the bar and watching a game.

Today we got here and the music was so loud you could not even hear each other and we could hardly hear the waitress. Also the temperature must have been 60 degrees and we were freezing! I ordered a lamb gyro and eggplant side dish. The gyro was moderately sized with a decent amount of sauce. It was well seasoned and there was a decent quantity of meat inside. The eggplant was slightly tart but went well alongside the lamb gyro. It did need a little bit of salt. At $6 for a gyro, the prices are the best you can find for a decent sized gyro in Augusta. Pretty solid place overall although I wish there was a dedicated parking lot and a few more tables. Will return in the future if craving solid gyros at a great price!

Food: I ordered the WING combo (comes with fries and a drink) and my hubby order the Philly Cheesesteak and Wing combo (comes with a drink). The wings were solid. I had half Honey BBQ and Sweet Chili (spicy). If you like saucy wings, which I do, these are it. The fries were not my favorite. NOT A PARTICLE OF SALT. Not a one. I tried my husbands Cheesesteak, and it was good! I'd order if I return. Service: *deep sigh* The guy that took our order was VERY SHORT with us. Slightly, rude. Really rubbed us both the wrong way. Like, dude, I see why this place is EMPTY! He was not helpful, even after we told him this was our first visit. We didn't feel welcomed at all. Felt as if we were bothering him. The food was not good enough to make up for the not so warm welcome we've received. Probably won't be back.

When I corrected him instead of just trying to fix my order he told me that I ordered that and tried to just make me go away. What kind of customer service?! If a customer tells you their order is wrong after they have paid for it YOU FIX IT. Yeah you F'd up in my book I won't be back. My last two orders, made over about 3 or 4 months, were NOT accurately made. I ask for three things in the "special instructions"; remove the excess bread from the buns, do NOT cut these half subs in half again, and put the oil & vinegar on the side to be added at home. Two times ago, when I got home, they had followed NONE of those instructions. Then, yesterday, I felt I had to check the order before leaving and discovered no oil and vinegar was given PLUS the extra bacon I ordered for my wife's sub was omitted (but I had paid for it). This was bad enough but when I pointed it out, the attitude was like I had spit in their Wheaties rather than a warranted "I'm sorry"! I'm losing my faith in this particular JM's location and may, with one more negative experience, patronize a different store.
