Jeromond took my order and made my sandwich pretty quickly. It was not and fresh, not at all what I expected but it was good lol.. he could've cut it in half though. Customer service was top tier!! Pleasant with great energy!! Knowledgeable!! I walked in to inquire about vegetarian options and they were able to let me know my options with no hesitation. I usually really like pita pit but I was disappointed In this location. The veggies weren't that fresh and for all the raving I did my parents were not impressed and sadly I wasn't either. This place made it hard to order, it was slow despite only one other family being in the restaurant and the place just seemed disorganized. I am very disappointed at the service my wife and I didn't receive. We waited for a few minutes while your worker completed what had to be a call in order because no one else was in the restaurant. Which was fine. there was no issue with that. However, to have the lady acknowledge us and ask us to wait, to then greet the customers who came in after us and take their order. She was the only person working that we saw. Which meant we would have to wait several minutes longer for our food while watching her fix the other customers' food. When they left, we would still be there waiting for our food. We used to eat there a lot before we moved away. Now we are back. We liked the two young brothers a lot. Wanting something "healthy" and counting calories led us to Pita Pit. We came during happy hour, 2pm-5pm, where their bigger size is $6.50, usually $7.99. I get the Thai Chicken and my husband the Bacon Cheeseburger. We had planned to eat in as it was completely empty, but the lady putting together our food had wrapped them up. So off we went. The Thai Chicken was good, I enjoyed the flavor, and my husband says he could really get the cheeseburger taste from his, although not so much any bacon. He couldn't stop raving about the pita bread on its own though. What irked us is when placing our order, the guy on register asked if we wanted a combo, add chips and drinks. Our daughter wanted a smoothie, so we asked if we could get a smoothie as a drink for the combo. He says yes. So we pay and head to get some water while our food is put together. Our daughter then runs to get her chips and the guy says, "Did you just get chips? I need to ring you up for those." We stupidly look at him as we got the combo ... or did we? Nope. He rung it up as a smoothie on its own, no combo, after saying we wanted the combo... So we shelled out more money for the chips our daughter had her heart set on. We were literally the only people in the store, so I'm not sure how he messed up our order. He also told us they do military discount but not on the food during happy hour. I love this place. It is a chain and I originally went to one in Atlanta. They will make your Pita sandwich any way you want it and I have tried some interesting combinations. The people that run the place are very friendly and the food is not expensive. If you take the sandwich home i recommend that you microwave it for about 30 seconds because the sandwich can get cold rather quickly! This is a chain, but locally owned and operated and is a great place to eat! read more

We placed and order online through Door Dash, I ordered 2 smaller pita gyros and made them both a combo which came out to $10.88 each before taxes. If you order just the pita it's $7.49. We only received 2 pitas, 1 drink and 1 chip. When I called the lady was very rude telling me I only ordered 1 combo, but my receipt, the drivers receipt and the customer service department for Door Dash receipt ALL showed 2 combos. Door Dash gave me a credit, so I decided to not go to Pita Pit and deal with the rude lady. So just make sure you get what you ordered because they have no problem calling you a liar. We won't be eat it there again, not only because of this incident, but the gyro wasn't even good. LAZIZA IS SOOOOO MUCH BETTER. read more

While the food has been good in the past, we came in today and saw a deal advertised for buy a combo, get a pita half off. We bought the equivalent of two combos from the manager and were charged full price. Apparently, you have to remind them they are advertising a deal. Then to get the deal, they have to do two separate transactions or else the register overrides the deal. So what recourse do you have when the manager tells you she doesn't know the deals they offer and can't do anything about the resulting overcharge? First, write a bad review. Second, don't come back. Decent food, bad service. After I took the photo of the sign (posted here), the manager sent an employee out to turn the sign around so the deal was no longer visible. read more

Think of this place as a better option of Chipotle with gyros and wraps with toppings...create your own style with 10 meat pita bases to choose from. I had the small chicken breast gyro and my hubby had the regular gyro with tons of toppings. I added mushrooms, feta, jalepenos, lettuce, and spinach. We both tried 3 of the free sauces: hot sauce (Frank's red hot), tzatziki, and secret sauce. Josie was amazing and stuffed our sandwiches to the brim...seriously, stellar customer service. We ordered a delivery meal of a gyro, chicken souvlaki, a falafel gyro, and fries. As much as I always wanted to try Pita Pita, I won't eat there again as it was extremely disappointing. First of all, the gyro was the only decent sandwich, and it was fair at best. The fries had ok flavor but just had a pinch of crumbled feta. My last bite I experienced a VERY long blonde hair IN MY MOUTH buried in my 3rd bite of the chopped chicken pita. It by far wasn't worth the money -- $80 for 3 sandwiches, fries, 2 baklava (6 pieces), and a slice of bakalava cheesecake. The Pita Pit is new to the area and it unfortunately feels like a place I've eaten several times. The Pita Pit is reminiscent of Great Wraps. I wasn't really wowed by the food. Basically, you get to choose from various pitas on the menu. They have pitas with meat (chicken, ham, turkey etc.) and veggie pitas. They do offer breakfast pitas, which may be a welcomed deviation from the typical breakfast foods. You have a choice of a combo, which you get a pita, drink, with a soup, cookie or chips. The one thing I do like is the caloric count is listed for each pita. You can also get the Pita Pit rewards card. It gives you something free after accumulating a certain amount of visits or spending a specific amount. The selection is familiar. I'd recommend this place if you are on the go and need to grab a quick bite. The location is on a busy road, but it is fairly easy to enter and exit. read more

Generally, I don't care about service. My reason for checking out restaurants is food not friendliness and level of service never plays into my reviews, but... The woman that was working when I stopped in here was possibly the friendliest person I have ever met. Especially considering there were two customers behaving like complete jackasses while ordering. Amazing verbal restraint and further proved to me that I will never have the temperament for any service industry. Again, amazing service. On to the food!! Pita/gyro/doner/shawarma... In my mind, they are all the same and I have had more than a few. Went with a gyro and a philly. Essentially the same thing, but one comes with grilled onions/peppers. If you're planning on eating it while driving home, double meat (can't believe I'll write this) is a poor choice. Only because double meat is a lot and overloads the pita, breaks, and will make a mess. However, if a table is your plan, double it! Tzaziki sauce is delicious, chipotle has just the right amount of kick, and red onions should be an option everywhere. Will definitely return. read more

This was my first time and it came recommended because I am a bit new to the area. I ordered two pitas because I needed one for the evening. I ordered a chicken souvlaki and a falafel Pita. My order was like 17 bucks It was busy it took a long time and they got my pitas wrong and blamed me. I saw her cooking my falafel with mushrooms which I hate. They had to throw it away and restart. I ate the falafel first....it was ok not amazing. It was at least edible. The chicken was gross I bit into nothing but fat and I swear it was horrble thigh meat. I couldn't get past that bite. I called today (in super busy and was off a few days) and the first young man I talked to was amazing. He apologized and offered me a free Pita. Cool I felt like I could go there again.....because I was not going to eat there ever again.... Queue the owner....in his condescending tone he tells me I should have immediately drove back and complained.....I was I Thomson GA WHICH is 30 miles away.....to show them the bad Pita and get it replaced...no thank you! Then he told me that it was my fault because of my choice of vegetables.... Excuse my impatience but I told him because of this call I will NEVER come back and it's because he is blaming me for his poor product. So...all in all it was a pretty bad experience. read more

I took my daughter to this restaurant today. Definitely underwhelmed by the place. The employees were friendly, but the service was slow. Granted, they were fairly busy, but still, for a counter service restaurant 30 minutes from order to sitting down is a little on the excessive side. There were approximately eight people in front of us, all of whom had ordered before we stepped up to the register. And that is another complaint I have-you pay before they ever begin making your food, so you're stuck. You don't know how long it will take to get your food, and you have already paid for it so you cannot leave... The food was ok, nothing better than Subway on a pita. The gyros were the flat chopped and shaped strips that you can find at some grocery stores (for less money), and there were four of these little strips on the sandwich (for just under $7!) They were out of cucumbers and romaine lettuce, the hummus was kind of pasty and thick, and the tzatziki was bland. Daughter had a ham pita with tomatoes and pickles (again, no cucumbers or romaine). It was ok-she did like the honey Dijon mustard. Wanted a side of falafel but wound up being charged for a whole sandwich, so had it made into a salad and took it home for the son. Falafel was little discs, similar to ones I have seen at Arabic/Middle Eastern grocers in the freezer section. Tasted ok, but nothing special. Nothing special about sums up my entire experience at Pita Pit. That and expensive-two sandwiches, two drinks, two chips, and the salad cost $27.00! I could have gone to one of the two Mediterranean places and had a real sit down dinner for around $10 a person, plus drinks, and gotten a lot more to eat. read more
