We don't frequent this location enough. After the great customer service of a mistake that im sure wasn't even their fault, I will have to fix our lack of patronage here. I ordered with the online app, and waited a while. Showed up and they had no record of my order, even though in my app I could show them that I in fact did make an order. The supervisor/manager was incredibly polite and expressed their apologies. I said its okay, it isn't your fault and she took my order right there on the spot so I didn't have to wait again. Once the food was prepared, wasn't a crazy long wait, she brought it out to me personally and even mentioned again that she was sorry about the hiccup and she put 2 extra slices of cheesecake to make up for the error. I didtn even feel like it was their fault to begin with, but I expressed my gratitude. Problems happen all the time, no one is perfect, and no program/app/website...etc is either. How you deal with the problems when they occurs though is everything. 5 stars to this location and the customer service. read more

I can never decide on a good chicken salad recipe to try at home, so we finally decided to give Chicken Salad Chick a try. We arrived around 4pm on a Wednesday, and had no trouble parking or getting inside. My husband and I both decided to do The Chick on sandwiches, toasted white bread for him and a croissant for me. He went with Olivia's Old South, and I went with Kickin' Kay Lynne. I'm pretty iffy about pickles, but I can say Olivia's was actually really pleasant. The flavors worked together and it wasn't a competition over which flavor would shine more. Kickin' Kay Lynne's was also really good, but I wish it were a bit spicier, either from the jalapeños or added sriracha. The Chick comes with a side, a pickle, and a cookie (our kids stole our cookies but ate them all, so I'm assuming they're delicious). I chose the broccoli salad and my husband got the loaded baked potato soup. Both were fantastic! I really loved the sweet vinaigrette and how all the flavors melted together. I'd highly recommend it. The soup was perfect on our rainy day, smooth and creamy. It'd be even better if it had a little sour cream on top. It is a little pricy and a bit of a drive for us, but Hope did mention to us that they offer 15% on the first Monday of each month. So we'll be back to try something else! read more

My mom took me to try for the first time and my god, what a friendly environment. Jessie, the cashier was so sweet and super helpful. If you've never been here before, take note that you get to try samples of things if you're not sure about them to decide if you'll like them or not before getting them. After we ordered, we took a seat and once the food was ready, Jan, one of the other workers brought it out to us and was friendly when she talked to us. She came back a few minutes later to check on us and held a smile on her face the whole time. Our meals came with a butter cream miniature cookie and it was absolutely delightful. I ordered a turkey club no honey mustard and a side of macaroni and cheese and it was poppin'. I'll have to bring my husband here and let him try it and try something new next time. I love Chicken Salad Chick and the restaurant is very clean. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of lack of consistency in he amount of bacon in the Sassy Scottie. I love bacon but this is made with an extreme amount of very salty bacon bits . This really takes away from the overall flavor of the recipe because all you taste is salty bacon with a bad texture. My husband agreed with me that the Grovetown Store makes the salad with way too much bacon . At first I thought this was a mistake but this has been the case on two trips now . The Evans store seems to do a better job with the recipe . The second suggestion is to offer varieties of crackers . Multigrain crackers do not fit with each flavor of salad. Unsalted crackers and maybe pita chips would be nice. Overall ,this is a great place to eat and the chicken salad is terrific. My favorites are the cranberry and almond flavor as well as the other fruity flavors . Two have apples and grapes and both are extremely delicious . One has pineapple along with the apples and grapes and the other has pecans with the apples and grapes. Each recipe has a unique cute name like Fruity Fran and Fancy Nancy . The barbeque flavor is great and the regular ones are great also. One has eggs and I believe one has onions. I absolutely love their pimento cheese and they offer a spicy version which I have not tried. I have had a turkey sandwich on a croissant which was good as take out .( I regretted not getting scoops of chicken salad though) My husband has had the potato soup which was just okay. They also offer cold salads and a pasta salad which I have not tried but they look as though they are fresh and tasty . I believe they offer a grape salad and a broccoli one which are both good choices for vegetarians . I plan to try the grape salad as a dessert . There are just so many choices which make eating here kind of an adventure in itself. A delicious round, frosted sugar cookie is also served with the meals. They offer other cute sugar cookies and a square cookie type treat as well. The prices aren't too bad as compared to bakeries nearby . Try the cookies !! They are so soft and flavorful!!! So in closing, I have to mention the clean ladies bathroom and the decor which is a Southern "sayin" type theme. This is a small thing but a nice touch to bring a smile during a visit . As a person who loves a great chicken salad i was not let down eating here. 1st you must decide how you want it, I choose a sandwich cause that's me. So I went with the most spicy kind the had the Kickin' Kay Lynne sandwich which i was not let down at all. Spicy but a little sweetness in there also on wheat bread and i choose the grape salad for my sweet snack. The store was midway full because sometimes I like to eat my lunch after 1PM less crowded. Found a seat by the window and went for the Iced teas for a drink and in a few minute they brought out my food. I looked great but I must say I need to find out about some coupons for here prices on combos do not include drinks. The name says it all! If you like chicken salad, this is your place! If not...well... I placed my order at the drive-thru and decided to try the trio scoop plate as I couldn't decide on a flavor. I ordered the Sassy Scotty (ranch, bacon, and cheddar), Buffalo, and Cranberry Kelli (cranberries and almonds). Each was delicious and had pretty good flavor (the buffalo would be outstanding with celery). I opted not to get crackers and decided to order the grape salad as a side....THAT was the real standout! With brown sugar and nut topping, this side dish was amazing with just the right amount of sweetness. Walked in today to make a purchase around 10:30. Walked to the register and waited to be acknowledged..2 employees behind the counter are looking right at me as the talked, never said a word. 3 minutes later she walks right past me. First time going into the restaurant and notice not 1, not 2 but 3 different employees either eating (door to Kitchen was open and saw them) or drinking behind counter. Same week, I went thru the drive thru and ordered an extra pickle, to which thru charged me and then forgot. The employee left the window so I sat there for a few and then started waving my hand with a tissue and she then came running to see what i needed. Fabulous menu for something healthy delicious and quick! Love how bright and open the dining area is. Staff was courteous and friendly. My visit was takeout and it was ready in 5 minutes! Loved the spicy pimento cheese sandwich roasted on your choice of bread. I got a scoop of their traditional chicken salad which was served on a fresh lettuce leaf with whole wheat crackers. Their chicken salad is good, especially the barbecue. This review is concerning the general manager of this store. We were looking to use them to cater. We spoke with the manager the previous week who basically helped us decide on what we wanted to order (BTW Megan was awesome, genuinely courteous, and great at customer service). When my wife called back, the lady we spoke with was less than pleasant and unwilling to accommodate what we originally decided. She then let us know that she was the "general manager" and she would have to approve all orders anyways. She said she would call us back...still waiting. (Doesn't matter, we decided not to give them our business the minute we hung up the phone). First time in to try out the place. Walked in and got a very friendly greeting. Ordered two sandwiches to go and snagged a seat. Sat for about 15 minutes and began noticing people getting food who ordered after me. Sat for another 10 mins and still no food and another group of people got food.
