chain has declined unbelievably. 1/3 of each sandwich had no meat. The manger needs some training in customer service because using the f word is a little much after you have been stolen from. It was delivery because I would have asked for my money back in the store. What a joke, not again. As the manger said, they are not Jersey Mike's. I went in after work to get a sandwich and the person who took my order acted like I was taking up her personal time. Also, when my order was ready I asked for a bag for my to go order and was informed that " corporate " policy was no to go bag unless you order three or more sandwiches. I looked on Firehouse main site and Google searched the policy and found nothing. Very poor and deceptive service. read more

I'm going to give it two stars because I do like the subs. There is usually something wrong with my order, but that doesn't speak to the food and only the staff. I've gone to this location a few times, and every time the same guy is working the register. He always has a black hoodie over his head and looks like he couldn't hate his job more. There is no greeting, and if you walk up, he will just stare at you to the point that it's uncomfortable. Today I finally just asked - are you ready for my order? - and he nodded his head, still without speaking a word to me. It's ironic that everyone that works here is so miserable looking and acting, yet they have a "we are hiring smiling faces" sign up. I really hope they find smiling, friendly faces soon. Up until last night, I've never had an issue with Firehouse Subs. I ordered 3 subs, a bag of chips, and a drink. It was about 15-20 minutes before closing when I went in. I had already already ordered it online. I needed to use the restroom, and there was someone at the register anyway. So I noticed how dirty the store and tables were on my way to the back. When I went in the restroom there was toilet paper all over the floor. The toilet was clogged with toilet paper and paper towels. I tried to flush it down 4 times, but it never would flush down. So I just washed my hands and went out. I planned on letting the clerk know. When I walked up she asked for my name and I told her. She rudely said they were out of the meat for 2 of the subs. So I walked outside to call my party and see what they wanted to replace it with. When I came back in, I was so flustered at her attitude already, I totally forgot about the issue with the restroom. I got my cup for my drink , and a male employee came up to me. He said "Did you use the restroom?" to which I replied no. I told him I couldn't because it was dirty and the toilet was clogged. He then said "yes you did bruh! That customer said you did". First of all this is a single toilet, and in less someone was in it, they couldn't know that. Secondly he started laughing and that's when I lost my cool, so I yelled back "No I didn't bruh". That's when the cashier with purple hair yelled "Don't raise your voice at my cousin!". I yelled back "Then your cousin shouldn't accuse people of something they didn't do!". After being accused of that and being yelled at, I'd had enough! I yelled back to just give me a refund. The purple haired cashier said ok and started laughing. After a couple minutes of waiting with still no refund, I told her "I am calling corporate and you all are getting fired, and walked out." They just laughed again. There was some expletives dropped from the review for respect for other people here. I called corporate who said I would have to wait up to 48 hours for the store owner to call back to get our refund. I will never step foot in this store to order again! It's nasty, and the employees are rude and nasty! I just want my money back, and if y'all want better cleaner food, go to Firehouse on Walton Way in Augusta,GA! read more

Attempted to order a standard combo meal of the NY Steamer & Chili. Changed my mind one witnessing weighing meat and tearing away pieces which left only 2 torn up slices. After receiving a dry inaudible response from the female taking the order I decided only the chili to be a safer option. Upon eating my lukewarm chili I discovered it was mostly beans & tomatoes. I may give firehouse 1 more chance (NO TIME SOON!) BUT NOT AT THIS LOCATION & ONLY a sub with chips maybe. I just tried the Smokehouse Beef sub. I am certainly not an expert on brisket, but this brisket is absolutely the best I have ever eaten. Great flavor and very tender. I have tried many different places that serve brisket in Texas and this brisket is better. read more

I love subs, and I love this place. One word that comes to mind when I think of Firehouse is DELICIOUS!!!! I have a few places I stop to get subs from and this one is at the top of my list. This location is one of my favorites to go to. It's in a perfect spot in a busy strip mall. The staff is always friendly and greets you with a warm welcome whenever you enter this establishment. I love the Club on a Sub. It has ham, turkey, bacon, and all the regular vegetable toppings. I love the taste that toasting the sub gives it. The meat on the sub is so succulent. The ham has a sweetness to it that gives it a nice little kick to it, and all the condiments on it compliment it very well. Another plus is that they have my favorite Coke machine here. I would love one of those in my home. That would be so awesome!!!! read more

I used to always receive amazing service here. The past few months I've come at least twice a month and the service has gone down hill. It's hit or miss with someone greeting you when you enter. It tends to take a while for someone to take your order, even with no one in front of you. The food is always good once you finally get it. read more

My husband went to pick up our to-go order and then had to wait 25 minutes past our pick up time bc they were out of one of the soups we ordered. Best fast food sub place in the Augusta area (there are multiple locations), far superior to Subway and lots of interesting selections. The varied hot sauces are an added attraction. This location is in a strip mall by Walmart, such an area I normally avoid like the plague, but if we want subs and don't mind running out to pick them up, this is where we now go. read more
